High Context Communication vs Low Context Communication

High Context Communication vs Low Context Communication is an important factor when we live in a cross-cultural situation. Often a person from a low context culture does not really understand a person from a high context culture and vice versa. This can lead to misunderstanding and conflict. We want to look at both communication styles and try to explain the characteristics of each style.
