Hi Adam, in this install there was a power outlet behind the rough opening that the Wall Humidor was plugged into. We have more details about the electrical components in the owner's manual if you would like to learn more. vigilantinc.com/support/instructions/Wall-Humidor-Manual.pdf#zoom=100
This is an accurate concern! Lighting will produce heat which can affect the moisture inside a humidor. Fortunately, all Vigilant products utilize extremely efficient low-watt LED lighting systems that produce very little heat. These lights, combined with our precision, active humidification systems provide extremely stable conditions for optimal preservation and display.
Hi Lyle - there is an outlet just below the humidor - but for this installation, after it was screwed into place it was plugged in behind the wall because of an available outlet. Happens in-between the 06:30 mark

I appreciate the beauty of these cabinets but they are just not deep enough. Should be twice as deep. Also what the heck was behind the wall and how was power supplied? Looks to be like you cut into a utility closet which is not the typical install. I suppose this is a device that sits between a desktop and a full cabinet so that you are just stocking what you'll smoke vs longer term storage?

The base price on these is more than what it would cost to build your own walk in humidor

How did it plug itself in when the cord was just dropped in wall behind it?

what's the cigar count , and the water heather behind the wall has it affected the quality of the cigars ?
Doesn't the heat from the interior lights evaporate the humidity inside your box?

Can't help but feel this would function better as a tabletop instead of wallhanger.

So does self humify?
How is it plugged inside the wall? How do I know if inside my wall has an outlet?
He has access to a closet behind it. There is probably some source in there.
So, where did he plug it in at? It never showed.

That’s bad ass, makes me want to install one in my man cave
Lovely :-).
Not very deep. Should be at least 14 inches deep with shelves in an angle
✅
This only works in america with drywall houses 😂 which are pretty none existant in europe
