I HATE running boards. Have had 3 jeeps that came with them. Took them off right away. I'm looking at a 2018 Rebel right now and it's the 1st thing I noticed.... EFFIN RUNNING BOARDS! I like the shelf idea your buddy mentioned. Why? Just because.
Snowcat_srt yeah I really liked those but went for a more off-road set up on the Rebel plus they were a 3rd the price if you get the amp ones don’t drill the pinch weld for the lights just run it underneath
Unfortunately I haven't been approached by anyone yet. I rather just do it the way I think is best instead of shoving products in peoples faces just for content. If I get approached I will definitely give a REAL product review however.
I have the AMP research on my 2016 Sierra and they look and work awesome. The boards are aluminium by the way. They tuck nicely under the truck and you cant even notice they are there.
@@Snowcatsrt they are, installation isnt that hard, it's just lengthy if you have the right tools. Plus they're reliable, only downside is the shipping costs from the USA. I have a contact in Kuwait that might have the AMP for the Rebel, if ur interested. Send me a DM if you would like to check up on the pricing for you.
Truck definitely looks better without those boards. I installed the RBP on my ram. Survived the win to with no issue. Chose the over amp as their motors looks HD and they come with 4 motors as opposed to 2. One drawback. You have to use magnets at he door hing side but you don’t see them at all and since the instal have never even thought about it until now. These are great for my smaller passengers now and they deploy and retract with a slight amount of noise. But such is life. Be well and stay safe.
When you take those boards off you get like another 2” of lift..🤔visually. I saw some aftermarket ones that looked tuff from a company called barricade, just an FYI.
If you remove your steps for hideaway ones, make sure you PPF the lower sides of your truck, especially the rear bed sides in front of the wheels. Your front tires, even the stock ones will throw up small rocks/pebbles as you drive and they will hit the side of the truck. Your stock steps have been protecting it for now, but with the foldaway ones, they won't be while you drive.
@@Snowcatsrt Absolutely. It is a common issue on this new gen of RAM. Especially causes paint chips on the rear fender moldings, but since your Rebels are unpainted dark grey fenders, that won't be an issue. But it still will likely chip the paint around it. With the larger tires, this issue will become even more pronounced. With PPF however, you can go with any option and not worry about the chips. If you plan on rock crawling some in the future, get some rock sliders instead of the foldaways.
@@gpaje I did a quick search and found some power steps by aries that can also duo as rock guards. Not sure about the design but it might be something I want to look at. Fiberwerx also offers full funders with a "4 bulge to fit bigger tires (their website says up to "37) but unfortunately they don't have a version for Ram Box equipped trucks. Will have a look at PPF after I mount the new tires. Once again thank you for the great advice 🙏
@@gpaje I appreciate you. Comments like these really drive me to do much more. Tomorrow I'm going to put those tires on the new wheels using brake cleaner and some fire lol. Tire shops here don't know how to air up this type of setup so it's going to be an interesting experience

looking good I think I added weight when I put my new steps on but the no step look is pretty clean too
I want to do the automatic ones similar to what you had on the Laramie 👌🔥

7 in bullet proof lift would make it harder to get in!!🤘🤜 37s pre runner style would sick
Going for 35s then 4 inch lift and maybe after that 37s brotha!
@@Snowcatsrt we will all be waiting for that!🤘 Can you get any big sponsors across the pond?

That's good to know thanks for the tip. It'll be hard to choose which ones to go for
@@Snowcatsrt Anytime buddy, check the ones from RBP as well, they have some pretty good ones as well
@@DIDZ2 those two brands seem to be the ones everyone is talking about. Seems like a safe bet for either

Really appreciate that and would love to install it myself! Where do I DM you if anything?

Are the running boards plastic or metal? Will check them out thanks for the advice man
They are metal. I’m about your stature and I can bounce in them easily. There are many videos for the product and the company backs up every purchase
@@solosd3 awesome I will definitely check them out especially since you already have them and you're happy with the purchase

Awesome! Will check them out.
If you want to check them out let me know and I will bring the car to you for a look.
Would love to do the same but would be too much trouble for my kids to get in! Looking forward to seeing the lift
yeah I totally get that. Lift kit is apparantly in the country going though customs so hopefully next week we can start installing!
Did you already get rid of the steps? I need a set.
Where did you get the strip light on the front bumper??
It's from Rigid

I would love to see you do the rear bumble from addictive desert designs
I do have the rear bumper from ADD 😉
Haha for some reason I didn’t realize you did lol
Where did you find the bumper?
ADD
Can you link to those tires?
Just Google Maxtrek Mud Trac you'll find them easily. I never heard of these tires before buying them ;)
Looks good, change the grill out
Thanks man! I kinda like the stock grill but will look into it in the future 👊
Amazing transformation! Keep going! 👍💗
Thanks babe!
I like that look “more better”!
🤣
Awesome
Thanks man 🙏
