Theres a story of a masterclass. And a student played a famous virtuosic piece. And the master teacher guest pianist. After listening, said. Can I get your fingerings for that?
Before practicing in rhythms I usually rearrange those kinds of passages into chords. That gives the fingers more security as they exactly know where to „land“. Does anybody do that, too?
Right, because hard work and dedication is what earned them the skills and is what's paying off. That's why god won't save them, god was never a factor
So when we practice a (regular rhythm) passage by dotting rhythms (both ways), playing in other rhythms eg triplets etc, is the technical name for that 'playing in absolute rhythms'? I heard a (good) pianist explaining that as a practice technique in a session recently and he called it 'syncopation', which I wondered whether was the wrong term for this (I am aware what syncopation means normally by the way!). It would be good to know what the technical term is for this way of practicing.
It IS A LITERAL IMPOSSIBILITY for god to be around to help anyone due to the FACT that he does NOT exist!!!!!! Your tutorials, on the other hand, are EXTREMELY useful and helpful!!!! Julie Gill, Glasgow, Scotland.

The true GOD JEHOVAH definitely exists, everytime I play the piano, I am happily reminded of this, the creator of our wonderfull bodies and the awesome brain 🧠, I love playing the appassionata also, though haven't played it for a while, definitely going back to it soon.
Bro 😂😂. He just plays it slowly to make it look easy but yk even a professional pianist who is an expert needs atleast 4-5 months to practice and master this whole piece ( Sonata no.23 Beethoven) . If you see this piece on synthesia or any pianist performance you would clearly feel the anxiety and difficulty to play this piece
Only pianists can use fingering as a verb without so much as a blink
You ever seen someone who plays a wind instrument?

His RUclips workshop was fantastic.
Yes!! Dotted rhythm practice has changed me life!!!
This is my favourite Beethoven Sonata. As it builds up to this passage, it's one of the most exciting and challenging of all the piece.
What's the piece name please?

'Appasionata' Sonata no.23
That is the best advice regarding fast passages
Rhythms always help gain crystal clear accuracy and control
THE PIECE NAME IS 'Appasionata' Sonata no.23

Does anybody do that, too?
Yep
Yes.
Indeed
I do it sometimes.
Absolutely!
Changing up the rhythms while practicing runs helps so much, I couldn’t believe it when I first learned about it. 🎉
Can we appreciate how good that RUclips Short Loop was?
The absolute rythms are godlike when learning long passages
Nowhere near needing this advice on my piano journey except that I just adore his playing.
My teacher introduced me to dotted rhythm practice to get passages more even under the fingers, very very useful
This is probably how good my grandma was in the old days🙃

I am bookmarking this video for my next life, when I attempt this sonata.
Exactly so! It always yields results!
I am all for splitting that passage up between both hands. And lots of other passages of Beethoven's
My piano teacher let me practice that - ❤with first the all notes as Akkords
❤
Superb !! Mind-blowing.
OMG, he sounds like Alaster Moody from Harry Potter. LMAO! But the advice is excellent!
I was about to comment the same thing I close my eyes and see him lol
He has small hands with pudgy fingers! 🤩 that gives me more inspiration and confidence than anything else. I curse my hands daily.
He got the epic muscle through his decades of piano tho.
Hahaha great advice from this pianist
"Rubatando tudo" melhor expressão kkkkkkkk

Never to fear, Beethoven is a performance. God saves the soul
