Lets be honest here, it’s not realistic to an accurate planet impact, but it was strong enough to knock out Goku and ignite a volcano but little to no casualties. I like to believe it’s a valid feat to scale the cast since I like to see anyone else try to survive getting flung by a shockwave and see it that scales to your durability. (XD) Q3. Super Saiyan and Kaiokenx100? A: I like to obviously clarify that I’m aware the Psuedo form is not THE 1-to-1 Form Toriyama created. I’m simply saying the form would likely have a similar form multiplier to the official form with the only difference being the design. Also, considering x50 multiplier was not enough to scare Lord Slug but a x100 can, then its totally acceptable for Goku to use a massive Kaioken amp even if the finalized film didn’t have him say it out loud. Even in DBS, Goku doesn’t always says Kaiokenx20, yet Whis has stated during TOP to be using his peak power. Kaiokenx100 is a similar case. Q4. Slug’s speed and giant form seems unsatisfactory Numbs. A: I’m aware. There was little I can say about his speed from feats perspective but by lore, you can hype him up however you wish. I’m also iffy on the giant form if he does get a power up or not cuz DBZ: Super Hero throws a wrench on that but then other forms that just increases muscles show it to be a power up. I personally think it goes to show how insanely powerful Prime Slug was if he can rival SSJ1 without any multipliers. Q5. Why do you use Koyama’s opinions to debunk and support your claims? A: Let me be clear that just because he has an authority on the series for being the main writer of these films, doesn’t mean everything he says is 100% accurate. Obviously, it’s a case by case situation. That’s why I heavily emphasize the contradictions between movie villain scaling and continuity connections since Koyama goes against his own logic, yet people don’t realize the inconsistency of validating AND debunking everything he says, just to say Slug MUST be a certain level strong. I hope this at least make people to really think more logically than to assume all sources or authority is valid or invalid. I hope they maybe make them a different color if they do. Like since Piccolo is pretty Dragon Ball colored the others could be Dark Dragon Ball covered or Black Star Dragon Ball colored. I was hoping for a different color for Cooler on anyone of the Avatars in DBH or DBX since Toriyama stated Frieza specifically chose gold to mock the SSJ transformation.

Let's be fair, False Super Saiyan I've always thought of as a midway point for actual Super Saiyan that needs crisis but the user is not quite able to handle the full power yet. But nit to the point of fully detransforming right away like Gohan, nor going ballistic like Broly or Kale, nor being forcefully suppressed like Z Broly.
Once you're done with all the movies/non-cannon characters, you should go into the cannon characters within the movies and games. You have little glimpses into your thoughts about super scaling as well
I am so grateful for this video it explains so much to me right off the bat I was always questioning the tree of Life movie and what time zone did it take place but if he made the movie based off of the multi universe ideal that explains a lot
I think Goku and Krillin didn't fly at their mach speed because they wanted to hit the meteor without wasting too much energy. While in the previous movie they went all out to stop Dr. W. Even if we don't want to scale the previous movies. Regarding the Frieza thing, I think it doesn't really matter. Most the Frieza statements are by characters who never saw Frieza being serious or have yet to see. Like King Kai in that continuaty only knows about first form Frieza's power as we have seen in the show and manga, he was always astonished how much stronger Frieza became each time he survived or transformed. I always assumed that Gigantification gives the users physical strength in exchange for speed and other things. Like an Oozaru (even without the 10 times boost) would probably perform better than Piccolo who increases his size. Changing ones size only matters depending on how the character fights or uses it in fights, like in OG Dragon Ball, Goku's small size often was an advantage to avoid enemy hits and bigger enemies are easier targets. From my view point, Piccolo is not as experienced in fighting with his larger size unlike Slug who showed more creativity with what he is given making most out of Namekian abilities. Piccolo seems to focus on patching up weaknesses and fights more like an earthling, relying rarely on Namekian traits like expanding his arms and size manipulation. I am sad that Goku's false Super Saiyan never appeared in a game so far. Such a shame it get referred so often.
I want him to return if only so I can see more of the cool uniforms his soldiers had, Goku or someone else like Goten or Pan take that unique Super Saiyan Form Goku had which would make it viablr for the games and maybe it could be used as a comparison between both Piccolo's Development and Slugs)

Originally Goku was supposed to have black hair in a super Saiyan form play toriyama didn't feel like coloring it in that's why when he was fighting Frieza his hair turned gold along with his energy whenever he is fighting slug his energy turned gold put his hair remained black that's because of that movie a toriyama took the time and coloring in his hair when in the show when he's fighting Frieza he didn't feel like taking the time and that's why when Goku turns super Saiyan his hair turns gold

Meaning both times he had a power increase relative to what he was without that form. I've watched the video fully and can say that was pretty good (like always) and I do like the little intro things you do at the beginning. The editing is always pretty good and never distracting either. The rest is pretty much just my thoughts. I’m having fun catching up on everything I’ve missed in one go so I hope I don’t say anything that was already touched on a dozen times (at least without adding anything new, fun, informative or interesting). If I don’t feel free to skip or just not respond to any of those parts. It is a bit late so pardon any typos. I think if I had to choose between whether or not Lord Slug referenced the anime or Tree of Might only, I'd go Tree of Might. Reasons being, the colors of the characters clothes in Bulma's memories do more closely resemble what happened in the Tree of Might overall as opposed to the original series. Although Bulma's attire specifically does resemble what she was wearing in the anime more but again it's more closely what she's wearing in that movie. The only thing that wins me over (besides the similar hairstyle) is that wouldn't make sense for Puar would've not to be depicted but it would for Gohan since it'd make sense since he was flying with Haiya-Dragon/Icarus who was in both movies. Of course there'd still be minor inconsistencies that could either "imperfect memory" for a realistic answer or just a simple inconsistency. I also noticed how Daizenshuu 6 refers to FSSJ as manifested "Super Saiyan power" for Lord Slug but also says Cooler's Revenge is the first appearance of SSJ in the movies. I agree with it being as strong as SSJ so nothing of note there; just kind of interesting the term would later be used for a “form” that was never intended be a form though. When it comes to the power relation between Cooler and Slug, I think one easy answer is just that Cooler's final form would just need to be stronger than slug. Kind of like, for example, if Android 13 was supposed to be stronger than Meta-Cooler, it'd at least have to be as Super Android 13. There is a possible interpretation that could be used under the circumstances that Koyama's interpretation (as opposed only what was known about) at the time and that he was still trying to have Movies 4 and 5 as hard to contradict as possible, then we could simply say Slug could simply be stronger than Final Form Frieza and Cool would be stronger than Mecha Frieza, this explaining Goku and Cooler’s difference in what is considered “surpassing Frieza.” But of that’s just an alternate way to look at things. Below is just logic that could be use to “justify” or explain it so no need to read it if you don’t want to since it’s all just in a headcanon-y way.
We know Koyama at least somewhat tried to make things fit in with the anime but one way I think he tried to "tactically write" things in a way to where it'd be harder for the anime to contradict the movie. I think an example of this would be how every time Cooler says something about Goku having defeated Frieza, Goku never actually acknowledges it and gives a straight answer as to whether or not he actually killed him. Luckily for him, it wasn't Goku who finished him off. Another in Lord Slug how it's hard to know how much Goku would know about Frieza and Namekians considering he doesn't react much to the information aside from never acting too confused. King Kai does say "Unless I miss my guess, not even Frieza, or perhaps even a Super Saiyan can stand up to him!" So it does sound like present tense is being used here imply Frieza might be alive, but because "Super Saiyan" aka Goku is added to that sentence and is still alive, it wouldn't make sense to use past tense. This only further “obfuscates” the “history" of the world Lord Slug takes place in (which I guess can be said for every movie being a movie). It could either be prior to encountering Frieza, or Frieza having been defeated through alternative means. The only significance of this is since Slug's stronger than Frieza but like you said, it's not known which form. Though the closest chapter released 3 months prior would be the chapter where Final Form Frieza appears which is interestingly has it's title reference that it was essentially about a "Super Saiyan" fighting a Super Frieza which is very similar to the concept of a "Super Saiyan" fighting a Super Namekian. Of course SSJ and 100% (whether you count it as an extension of Final Form Frieza or a separate form)

We know Koyama at least somewhat tried to make things fit in with the anime but one way I think he tried to "tactically write" things in a way to where it'd be harder for the anime to contradict the movie. I think an example of this would be how every time Cooler says something about Goku having defeated Frieza, Goku never actually acknowledges it and gives a straight answer as to whether or not he actually killed him. Luckily for him, it wasn't Goku who finished him off.
Another in Lord Slug how it's hard to know how much Goku would know about Frieza and Namekians considering he doesn't react much to the information aside from never acting too confused. King Kai does say "Unless I miss my guess, not even Frieza, or perhaps even a Super Saiyan can stand up to him!" So it does sound like present tense is being used here imply Frieza might be alive, but because "Super Saiyan" aka Goku is added to that sentence and is still alive, it wouldn't make sense to use past tense.
This only further “obfuscates” the “history" of the world Lord Slug takes place in (which I guess can be said for every movie being a movie). It could either be prior to encountering Frieza, or Frieza having been defeated through alternative means. The only significance of this is since Slug's stronger than Frieza but like you said, it's not known which form.
Though the closest chapter released 3 months prior would be the chapter where Final Form Frieza appears which is interestingly has it's title reference that it was essentially about a "Super Saiyan" fighting a Super Frieza which is very similar to the concept of a "Super Saiyan" fighting a Super Namekian. Of course SSJ and 100% (whether you count it as an extension of Final Form Frieza or a separate form)
