Thank you so so much for this video. For a very long time I could not draw because with my vision I was intimidated by pencil because it's so hard to see. I now have a drawing tablet where I can actually see what I am doing. I an zoom into areas and make lines any size I want and practice without waisting paper. After watching how simple this is to do (practice will make better) I am starting to get my confidence back.
tbh i wouldn't have known i had something for doodling if i didn't did that art project when i was 13- it was strictly abt doodling and after doing that (tbh i dint think much of it cause i thought i wasn't rlly artistic) but then as time goes i try to include doodling in almost every single art project so- yea i like doodling and i kinda am a perfectionist - so doodling just makes me more calm and i also have more patience for doodles than humans - SARAH THIS VID HELP ME SO MUCH TO IMPROVE AND LEARN NEW DESIGNS ... yk u can kinda add mandala designs too-
What I like best about your channel is the fact that your instruction is so clear that even a beginner like myself could do it. You also instill confidence so at least I will give it a try

Absolutely lovely. That is exactly what I need. I crave to draw and paint for so long. I tried different styles and mediums, I make good copies of other paintings and realistic copies of photos, but it doesn't bring joy, it feels like senseless and useless hard work. And when I try to create something own or draw from my mind it feels like I'm stuck. There are some strong blocks on my creativity that don't let to actualize my need to create. Probably, one of the biggest blocks is a fear of mistakes. I tried to paint/draw in a sketchy loose impressionistic manner and it still didn't help. Now I know where to start. Thank you.
Fear of mistakes is definitely something that will hold you back. I’ve talked about it a lot on my channel. Aim for progress, not perfection- and remember that mistakes will help you learn just as much as a successful piece of art will!

You can apply any of my other videos to coloring them in- choosing colors, then blending some nice gradients. Let me know if you’d like some specific recommendations!

Here's what I need. I've broken my dominant arm (badlyy) docs say at most I'll get back 80%. 4 month recovery time at best. How can I draw with my non dominant hand. Tips? Tricks?
I’m so sorry to hear that! I don’t have any specific recommendations but I’m sure there would be advice if you did a specific search online on how to draw with your non dominant hand. Good luck and I wish you a speedy recovery!
