I made this yesterday and was easy peasy and delicious!!! One question, could I make the batter more by doubling it to make a thicker coffee cake with the same amount of crumble? I think you could one and a half times the recipe and use the same amount of crumble. if you double it you may only have enough crumble for the top. Hope this helps

This _looks_ delicious but I have a question. Is there a conversion table for weight, instead of volume? I have NO IDEA if I even have enough ingredients, especially the butter! Pounds and ounces, or grams/ml, or in fact any standardised weight system, would help!
@@TheCooknShareThanks for being aware of the issue. The problem with using google is that I don't know how accurate the charts are. I often find differences between one chart's conversion of, say, dark brown sugar, and the conversion in another chart. Another problem is things like nuts. A US recipe may well say - for example - half a cup of ground almonds. If you only have whole almonds there's no way of finding out if you have enough, unless the weight is also given!

If I cook this in my Dutch oven can I expect a softer bread? I really want to throw it in there and see what happens. I probably will and report my results
@@TheCooknShare so for some reason my batter was thinner, the only difference I can think of is that I used creamed room temperature butter... I'm guessing due to the thickness of the dough my crumb all fell to the bottom. The bread was very soft, and everything tasted great.
