So this is an absolute comedy movie and a great film for This holiday we think so here we are with Bridesmaids from 2011. Annie (Kristen Wiig) is a single woman whose own life is a mess, but when she learns that her lifelong best friend, Lillian (Maya Rudolph), is engaged, she has no choice but to serve as the maid of honor. Though lovelorn and almost penniless, Annie, nevertheless, winds her way through the strange and expensive rituals associated with her job as the bride's go-to gal. Determined to make things perfect, she gamely leads Lillian and the other bridesmaids down the wild road to the wedding. This is too funny from start to finish an underrated movie FIR SURE!!!

This and mean girls were the only films I ever went and paid to see multiple times. Genius cast, genius writing. The unsung hero of this film is the dad who isn’t paying for all that sh*t

Kristen Wig is my favorite women Actor/comedian (maybe share the top 1 with Kate McKinnon), and you can feel the friendship between Maya and her. Thats why their conversation feels so natural, and funny.

The director Paul Feig is the Air Marshall and married to Melissa McCarthy the woman who took all the dogs! Sadly #RIP Jill Clayburgh who played the mom Oscar nominee for An Unmarried Woman.
