The audio was focused on the game. The stream cut back to the audience audio as they finished clapping. That's happened a lot at E3 over the past few years.

LGBT people may not be as common as straight people, but they're still around and will end up in movies, shows, or games at some point. That shouldn't ever be a problem; the only problem is when people make a character gay for the sake of being gay, rather than giving it a reason.

I agree that the influx of hate has double if not tripled, but people were honestly stating that the dlc was "fan fiction" and forced because it wasn't a part of the first game.
Never even occurred to them that maybe the studio honestly had to wait till it was safe enough to share this information, and restrict their vision /creativity like most creators, considering the cancel culture LGBTQ usually suffers from.

I've never actually played the last of us cause I know nothing about console games but I've watched my brother play it thousands of times and I'm a bigger fan of the game than him! I always force him to play it again so I can watch it whenever I wanna see ellie and joel! so I don't really care about how the combat and everything works, I am just excited to buy the game myself and have my brother play it so I can sit back and enjoy the story

It's kinda funny some people are mad about the kiss. Makes her more relatable to me as a guy. I like her more now she's cute and she likes girls too that's cool with me. TLOU has the best voice acting in video game history this trailer is almost as well done as the original it seems. If you think that this is forced and cringe than every other game is also because no game is more real when it comes to voice acting in a game than TLOU. It's honestly the best character driven and voice acting game of all time. I don't believe the second game will be as good but It definitely will not be bad I know that for sure.

Ikr, I played Ghost of Tsushima right after, and normally I’d love a game like that, but playing it right after TLOU2 just made GoT feel clunky and uninspired, especially the filmmaking aspect just doesn’t even stand a chance in front of TLOU2

I've literally never seen anything like this, ever. This is a technical fucking marvel. Even Ghost of Tsushima, which totally blew my mind because of how gorgeous it was, had some hiccups in the animation. This was absolutely *flawless* and there was so much subtle detail that I can't even list it all.

but let’s be honest. People are just pissed bc the game doesn’t provide the typical story illusion. Everything goes great for the main protagonists... which is not real life. They may kill plenty of character , characters we love. But it’s one game that truly represents who things would’ve gone in real life and is not just there to satisfy people with its story. That’s the reason TLOU2 is a fucking great game but nobody can look beyond their fav character dying.

I think some parts of people think it’s bad because of the Abby character, but the majority are disappointed with the way Joel goes out. Many fans think that he deserves a better death.

I don't give a fuck if the character is gay, trans or whatever the fuck, the fact that they kill Joel in such a disrespectful way, like, the dude has been impaled, shot, and here goes this character (who has been retcon to make this excuse of a story) and kills him like that, and then, after that, you have to play as that same character trying to kill Ellie, come on, it's like spitting on the entire story of the original game. You fall in love with the characters, that's what made the original so good. If it were a straight white male the one that kills Joel, I'd still be upset.

@JespBoi Jesse wasn’t in the game that much, it’s more Dina than Joel who’s the other character, and honestly I think she’s a really good character to. Plus if you watched the ads You hardly ever saw his face, sort of implying he wasn’t there.
