You'd be surprised what abusive men get away with in terms of custody in family court. Many courts are very reluctant to remove custody from fathers in totality.
My father was like this- he terrorized my family, took care of himself while we went hungry, he beat the hell out of us. He broke 9 of my mother’s ribs and her spirit. This a-hole deserves everything coming to him.
Thank you everyone who responded so kindly- things like this bring it all back. The terror, the anger, the sadness of watching my mother suffer so much. As a kid , there was nothing I could do and in the 70s there was no help to be found.
It'd be one thing to only have one car for environmental reasons, but that's not his case lol. Dude should just use his bicycle if his wife is using the car!
It is a sign of his weakness because he apparently only has one car or is it a sign of her weakness because she is a grown woman who doesn't even have her own car?
You could tell by her response to everything that she has been in counseling *to manage the effects of abuse* "I'm not going to engage." "I need to take space." Reaffirming her love for him before leaving in an attempt to de-escalate further explosiveness (via phone, in person on return)

Being a one-car household in suburban Texas is a massive red flag. We have no public transportation anywhere near houses by design, with a minimum walk time of 30 minutes to the nearest bus or train stop. Leaving your spouse at home with no vehicle, especially during COVID when Uber was severely limited, is extremely isolating as they have virtually no way to leave. In my neighborhood, most families earning 5 figures stretch their budget for 2 cars because it's a necessity. The fact that a millionaire would have one car is insane.
The strangest part is that she only wants to go get some groceries. He's acting like he's going to be stranded at home for days on end and he might have this crazy episode of claustrophobia and desperately need to go to the gym or see his mommy. She's only going to be gone for about an hour.
Weirdly, for people with personality disorders like he clearly has (NPD), her refusal to be totally controlled by him is perceived by his disordered psyche as a huge betrayal and abandonment, so it's not hard for him to conjure up those weird delusional fears and victimization. It's manipulation exactly as muffinman has said (lol the handle), but it's very close to what he would be feeling as well.
@@a.r.8954 I don't think he has an actual personality disorder because he's too high functioning. Don't glamorize his behavior by pathologizing it. I think he's just a spoiled brat on a power trip. Every day we hear about people with the most ridiculous egos melting down like toddlers over some minor inconvenience or disappointment like Amy Klobuchar throwing things at her staff because her salad didn't come with a fork or Dan Crenshaw having a hissy fit over being called out on insider trading.
We don't know the full story. She could say she's going for groceries and disappear for hours on end. I used to do that to my wife but have realized that it's highly disrespectful and no longer do..
@@Silverado1234 you may want to ask yourself why you're so desperately trying to spread the accountability around here. A pregnant woman purposely leaving for hours in a hot car?? The only reason a pregnant woman would 'disappear for hours' would be escaping an abusive partner or if something terrible has happened. Get a grip. Noting also if he was truly worried about her leaving for hours, he should have got up off of his ass and done the groceries himself.
The funniest part of this story is the shock and awe campaign of Candy Owens, no one goes more scorched Earth than her when someone threatens her grift. Her tenacity is unmatched, and it’s always hilarious.
Candace Owens calling Crowder out on his abuse, and being the one to basically bait him into dooming himself in the first place is about her only broken clock being correct moment of her entire life.
Just imagine how different her rhetoric would be if he'd taken the job at the Daily Wire, though. Remember, she's the one who defended Kayne after the "death con 3" tweet.
I feel like nobody talks about this enough. The fact that Steven Crowder is worth between $4 and $20 million, yet they only have 1 car between both of them just screams out "abuse tactics" to me. Edit: Thanks Kyle, I'm glad you caught it.
There’s no excuse for how he talks to her. In my entire life my husband who I’m not married to anymore never disrespected me like that. Where did he learn this. It’s disgusting.
Read "Why Does he Do That" by Lundy Bancroft. He is a counsellor who has worked with abusive men for decades. Abusive men usually witness their fathers abusing their mothers and unconsciously learn to model the behaviour. I would also say, in SC's case, that his cultural upbringing largely contributed to his attitudes as well in being extra patriarchal compared with mainstream culture. There's an entire chapter in the book about types of male abusers and he sounds like the 'dictator' archetype Bancroft detailed. It's a very informative book but very disturbing.
@@willburbur3793 - Her family did that, but honestly, who cares?? 🥴 He f*ckin deserves it. Makes you wonder what all his friends & colleagues know, and why he felt so threatened they would talk.
Kyle, the car thing... it's a very common thing in abusive and controlling relationships that the abusive partner tries their very best to control their victim. This usually involves invading their privacy, isolating them from friends and family as much as possible, controlling their finances and controlling their movements. Which the car thing is obviously about. And Steven's not "looking for a fight" or "looking for drama." He just wants to control her. He wants to dominate her and put her down because that's how he feels like a man. It's utterly pathetic and textbook.
My father did that to my mother. She had to escape with me and my brother when I was around 4 years old. I didn’t know until years later when she confided this in me
This is the guy who sends his wife to the grocery store and looks T the time stamp when she gets back. If there is 7 minutes uncounted for he accuses her of cheating in that 7 minutes. He has one car so she can’t go anywhere she wants at anytime. He’s a pathetic small man.
This video of the conversation with his wife was just like my dad with my mom. My dad lived a very lonely, bitter and miserable life till the day he died. By the end, had no friends and no family that ever visited
He wants to release her medical history and thinks THAT will give context? Even if he says/proves "She is literally Hitler", it doesn't change the encounter on the patio showing he is VERY manipulative and controlling. She came off as incredibly stable, yet emotionally/mentally hurt, in that encounter. Even if he proves she's abusive too, that doesn't make *his* abuse suddenly okay.
Tbh him releasing her medical records would be the best thing for her. It would make him look so bad and everyone would turn on him. The only thing that can make him look good is if she's a diagnosed psychopath which she probably isn't.
Exactly my BIL law tried that shit with my younger sister when they were first married, he kept one car , a manual shift which he refused to teach her to drive. So I taught her and took her for her license.
I am 95% sure the thing about telling her to get an uber instead of having a friend pick her up is so he can track her on the uber app, using the track friends and family feature. If a friend comes to get her, she has a form of autonomy. If she gets an uber, she is just going for a walk on a leash. It is the same reason they have one car... because crowder wants to make sure that he stays in control by effectively trapping her in suburbia... and then gaslighting her by claiming she is the one trapping him in suburbia when she wants to take the car.
I was thinking the whole time......can't Crowder take an Uber, if his wife takes the car? Then again, that would mean giving his wife any power at all.
@@lordoftheflies7024 that’s funny since he was the one who disappeared and then sent the papers to his wife. It wasn’t her. Watch the episode where Candace breaks down his lies. It’s hilarious.

Just because he “didn’t want to get divorced” doesn’t mean he’s not a COMPLETE hypocrite as the OP points out. Implicit in his critique of POC with that stupid, racist talking point (“Where are the fathers??”) is the presumption that “those people can’t be responsible adults”, etc… You KNOW it’s true, dude!
I feel so bad for the mother. She's so stressed and worried , I know that effects the baby to. How can you do that to your kid. This dude needs some therapy
People get so lost in these categorical “roles” that they forget about the reality and indiscriminate nature of virtue. Just be a good person. Uphold sound values. Forget about “I am man, provider,” and “I am woman, nurturer” and what you have left is what is really there: two human beings co-operating for a (ideally) common goal. Figure out how to make it work according to each of your individual strengths, which may not neatly fit in these traditional categories exactly as they’re supposed to. Crowder deserves this for acting like such a pigheaded tyrant.

Oh no, he's not going to leak her mental health records and claim she's mentally unwell is he?! Because if she's been suffering with at the very least anxiety or depression it would be perfectly understandable knowing his treatment of her.
Right it’s not the gotcha he thinks, if anything it’s going to make him look worse. So you knew your wife was having mental health issues and you decided to berate and stress her out?
It would be *EXTREMELY* worse if the records show that, she never had a mental health issue in her entire life *until* she got married. Imagine if her mental health was clear, and then 2 months after the wedding, she starts seeking doctors? It'd be as plain as a dog's balls, his abuse is what caused her symptoms to develop. And if that isn't the case, then Crowder knew before he married her that she has mental health issues, and yet he verbally abused her. So on top of abusing his own pregnant wife, he knowingly causes the mentally ill distress. do his fans not realize how disgusting this behavior is?
She's 8 months pregnant with twins? and he's complaining that he won't have a car if he MAYBE wants do something on a whim in 30 minutes? How about telling her to take your spot on the comfy patio furniture while YOU go get the groceries, Steven. He's so far removed from decency it's gross, he didn't love her, he thinks she is his property.
The problem with crowder saying she is crazy is that he still berated her. If what he says is true, why would he still do that knowing she potentially had some form of mental distress or illness?
That'd exactly my point too. It's hard to believe a story like that when u are the one seemingly looking for a fight to send someone over the edge. As one who experienced crazy dynamics, usally it's normal to be the one ,walking on eggshells ,doing the opposite things to navigate an unstable person. When dealing with loved one with mental illness it actually makes you quite passive but he was seemingly trying to push a point to a crazy person which after 9 years he should have long ago given up and worried of any confrontation...so yea she's probably not really all that crazy likey he say

Controlling or threatening a woman ( that too a pregnant one ) is the MOST UNMASCULINE thing anyone can ever do. These are the men who let down all men. These aren't men, they are insecure cowards.
The one-car thing for someone so well off is 100% a control tactic. His wife can't go anywhere without him knowing. Even if she got an Uber somewhere paying with a card will leave a paper trail. A receipt for the ride will likely be sent to his email with the time and location of the ride. They also have cameras around the house so getting picked up by someone is technically an option though one that obviously comes with blowback since he described doing that as a threat in the video.
Well, he doesnt want her doing what kyle's wife did and abandon her family.😂 Seriously, all of these people suck. Kyle was shacking up with a married woman. He's also pretty low.
Never understood people like Crowder who claim to want monogamy but still wanna cheat on or abuse their spouse, instead of wasting each others time just get divorced and find someone more suitable for yourself or if you wanna sleep around whatever, but don't waste someone's life because you can't make up your mind.
I grew up with these kinds of men. Hearing him whine about being boxed in without realizing he sounds more like a baby than a grown man pretty much sums up how these men are. Regardless of what men like Crowder claim, these women are not the happiest wives out there, far from it. They're either broken down so much that they've become empty shells, have mental breakdowns in response to abuse and trauma that are then used against them (as Crowder plans to do here), or they punch down on others too (other women, their kids, etc.). Ladies, don't buy into this subservient woman culture, it's a trap that my mother and too many others are victims of. Have a career. Have your own finances. Have a way to escape if necessary. I have a friend that tries to abide by this subservient lifestyle and STILL, she has cash hidden away so that she can escape if necessary. It's not safe. It's not healthy. Be wary. Protect yourself.
If Crowder gets everything released it will probably backfire. The things he thinks are moral failings of his wife are probably things normal people will find relatable and sympathetic. People will probably just blame him for any mental health problems she has because of his behaviour in the video.
His life is so "down to the second" that he's sitting on his patio smoking a cigar while his 8 months pregnant wife makes plans to do the grocery shopping... Make it make sense...

Man sorry to hear about that that is horrible.
Very sorry to hear... Hope you all are okay now.

It'd be one thing to only have one car for environmental reasons, but that's not his case lol. Dude should just use his bicycle if his wife is using the car!
It is a sign of his weakness because he apparently only has one car or is it a sign of her weakness because she is a grown woman who doesn't even have her own car?

It's bullshit, he's just trying to manipulate her.

I didn’t know until years later when she confided this in me
@Andres Hernandez Your mum was a very brave woman to escape with two young boys. I'm glad you three made it out of there.
This sort of thing would happen in every abusive relationship. Abusive relationships are only about control, and nothing else.
It's a snippet. Totally our of context most likely

The fact she’s not allowed to have her own vehicles says a lot. Control!
Also if friends or family pick her up they might want to know why. Which wouldn't look good for him.
I was thinking the whole time......can't Crowder take an Uber, if his wife takes the car?

They're either broken down so much that they've become empty shells, have mental breakdowns in response to abuse and trauma that are then used against them (as Crowder plans to do here), or they punch down on others too (other women, their kids, etc.). Ladies, don't buy into this subservient woman culture, it's a trap that my mother and too many others are victims of. Have a career. Have your own finances. Have a way to escape if necessary. He took his real life views on marriage, into his political shtick. Probably the same would go for his racism.
That’s literally lacking in masculinity. I always thought crowder was effeminate but I didn’t know it went this deep
Jesus.....
That wife is really trying to de-escalate things and he's like a keg of gunpowder with his ridiculous cigar.
If my x had been 1/10 as reasonable I'd be eternally grateful!
What could he be going through where he thinks acting this way would be necessary or a good idea? I mean if you are married to a woman who has your twin children, is literally about to have your twins, you’d think that you would not be trying to pick fights with her over stupid BS power trip shit (in spite of, apparently, her unwillingness to participate in such a fight and her apparent willingness to be reasonable). What was going through his little head?

That's also another abuse tactic, my father literally did that to my mum too, forced her to go to mental health records while he was abusing her and then used it against her during the divorce.
No way he hasn't hit her at some point.
Yup, from my experience with a pass abuser while pregnant I’m sure this guy has. Disgusting
@@QueenAllero sorry you went through that, Steven definitely is human trash
Or pushed her, grabbed her, slapped her, thrown things at her etc.
For sure. "Watch it!" is a threat of physical violence.
I was scared he would do so in that footage. Get physically close enough to an abuser, they'll start grabbing hair, grabbing arms, even throwing fists.
*Amber Heard turns out to be an abusive wife*
Anti-SJW's: *Godzilla roar*
*Steven Crowder turns out to be an abusive husband*
Anti-SJW's: *Tee hee hee*
I don't know, if you go to Crowders videos you see a people berating him under almost every single one. Looks like a lot of fans have turned their back on him, surprisingly. I for one would have assumed they'd celebrate him.
Definitely not true. As someone that leans right, this really makes me sick. I'm sure we can agree that being against abuse crosses the political divide.
@@rusty4092 No, we can’t. I’ll tell you why, because this behavior almost PERFECTLY exemplifies what the current MAGA RW is fighting for: TOTAL domination over women, marginalized groups, and modern "woke" America.
I don’t care which way you lean politically, if you understand what the OP means by “Anti-SJWs”, you know that they are hypocrites and always have been about this sort of “manly” behavior. Impicit in their “arguments” (as someone who’s argued against them, I know!), is the belief that Feminism allows women to “overstep their bounds” in both society and a given relationship.
If you find this footage disturbing, congrats! You are not “that bad” but MANY (if not most) RWers today…those who ADMIRE HOW TRUMP BEHAVES AS WELL in particular, absolutely ARE saying “tee hee hee!” to this. You know it's true.
@@zagreus5773 Can you tell from said comments who's ACTUALLY in the "mug club" or do they just proclaim this? Tough to cite a comments section as proof of anything, really. This behavior from Crowder is no real suprise when you UNDERSTAND what MAGA is actually, really, truly all about...
Well said.
I hope his wife gets all his money and forces a massive child support payout.
Then he'll be vindictive forever and try to poison the kids against her. She will have to live with sharing parenting with this POS for many years to come.
Does she have a job or was she completely dependent on him financially? Because if that's the case, he might end up having to pay alimony as well .
@@almeida1999 My guess is that a guy that wouldn't even buy a 2nd vehicle with his millions and argues with his pregnant wife about taking their 1 car for groceries likely wouldn't tolerate her having her own job.
@@VAOdin You're probably right
She should get a fair share and not rinse him of the fruits of his labor.
For a deca-millionaire to have only 1 car between 2 adults, is straight-up CONTROL issues 🙄
I grew up like this. Very tense moments created out of everyday activities (waking up and making breakfast, watching tv after homework, walking to a friend’s house around the corner). Be careful of the relationships you enter as an adult
Damn i dont usually feel bad with stuff online but i definitly feel bad for her..
"My schedule is to the second!"
* Sits on arse and puffs cigar "
She should get literally a Restraining Order !!! And I seriously doubt that he will release information on his mental issues 🙄 !! But actually they appear out in the Open !!!
As opposed to a figurative restraining order
Tradthots take Stockholm syndrome to it's zenith just so you know.
No sympathy for them.
Crowder: "It should be illegal to file a restraining order against your ex husband!"
That would totally blow his ego if he had to turn in his guns because of a restraining order.
This video is 2 or 3 years old. He left her right after their kids were born
Abuse without context is still abuse…
"Is that a threat?"
30 seconds later
"Watch it! Watch it!"
Man that's goldfish memory right there.
Hopefully every women sees the video so they know not to get close to Crowder
Imagine speaking to the mother of your child, your wife, your 8 mo pregnant wife, life partner like this. My god.
I legit was frinds with a guy that i always suspected acted like crowder to his wife and i bet this video is almost spot on.
I can't believe someone would unironically use the phrase "wifely duties". Did he fall forward in time from the Victorian era?
That's the way my Ex did me when we were going through our divorce it even got to the point my daughter who sided with him saying that I was bipolar. Toxic people like them you don't need in your life.
Getting off a plane yesterday, I had a "Crowder" style encounter. We are a elderly couple. Hubs had surgery and we were flying home from the heart specialist. They only brought my wheelchair, not his. When I insisted he take mine A man commented on my consideration for my hubs and shared he divorced chips wife of 30 years because she never showed him such consideration. He had no way of knowing I gave my chair to hubs because he needed it worse than me......
WTF right?
The Elderly comment on SecularTalk videos lol?
@@toxinqwerty yep. Hippies were progressives
I don’t understand how this is related though?
@@yoeyyoey8937 She's talking about how she met a man like Crowder who believed that the women should always defer to the man (If there is one chair then the man gets it)
@@user-ce9xe1qe8i i thought the man thought she was doing it because he was sick and needed and she did not. But now that I think about it you might be right because that makes sense
In that same video Crowder commands his wife to go give his dog medicine and she doesn't want to do it because it might harm her unborn children. He says to put on gloves. While he sits there smoking a cigar.
Anyone who's lived around conservative men will tell you that this behavior is incredibly common.
not even close. raised conservative, know alot of conservatives. This is a personal issue not a political issue. You can still be traditional in the sense of "wifely and husbandly duties" AND be compassionate and help each other out with things and treat eachother right. Steven clearly has his own personal issues that have nothing to do with political ideology
@@DaBladePwn and yet every marriage I've seen that proclaims those values ends in a divorce, lmfao. I was raised very conservative as well and I'm well aware of the claim of "family values" vs the reality that most conservative men are toxic, repressed monsters. Funny how we only see conservative dudes leading neo-nazi rallies, and they all proclaim that they're just in support of "traditional family values". 😂😂😂
@DaBladePwn when your ideology supports keeping women uneducated and not working you support trapping them in situations where it's easier for men like this to abuse.
@Sk
Bro right wingers talk trash about women, "single mothers", 24/7
You need to stop copeing
@@jakesuper6447 Again, depends on the person. I could say the same about Left winger Women shitting on men on all the time.
Kyle we love you Brother
We just subscribed to your channel and looking forward to your future 😀 👍
There's an old adage: Be nice to the people you meet on the way up, because you'll be meeting the same people on the way down.
I think this fits Crowder to a T if you consider how many people have had the misfortune of working with him.
