The fact that he was animated walking into frame to say ‘Eh’ instead of just shifting the camera to a center frame is sublime. Someone spent energy on that and i love it for it.
This video has been blessed by the algorithm. (Was I the only one here expecting the entire sidewalk to collapse under her feet and split open into a huge chasm?)
Having worked with the public a *lot* through my various jobs and two specific careers... I don't have words to describe how accurate this is and more importantly how it speaks to me personally.
Around the corner of the street where I live, there's a sidewalk closed sign exactly like this, except it's been there for the 3 years that I've lived here and nobody is going to fix the fucking sidewalk. The ground there is utterly destroyed but it's still better than walking on the busy street.
I just like how the animation seems like something you'd see from a tv show but the audio sounds like it was recorded from a phone. The juxtaposition of the quality between the two makes the video better
I like how Minecraft Alex falling on her face is one of the first things I see in my recommended. It was also made in 2011, which explains why it's just.. here.
Honestly if she had been paying attention to the crack she could have easily avoided tripping over it as it wasn't overly large or deep. A warning sign cautioning people to be careful over that specific area of the sidewalk would have been more useful. Or maybe just a temporary fix like a plank covering the gap could have mitigated the danger.
As someone who does road work for a living this is unbelievably true. For walk ways we surround then in caution tape but the biggest threat is people in cars. We've had pretty drive right through all of it without even acknowledging up. Major pain in the ass
I’ve seen so many animations on RUclips with some horrible twist that I half expected him to attack her or for her to just explode on contact with the ground
I know this video is 10 years old but in case anyone didn’t notice at 0:25. Shouldn’t there be a road rather than a field as this frame is the worker’s perspective towards her? All the best.
@@sicken8011 That wouldn't change anything. People have successfully sued over being scalded by hot drinks that are _labeled_ as hot drinks before, because lawyers WILL find loopholes to back their case. That's what they're paid for.

A warning sign cautioning people to be careful over that specific area of the sidewalk would have been more useful.
Or maybe just a temporary fix like a plank covering the gap could have mitigated the danger.
Or maybe people should be able to follow simple directions advising them to follow even simpler procedures that'll keep them safe.
Nothing at all would have been more helpful because nobody was paid 20$ an hour to put that sign there and pretend to dig a hole for 8 hours.
