Mario was always an ego builder for me. After other instructors showed me my weak areas Mario always seemed to be the instructor that ended up walking me through something and when I performed well he was right there with the atta boys. My first trip to Gunsite was supposed to be for my wife and I took the class just to be with her. After all a bad azz Reservation officer and competitive shooter what could they teach me? Whew was I ever blown away by what I did not know.@@pewpewtactical
I have had over 10 courses there. It was not until I went to Academi/ sig sour that I learned how to shoot. Some things they teach extremely well, such as foot work, identifying targets well. Second in a week course you shoot less than a thousand round!! More like 800. Most instructors never shoot a single round.@@pewpewtactical

Gunsite has its place. On pistol accuracy, they stink.
