Welcome to a nice summer afternoon stroll in Vienna, the capital of Austria. This walk begins in the beautiful Volksgarten, which is a famous puplic park in Vienna and is located opposite the Austrian Parliament. I walk along the Ringstrasse, stop by the votive church (Votivkirche) and stroll down smaller, older streets and alleys in Vienna's city centre.

Beautiful video quality and smooth walking. You’re the best, anbax. Take a left at the Votiv Kirche and that is where i lived for a year (in 1971). I wonder what today’s rent would be? I will say that the Votiv Kirche looks so nice after it is “cleaned up.” For years, it looked a little shabby. I hope that one day they will take down that advertising in front of the church. What is that big pipe by the park? Thanks again, anbax. You are capturing the Viennese out and about on a beautiful sunny day…makes all of us want to go back soon.
That pipe is probably drainage for underground construction works (new U5 underground line)
Hi John, hope you are doing well in the States. I would say the rent around the Votive Church will be unaffordable for many. A very beautiful, but also expensive area. The pipe you see in the video is a temporary collection pipe for the groundwater. This means that the water from the construction site for the subway expansion is channeled into the Danube Canal.

At 14:15, is it the underground tram station schottentor? 😂 if I remembered correctly I had a hard time to find this station, I thought the station at ground level, I couldn't find it, then it took time to find a person in a hotel so he told me, it is underground 😅
