    fished there when I was 20 and I'm 56 now. they didn't have the gates then so you could go on the beach before sunrise at any spot. I have many good memories about fishing and the sunrise on that beach. Also had a small boat for a short time and used to go out through Indian river inlet when it was calm enough and chase the schools of bunker to catch 15 lb blues. Weighed in a couple and got sytations and an arm patch for those. Nice memories and maybe I'll get back there again. Your video sure makes me want to go back.

    When it's incoming tide the tide rips about 14 knots on the top and 23 knots on the bottom. I live down there and after the storm there was 3 feet of sand covering the road and about a foot of water on top my dad works for DNREC and it took them 4 days to get it open with gigantic bulldozers that are the same as those tractors pulling plows but they have tracks. The most common thing is using a heavy bucktail casting it up current and letting it drift down near the bottom. Last spring during our bluefish blitz 12-20 lb blue fish were the average and they bit anything you through. Sick video btw

    First of all, great videos! Right where you were, north ocean side off the jetty, about 40 years ago, people were slamming nice sized flounder one after the other. This past Saturday, May 13th, 2017, I was there to observe and not much going on there but saw a lot of people on the other side. So I went to the south side where they were, just before the jetty goes into the ocean and they were NAILING big bluefish on the outgoing tide - nearly every cast, using 1 1/2 oz. bucktails and zoom flukes or whatever, mostly red or pink. We used to use plastic red worms that worked very well. The blues weren't fat but some were well over 30 inches.

    I watch your videos and really enjoy them. Im in ocean city MD and do a lot of fishing here. one thing that bothered me is how you kept the 32 and gave it to your friend. I just don't like the fact that you caught two keepers but instead of releasing, you gave it away.

      +Reed W glad you "usually" like my vids! I caught 3 keepers total that day, I kept a 28" for myself, released a 28", then gave the 32" to the guy who had just showed up.

    Ever try togging there in the winter? Im wondering where I should go fishing for the next 3 months... besides catfishing lol

    • @ChrisMcIntee
      @ChrisMcIntee  8 лет назад

      +viper2788 Ive tried, its not for me! So deep, such strong current, very difficult to tog fish. You have a giant mass of stripers that hasnt yet made its way south of lewes, so you might get lucky and have some decent bass fishing, like in this vid, for some time this winter
