Great list and mostly pretty affordable plugins too. I always recommend beginners to get a good reverb and a good synth first because I feel most stock plugins are a bit lacking in these categories. Personal choices would be Valhalla Vintage Verb and Serum. I really have to try Pigments soon though. Recently got Shaperbox and I have used it on every song since then.

@nics8040 that’s a good question, even if budget isn’t an issue. I think Pigments 5 is the better plugin. Not by a ton, but I think it offers more features and is sort of all you need. However, since Serum is older and more popular, there are a lot more tutorials and preset packs compared to Pigments. So if you’re in need of a ton of tutorials and preset packs, choose Serum, but if not, than I think Pigments has the edge.

It’s a nice list, buddy! I would have Serum, Soundtoys’ Effect Rack, Cenozoix Compressor, Pro Q3 and Serato Sample on my list.
