Cool! Nice to know that my engine will happily do 325k kms. Is the auto gearbox also holding up well? I have been having electrical engine problems for the last few months, so I might have to replace the engine control module which sucks, but I reckon it'll be worth it, because when it works it is just incredible. I have thought about getting a V40 CC with 2.0 5cyl petrol and AWD, but every time I drive the C30 on a nice road I remember why I really don't want to sell it. The electrical problem if you're wondering is the absolute throttle position which gets stuck at 93% half the time I drive.

The only problems were a suspension spring that was broken. need a new drive shaft, have strong vibrations. and a deer was in my way. Repairs cost €3700. I'm also very gentle with the car. I hope you can solve your problem so that you can continue to enjoy your C30 🤝🫡👍🙂
Haha thanks 😂 I just can't help it, it just happens 😊 I also just got the DJI Osmo Pocket 3, and it is really a great tool for a one man team, and I am hoping to shoot some decent rollers with it eventually, and I want to chase the car with the DJI FPV for some unique angles.

Yeah, the only downside is not having optical zoom. Apart from that, I would genuinely say that it rivals my a6400 with a decent lens for half the price! And I got the creator combo with a battery handle, and DJI's wireless Mic 2, which is one of the best lavalier Mic's on the market. Definitely a lot for your money.
They are not any more likely to leak oil or coolant than any other car, so I don't know where you got that from. But they have been known to leak water in through the sunroof drains. As long as you keep the drains free from leaves and stuff, you should be all good. There was also a run of them that could leak through the windshield, but I don't know exactly what model years and that was a universal issue on many cars from that same period because of some environmentally friendly sealant they tried using or something like that that if I'm not very much mistaken. My first C30 fell victim to this. But all I needed was to have it refitted with new sealant.
@@VinnesAuto I'm looking to get some SL01 wheels on my C30, but I've been warned about caliper clearance on the front :( - if you get change, could you measure from the brake disc to the spokes of the wheel? I have the 320mm calipers at the moment, but I also have the E38 Kit to go on, and I don't want to run into issues. Greatly appreciate it!
Nice! I'll measure if I find some time, I currently have the 300mm, but I have the 320mm to go on soon, and at the moment I have like several CMs of clearance in all directions. I think the SL01s generally have good clearance, but of course depends on the size rim you go for. They definitely have much better clearance than volvo's 18" wheels.

Well, the stock one is the good one if you have the later version with hands-free and or Bluetooth media. Does what you need, doesn't do what you don't need. (Like distracting you.) If you're missing Bluetooth media but have aux, I recommend a Bluetooth adapter, specifically the mpow mbr2. But if you're sure that you want a touchscreen, then I would put the alg performance head unit as your best bet. There is also one called Bluepower which is the only option for full integration, but it is expensive.
Ive been thinking of getting a rubber splitter for my c30 but have been a bit on the fence, would you recommend it? Great car btw, Ive fallen in love with mine :]
I was unsure too, especially as I had to screw it into the bumper. But in the end I do like how it looks, and the mounting holes you make when installing it really aren't a big deal. Worst case you can just fill them with tec7 and use a touch up pen on them. If you like the look of mine and other's, then I would say go for it. Some of them are even stick on, but they're not as good quality as those that require hardware. I literally just used self tapping screws and large washers. It can also genuinely protect the front bumper by a bit if your car is lowered.
If you want, I have an unlisted video about the headlights from when i painted them, at that time I also installed halo LEDs, but they have been troublesome so I removed them later. You can find the video by heading to my channel and checking the "Volvo C30" playlist. The video is called "halo install guide" or something like that. It's not the best video, but it might be helpful. If you have further questions, I'm always happy to help!

@@VinnesAuto this engines are hit or miss , some examples would do 400kkm while others crack blocks even below 100k . Hope the best for yours :D

Do these come AWD?
No, but it is possible to swap in the Haldex AWD from a v50 or s40.
