Welp, this video was supposed to be released on Friday the 13th, but the powers that be didn't like that I was releasing something timely.

I have seen Gutterballs. I was mostly bored with it, tbh.
Yeah, it is pretty graphic but the shock value wanes out real fast.
It was more of a warning to stay away because of how bad it is. Usually those movies are bad fun, but that one is more...bad bad.
I think they missed an opportunity by not having the store getting sucked into another dimension Poltergeist-style xD Would not have made sense but would have been cool imo…
Jake reminds me of a few unlikeable horror movie characters I've seen in some other cheap horror movies. His personality to his story literally reminds me of some characters. Also I guess making movies about famous stores is the new movie trend now?

I'm not sure where you are but I googled it and it says something called 'Pluto TV' has it to watch for free. I also saw in the search results dailymotion (?) has it, too. I don't know what either of those places are, so tread lightly.

I actually have a soft spot for this film. It's VERY corny and dumb, but reminded me of the Goosebumps show and Are You Afraid of the Dark that I grew up with.
That’s really what I was hoping for. (I just started watching through Are you afraid of the dark, I was waaayyy too young to watch it when it was a thing. I want to go through both shows eventually.)
The thing is, from what I’ve seen at least goosebumps and AYAOTD have a consistency to the stories whereas here it seemed like they were starting to concoct a plot but bailed halfway through. I honestly thought the grandma was going to have a bigger role, too.
I was expecting it to be revealed the little girl was the actual witch, not the matron. Just the way she stood up when Windsor first appeared made it seem like there was something there.
I would’ve loved to see the animatronics terrorizing the town. I think it would’ve been fun to see how creative they got.
I actually had an idea I recorded but cut since the video would’ve been too long. 😖
I know this is none of my business, but at several points in this review you seemed to be on the verge of tears. Was that just acting like "ugh, this movie's idiocy makes me cry", or were you having a bad day when you filmed?
Ha, no it’s just acting. You might be picking up on “I’m feeling uncomfortably hot” as I turn off my fan and ac when I film so there’s no hiss sound. It has been unseasonably warm this year. I’m usually good at hiding when I’m hot, but I guess it slipped in this video. 😭

I lost my dad to suicide, and I have a stepfather that treated me like shit my whole childhood, so I get Jake’s situation, however his stepfather doesn’t even seem like that bad a guy, and jake just gets upset about decorations he’s despicably unlikable. The fact that this is how the filmmakers see children that are going through similar issues like this insults the hell out of me, screw this movie and the writers. I don’t mess around with this, if you’re going to talk about situations like Jake’s you need to understand what the hell you’re talking about
I actually had a rant very similar to yours I ended up cutting because it got too serious but I agree wholeheartedly.

I have a hard time sitting through a bad movie twice. I usually will watch it one time through, then think about it, then rewatch it after a few hours or a day and take notes. Then when I edit, I’m kind of rewatching it a third time, albeit in sections. The amount of times I had to rewind cause I started playing a game on my phone from sheer boredom probably added a few hours! 😂
