Great review of this product! Lots of information was covered especially using the app. I watched other reviews and they really didn't go over the app like you. Have you heard if Vanguard has mentioned anything about maybe increasing the voltage output like thru the app IF that's possible? Thanks

Seems like most of the features are only available through the app. I guess that’s fine unless the company goes under and the app disappears. I think I would prefer built-in handles on the side of the unit versus that small handle in the middle.

I laughed so hard... when you were demonstrating the UPS function, RUclips decided to place an ad at that exact moment. You unplugged from house power and my TV screen went black for a second and then an ad played. Timing was perfect. lol
At any rate another great review. I was excited about this unit until you showed the AC voltage output at 108. That's a deal killer for me.

Hi Brian. Why the dislike for lithium ion? Because of the shorter life span or are there other reasons?
Hi Grant. Mainly the shorter cycle count, but they are also not as safe as say a LifePo4 battery chemistry. Li-Ion can have thermal runaway and actually catch fire. Not common at all, but simply put, compared to LifePo4 they are just not as safe.

Any updates I saw some insane discounts of a clone version and I also had a difficult time getting in touch w them I gave up van power which seems to be Zendure anyways if app is going to stop working it’s a big problem to continue connectivity w unit to have the advance options not available on the unit . One big thing is I saw it about more than a year ago in Amazon and now it’s not but Zendure still selling it on their page so yeah why or maybe want to avoid so much returns it’s just a thing that is happening but maybe in small units not all cause it seems like a great unit but customer support has to be great speedily if it’s cost was 1599$ now 1000$ .
This is a warning for potential buyers. I want to share my experiences buying from this company (if you can call it that). This is one of the shadiest company around. Don't expect any after-sales support at all. Therefore no warranty! This is like a one man (couple at best) show based in L.A area importing these from china. These Chinese individuals do not pick up phones, do not respond to voicemails, do not respond to emails. Evidently they also have comprehension issues or that could also be an act, along with the robotic responses. Like the other RUclips reviewers have discussed, they still haven't fixed the app interface and its still buggy. The unit itself has many quirks. As it stands this guy/company has completely dropped all communications with me and i am at a loss on how to proceed from here.
I will agree 100% after owning this unit a while now. My actual unit still works great, but the app is a mess and I can’t get in contact with anyone anymore. Very shady. I don’t know if the company selling these same units under a different name are any better either.
@@GearGadgetReviews Lesson learnt man, I think people should stay away from crowdfunded companies until they are couple of years into actual manufacturing.
I wouldn't get this power station if I were you. i've had one for a few months, it has never worked. Ever. It has never held the advertised amount of charge. I ran a 9w fan and it wouldn't even hold it on all night. The customer service is terrible. If you're reading this, get a different power station.

wasted money. After four months it stopped working completely. It's a shame to throw it away, but I have to. Stay away from this crap. And don't listen to this chatterbox
