I like the glitches they are well thought out, especially the T-pose glitch, which indicates they broke the animation and thus there's no attack animation so they can just do a shit ton of damage basically as fast as they can click.
I think the animation broke so the sword had an active damage hitbox the whole time. Seen a bug like that used by speedrunners in ocarina of time I think. Funny shit.

Aside from small movements optimizations the biggest time loss was the "White Desk" glitch which took him several attempts to execute, costing him nearly 2 seconds. Preventing him from breaking the 1 minute barrier.
Now I really want to see a video game where the enemies know the character is trying to speed run, and make the game actively more difficult, like the boss will have a longer health bar if you do the slow down menu/attack combo, or if you skip a room, more enemies will appear in the next room, taunting the player.
When some buddies and I were plotting a game, one of the key features for the Speedrun was the fact that the penultimate enemy is also the first one you can encounter. Probably a Yhorm and Rykkard situation where you're supposed to use a specific weapon. But picking it up and equipping it wasn't optimal for the speed runs
The player wasn't supposed to be able to win this fight, and the final boss was actually supposed to die in an ex-machina cutscene after you survived his full attack rotation 5 times. However, actually making the boss invincible would've taken a lot more extra work, so the developers just used the same enemy unit prefab as the other bosses and set his HP to something ridiculous like 999,999,999. If you do manage to kill him via insane damage boosting glitches, however, the boss death cutscene never triggers and you can glitch right into the next room where the final cutscene plays. This allows you to save at least 30 seconds.
0:53 I think every staple Caleb video dealing with someone being knocked tf out or eliminated always has stupid sounds like this, and i love all of them. Can't stop relistening to it
0:15 I like how even though the final boss is confused he can still interpret and call out this seemingly random action as trying to enter a room that isn't supposed to be entered.
There was so much that was funny here. The way he said "WHAT IS HAPPONING HERE?!" and then the "ayo?...AYO AYO". The funniest part was the "I CAN'T SEE followed by the WOOOOOoooo!" It was all comedy gold
As a speedrunner of multiple games and former WR holder in one, a large portion of them are completely on accident. Some are also from similar games running similar code bases that it was discovered in so people decide to see if it will work in some way shape or form in that game instead and sometimes it does.
@@neilxdavis5359 Wassup y’all, I self promote in comment threads and name drop my favorite comedy RUclipsrs and have only one reply that does neither of those things
At 0:09 The speed runner used a speed run short cut trick where he changes the clock time in the computer's system to 2 minutes ahead to skip the dialogue. At 0:12 The speed runner used a Clip glitch through the door to claim a rocket from the chest and using it to knock the boss down triggering the 2nd phase. At 0:28 The speed runner used the same trick where he changes the clock time in the system computer skipping the dialogue. At 0:32 The speed runner used a lag machine where he spams Crouch Really fast breaking the characters animation and breaking all skill cool down, He uses his Double damage potion he got from the chest, Since there is no attack animation he can hit him simultaneously without the boss being able to block. At 0:47 The speed runner uses the smoke bomb to prevent the boss from using healing abilities since its his weakness in the lore, He then executes the boss.
What happened at 0:54? Did the boss just phase through the floor and kept phasing through the floors until he landed or did the boss break through the floors and then landed?
For any new players wondering how this glitch works. First he jumps up by the door until his foot's hit box glitches through the wall into the next room where he then falls out of bounds and is teleported back in bounds. Then when he crouches up and down the momentum is built up as the game still registers him as falling. Then when he's ready to hit his character variable position changes by one into an idle T pose stance in place of the falling one in which he proceeds to force his sword to collide with the boss. Hope this cleared things up foe newer players.
The camera angle at 0:04 is 100% perfect for what games usually give you indoors. A little too close to the character, but not enough room to really have a far camera. Super well done camera work, Caleb!
Imagine having a whole ass backstory and ambition as well as an over arching storyline behind your drive to destroy the world or change it for the better only to be shadowed by some random adventurer whos rolling into the wall to skip your encounter.

I can't believe that the emotionless T-bagging at the end is what got me. Speedrunners are a terrifying force to be reckoned with and this illustrates it perfectly. Hilarious and accurate, good shit dude
That infinite damage attack...reminds me the breath of the wild speed run when the player shot an arrow perfectly where the bosses eye would spawn before entering a cutscene and because the arrow was frozen in place during the time of cutscene it continuously did damage and once it ended and the fight began the boss died and went to the next phase. Edit: I found the clip cause It played basically exactly like Caleb video lmao ruclips.net/video/F4l5AzID7xY/видео.html

Probably a Yhorm and Rykkard situation where you're supposed to use a specific weapon. But picking it up and equipping it wasn't optimal for the speed runs
Would have taken hours in regular scenarios :)
He got a third phase
Can't stop relistening to it
Same
Imagine if bosses actually did react to a person skipping a cutscene
0:15 I like how even though the final boss is confused he can still interpret and call out this seemingly random action as trying to enter a room that isn't supposed to be entered.

The yell on getting folded 😂😂😂
You would’ve yelled like that too if you got folded.
Loool
YAH woooooooo
@@Mustlord_Guitar_Ambient that killed when when it happened 😆
@@phycophykito It killed him too.
Fuck, the seamless t-pose stop motion, the perfect game camera angle, this guy knows his shit!
There was so much that was funny here. The way he said "WHAT IS HAPPONING HERE?!" and then the "ayo?...AYO AYO". The funniest part was the "I CAN'T SEE followed by the WOOOOOoooo!" It was all comedy gold
Damn, he prepared a whole "final boss speech" and everything
The boss is how I feel while I watch speedrunners I'm straight up confused how they find these things sometimes...
I make skits with animations if you're interested🙂
Wassup y'all, I create short comedy skits and just trying to get my name out there. Tell me what you think fr
As a speedrunner of multiple games and former WR holder in one, a large portion of them are completely on accident. Some are also from similar games running similar code bases that it was discovered in so people decide to see if it will work in some way shape or form in that game instead and sometimes it does.
@@lelouch2zero ngl I just thought yall mfs went around the map doing random shit in random places hoping for the best
1:06 ?
For any new players wondering how this glitch works. First he jumps up by the door until his foot's hit box glitches through the wall into the next room where he then falls out of bounds and is teleported back in bounds. Then when he crouches up and down the momentum is built up as the game still registers him as falling. Then when he's ready to hit his character variable position changes by one into an idle T pose stance in place of the falling one in which he proceeds to force his sword to collide with the boss.
Hope this cleared things up foe newer players.
Thanks, I’ll give it a try!
@@NocturnalMelody it's patched now.
0:54 can replay this part all day lmao
0:32 was genuinely scary
"ayo..?.."
*tpose*
"AYO AYO!-"
I almost choked on air from the laughter
Now do a therapy group for Bosses abused by speedrunners.
The camera angle at 0:04 is 100% perfect for what games usually give you indoors. A little too close to the character, but not enough room to really have a far camera. Super well done camera work, Caleb!
I would play the shit out of this game
I just realized, who is holding the camera?
@@AleroaTheAlta his cameraperson.
@@nanochic Actually, he was using his powers of levitation, which you would know he had if you were a true fan.
no caleb was holding the camera
I love how easily he makes it looks like he's beating the crap out of himself.
@Ricarlo Start acting like a human
0:39 That part had me dying💀
Don't think I didn't notice Andúril. You sir, have style and class.
Imagine having a whole ass backstory and ambition as well as an over arching storyline behind your drive to destroy the world or change it for the better only to be shadowed by some random adventurer whos rolling into the wall to skip your encounter.
RDC,Lenarr, Griffy, Caleb, and Hardstop Lucas are the goats of making skits. They all gave me inspiration to start creating skits. Tell me what you think though
I make funny skits just like Caleb . I bet 100% it’ll make u laugh. If not u can come to tell me sweet
It’s the stomp with the WAAA HHHOOOOOOOOOO that absolutely gets me 😂
I’ve watched this video like 500 times and the “aye yo? AYE YO AYE YOO” kills me every time.
Being the boss in this situation would feel really awkward it’s like watching the player have a seizure doing things you don’t understand
facts
I create skits as well if y'all have time to spare
@u know me no I don’t
Gotta love the panicked
“I CANT SEE”
gets me every time
0:53 sounded like he enjoyed that, like a kid going down a slide.
Man T-posing to assert his dominance killed me😂
I can't believe that the emotionless T-bagging at the end is what got me. Speedrunners are a terrifying force to be reckoned with and this illustrates it perfectly. Hilarious and accurate, good shit dude
lol mahn, i hope you good, bro if you like this typer content, come check out my crew, we do podcasts
Lmao I laughed so hard at that like that T pose was overpowered
That infinite damage attack...reminds me the breath of the wild speed run when the player shot an arrow perfectly where the bosses eye would spawn before entering a cutscene and because the arrow was frozen in place during the time of cutscene it continuously did damage and once it ended and the fight began the boss died and went to the next phase.
Edit: I found the clip cause It played basically exactly like Caleb video lmao ruclips.net/video/F4l5AzID7xY/видео.html
That's... honestly beautiful, sometimes I wonder if sapient AI already exist but rather than going Terminator they just become speedrunners
The Boss be experiencing what it feels like to go up against King Crimson
highkey high level cinemaphotography
I can't stop laughing. I guess being a speedrunner is kind of rude to the final boss. But, we be in a hurry. LOL You know. Places to go, people to see.
Places to skip, people to skip
This looks like a comment I’d read 10 years ago
Nah... If you're speedrunning, you obviously ain't got shit to do.
Nah. I got places to be, people to kill. Can’t be wasting time on some boss
@@thatweeb2716 yup. especially when you have to back to get one item that you missed to get to the next quest, like you have 500 keys but you need the green key to open the door/gate.

I love that when the first cutscene skips you can see for a split second the guy t posing.
Man was doing so much damage question marks popped up and an infinity sign lol
The genuine fear the boss has when the player T-posed was palpable.
Damn Caleb really pulled off every wall-frag perfectly. This is an amazing run, excellent as always Caleb
@Ricarlo shut up
It's fake, you can see a splice at 0:42
They way this was put is so original and shows us how much imaginations caleb has
The fear at the T-Pose 😂 I love all the little details
