1. If you look up “pocket” in the dictionary, Henrik and Aron’s pictures show up.
2. They might be the only people on the planet (Jonah included) who make me break out in a sweat when I’m just sitting here. Everything is so intensely awesome.
3. I love how much fun they have together.
4. I CANNOT WAIT for you to do the rest of this particular project. Especially “Coffee Break is Over” because SHEESH!!!! (“Old Armando Had a Farm” is my favorite, though. It’s just so goofy but so dope at the same time.)
5. I need someone who looks at me the way Henrik looks at Aron.

Simon Petrén almost always mix and master their stuff. I pretty much consider him the bands fourth member. Such a great sound!👍🏻👌🏻 also, the goofy stuff in the credits for this one was under ”additional musicians”. 😉

Man, as a previous drummer of like 13 years… What Arron’s doing there with the stick hitting the side of the snare *as* it hits the skin too, I believe that’s also called a rim shot… but yeah, NOT easy, and he’s doing it consistently, and it basically creates a snappier sound (as well as wears down the stick a whole lot quicker 😂). I’m envious, even now after not playing for some 7 years or something, that he can do it *so* effortlessly. Daaamn, dude! 😂 👌🏼 🕺🏻

Love this one from Aron and Henrik. I actually heard this in my head today when I'd overslept and had to run for the bus. And when I had sat down I realized I'd left my glasses back home, and then I probably looked like Aron did at the very end of the video.

"It sounds like the bass is doubled with something.." Yes! If u listen to the Cory Wong Podcast on spotify (eg) there is an interview with Henrik about bass sounds were he say that he normally makes a MIDI double of the bass (just imagine transcribing that into midi... :P) and double it with some deep Synth sound to crank up the lower frequencies. :)

love your reactions to Dirty Loops! 'Rock You' soon..? One thing I think would improve the channel is when you react to music videos make them full screen. Then crop yourself and be in the corner. Then people can see you full size and still watch the video.
Funny, I started out doing it that way then after cruising around looking at other reaction videos I saw the video small and the reactor was big. Hmmm. I’ll have to play around with it. Maybe my initial instincts were right after all. 😃
The bass sound is so great because they put half a dozen mics on the practice amp and another pointed directly at the DI box, clearly.
More seriously: I'm *very* curious how they mic the drum kit. Aron's snare and tom sounds are just immaculate.... maybe it's great head selection and tuning? Maybe it's careful micing and production? Probably both...?

As you all might have noticed, one of 3 combattants is not there. Why, cause he was on a Coffe Break -> check that title, same Songs For Lovers spin off. Ehmm, why does the name Richard Bona come to my head too???
The paragraph at the end about the urban dictionary always made me laugh until someone told me why they included that in there.

I think "Songs for Lovers" might just be the name of the set of songs though, as they still posted the stuff on the DL official page and social media channels. I also think (I might be wrong here, so please correct me if I am) that the Songs for Lovers were included on the Phoenix EP in Japan. So, still DL, but also a bit of a goofy side project as all gigs were cancelled last year?

Can I make a suggestion? I love your channel. Your reactions are amazing. But your vocal mic is so shrill I can hardly listen to it. I mean it’s painful. Sounds like it’s clipping and the treble is maxed. Fix that and I’ll live On your channel. You get out and you get this band. 😎
