Many people don't understand with how advanced games are like now, but it was almost unlike anything anybody had seen before, I remember seeing this 10 years ago and ordering the game right away.
Yeah you can also really see now how much of the stuff from this gameplay reveal they implemented into Part 2, because the PS3 simply couldn't do it. The ai communicating with each other, your character actually picking stuff up, you being able to dodge incoming attacks and the last enemy begging not to be killed. Some of these things was also implemented into the Remake. But still a cool ass trailer and still one of my favorite sections in any game still.
Phill Drake but i don't think the game will stick with the number #1 as the best game on ps3 and ps4 because 2018 is a crazy year i think red dead redemption 2 is a game that will steal this place and specially specially god of war 4 because we all know what god of capable of i played the last of us but man god of war is also a beast and 4 is gonna change the way of making the action rpg games but the last of us part 2 will steal it again if part 1 lost it
I finished it three times on PS3 plus one more time on PS4, will at least finish it one more time. Even tough I know everything about the story already it's still a pleasure to revisit and experience it all again. Looking on things from other perspectives, trying to locate things that haven't catch my eyes before, that's really fun. I'm a very critical person and it takes a lot of work and passion by developers to satisfy my expectations but hands down the story is a masterpiece and graphics are still very good, even if it's just remastered on PS4. Gameplay is good, sure there's better stuff out there but than I can only say: play it on grounded mode - it's the real survival feeling. There is no such thing as best game ever, but The Last Of Us sure is a top game, and will always be in my top 10 at least.
I know right, E3 is supposed to be full with professional journalists who came to observe and write articles about the newest games. It's only becoming public this year

The last of us has gameplay that would make you think it’s a scripted sequence, but’s it’s all actual gameplay and that’s really what makes the 2 games so damn good

There's still some things left in the game though, such as the animation for enemies surrendering (Aim at them after finishing a melee animation if they're still alive) , and Joel's shotgun whipping.
True it's the game but Sony owns a Naughty Dog because of the games they make. Therefore the credit goes to both. Mainly Sony for supporting Naughty Dog and allowing them to make great games.

No Way There is no staying positive after seeing their attitude and how they dealt with the leaks. If they knew it wasn’t as bad as it is then they wouldn’t have reacted in that way and the game wouldn’t have been leaked in the first place. ND can go fuck themselves along with their PC game.
THE GREAT DIEZINE can’t agree more. I had pre-order the $169 edition of TLOU2 and after I had found out about all the bullshit. How they completely fucked my hopes. I canceled. I don’t care for it anymore. I’ll wait till it’s released and watch others play and see if it’ll be worth it then.

Anonymous Legion I know it’s not really my opinion you’re asking for but I really enjoyed the last of us 2. Despite nearly everyone else saying they hated it
So here we see there was a "free dodge" mechanic which did not make it to the full game, where we can only dodge very specific moves when triangle appears on the screen. In the demo for part 2 it seems we can now attempt to dodge any enemy attack at will, hope they keep it like that. Also, we see that picking up ammo from the ground had a cool and detailed animation which again did not make it to the full game, and we see in the demo of part 2 (when Ellie removes the arrow from the dead guy) that this may make it to the full game now, and i hope it does.
Just finished playing TLoU RM'd in PS4 & I fell inlove with this game not just with its game play but specially with the characters they made from Joel & Ellie. This is the only game I ever played with it's unique style. It has an epic ending that will stay in your mind for long.
back when i didnt have a ps4 i watched the walkthrough of this game. Hands down the best. Now that i do have it, im sure my experience isnt the same as people who play is for the first time not knowing whats gonna happen :( still a good game, but regret watching a walkthrough

I do regret knowing what would happen playing it myself, but it took me the video's walkthrough, and more importantly a comment thread about the ending, to make me realize I wanted to experience it for myself. If it wasn't for that comment thread, who knows--I might've just thought "well that was a stupid open ending" and given it no further thought...Yes, I kind of regret how I came across it, but if I didn't--I wouldn't even know of its existence or be a fan of it today!! I know objectively TLOU2 is just as good as 1 but to me I just don’t love it as much because of the events of the story, even though I understand why it’s just as good of a game on paper. I think RDR1 and 2 are the only games that can compete with TLOU in terms of storytelling. I’m about to play the new GoW so that may join as one of my favorites very soon 😎
I remember watching this demo live. I was 17 at the time. Laying in my bed was suppose to be doing my homework I had it all laid out infront of me but this demo came on and I was glued to my TV. When Joel shot the guy in the head and the title popped up I remember realizing how hard I was gripping my pencil. I was HOOKED. Now I’m 25 and I just finished pt 2 and holy fuck.. was it such a great game. I waited 7 years for a second part and I can honestly say I’m happy with the outcome.

But it would not be any better than the first. But look at the walking dead by telltale. I thought it would suck with clementine but no, way better.

Here after playing tlou2... damn i have never played games better than these 2. They everything better in part 2, but not the story. I mean it was great 9/10 for plot, but the first game had a 10/10 plot, that's why people hate it i think
Yeah I love the second game for sure, and it’s getting ALOT more hate than it deserves. The gameplay is so fucking great. But nothing will ever beat playing as Joel imo

Bohdan Bits nice man ! You got great taste in games ... I know objectively TLOU2 is just as good as 1 but to me I just don’t love it as much because of the events of the story, even though I understand why it’s just as good of a game on paper. I think RDR1 and 2 are the only games that can compete with TLOU in terms of storytelling. I’m about to play the new GoW so that may join as one of my favorites very soon 😎
I remember watching this demo live. I was 17 at the time. Laying in my bed was suppose to be doing my homework I had it all laid out infront of me but this demo came on and I was glued to my TV. When Joel shot the guy in the head and the title popped up I remember realizing how hard I was gripping my pencil. I was HOOKED. Now I’m 25 and I just finished pt 2 and holy fuck.. was it such a great game. I waited 7 years for a second part and I can honestly say I’m happy with the outcome.

Just got it cheap for the PS4. Played the shit out of the PS3 version so i didnt think it would be worth it getting it again when i got my PS4. Damn, was i wrong. 60 fps and 1080p makes this game infinitely better. A true masterpiece.
