Sadly the gameplay that you are seeing are actually a gameplay script, it really looks very cool but there might be some downgrade that was shown in there, but i doubt that since its naughty dog and they make some really good video games.

I've never actually played the last of us cause I know nothing about console games but I've watched my brother play it thousands of times and I'm a bigger fan of the game than him! I always force him to play it again so I can watch it whenever I wanna see ellie and joel! so I don't really care about how the combat and everything works, I am just excited to buy the game myself and have my brother play it so I can sit back and enjoy the story

Now, every game I play is royally fucked because I will hold it to the amazing standards Part 2 achieved with story, gameplay, graphics, narrative and emotional weight. 20/10.
Ikr, I played Ghost of Tsushima right after, and normally I’d love a game like that, but playing it right after TLOU2 just made GoT feel clunky and uninspired, especially the filmmaking aspect just doesn’t even stand a chance in front of TLOU2

It's kinda funny some people are mad about the kiss. Makes her more relatable to me as a guy. I like her more now she's cute and she likes girls too that's cool with me. I honestly don't get all the hate she was eyeing up the girl the whole time she is talking to the one guy, not sure what people are talking about it being cringe and forced. TLOU has the best voice acting in video game history this trailer is almost as well done as the original it seems. If you think that this is forced and cringe than every other game is also because no game is more real when it comes to voice acting in a game than TLOU. It's honestly the best character driven and voice acting game of all time. I don't believe the second game will be as good but It definitely will not be bad I know that for sure.

No, it isn't. The Last of Us is a great, _great_ game and I'm all hype for TLoU 2, but that in no way means the end of Xbox in any way whatsoever at all.
Twitch chat makes me laugh. Everyone screeching about no applause and shit, as if this masterpiece wouldn't get any. I've literally never seen anything like this, ever. This is a technical fucking marvel. Even Ghost of Tsushima, which totally blew my mind because of how gorgeous it was, had some hiccups in the animation. This was absolutely *flawless* and there was so much subtle detail that I can't even list it all.

Only issue is that the game doesn't look as good graphically. Here a lot of the reflections looked shiny and lighting looked pristine, but the game is a bit "pastel" looking. Still good, but not quite as advertised
Even now, after all this time since Part 2's release, I am still playing this game and I still love watching videos about it! I estimate I have played Part 2 all the way through probably +/-22x. I have completed this game on Grounded probably 8-9x and am currently attempting a Permadeath Per Chapter run on Grounded with the goal of (hopefully, one day) completing a Grounded Permadeath Whole Game challenge.
Got any tips? I'm on Grounded + right now and keep getting into the bad habit of missing a shot and then restarting checkpoint. How do you get out of that mindset? I'd have to if I ever did permadeath.
@@Jozombies115 ... It takes a lot of practice. For a regular Grounded run, my advice regarding shooting is to upgrade the stability of your weapons first, then increase accuracy. That makes the reticle "float" less enabling more accurate shots. Also, going prone to shoot increases your accuracy as well. Being prone and unseen makes it easier to line up your shot before you take it. The silencer on the pistol is pure gold for silent stealth kills, but you gotta be kinda close and get a headshot. On Grounded, you'll get very few supplies, and (prior to upgrading the silencer) you'll only get two shots out of it, so pick your spots to use it carefully. On human enemies who are unaware, stealth by them as much as you can. If you must fire a weapon, go prone, and go for the headshot--one shot, one kill then vacate that area because the remaining enemies (and this applies to both Ellie and Abby) will come looking for you and they'll start where they think the shot came from. Just in general, to help conserve ammo, you can shoot an Infected in the leg once and if they fall down, run up on them, press square, and either Ellie or Abby will stomp their head. If you have a melee weapon, use a brick or bottle, throw it at them to stun them, then run up on them and press square to use you melee weapon and you'll homerun them into oblivian. The main thing is, use stealth, prone, and obstacles to hide behnd... and try not to rush your shot. Hope these tips help.
@@marcileatherboots1 Thanks for the tips. For the shot in the leg thing... is that for clickers, stalkers, or runners? Usually I just put one shot into a clickers head and then knife it and it's dead.
@@Jozombies115 ... Yeah shooting the infected in the leg and they fall down works on runners, stalkers, and clickers. Also, not sure if you're aware of this, but as Abby, when you stealth up to a clicker, you can use the crossbow and headshot a clicker. Really useful because sometimes you get the bolt back.

It's kinda funny some people are mad about the kiss. Makes her more relatable to me as a guy. I like her more now she's cute and she likes girls too that's cool with me. I honestly don't get all the hate she was eyeing up the girl the whole time she is talking to the one guy, not sure what people are talking about it being cringe and forced. Plus we already knows she is gay or at least Bi, people hating on this game is cringe to me lol. TLOU has the best voice acting in video game history this trailer is almost as well done as the original it seems. If you think that this is forced and cringe than every other game is also because no game is more real when it comes to voice acting in a game than TLOU. It's honestly the best character driven and voice acting game of all time. I don't believe the second game will be as good but It definitely will not be bad I know that for sure.

How in the actual hell does Naughty Dog make the AI in this game feel real?
Twitch chat makes me laugh. Everyone screeching about no applause and shit, as if this masterpiece wouldn't get any.
I've literally never seen anything like this, ever. This is a technical fucking marvel. Even Ghost of Tsushima, which totally blew my mind because of how gorgeous it was, had some hiccups in the animation. This was absolutely *flawless* and there was so much subtle detail that I can't even list it all.

Even now, after all this time since Part 2's release, I am still playing this game and I still love watching videos about it! I estimate I have played Part 2 all the way through probably +/-22x. I have completed this game on Grounded probably 8-9x and am currently attempting a Permadeath Per Chapter run on Grounded with the goal of (hopefully, one day) completing a Grounded Permadeath Whole Game challenge.
Got any tips? I'm on Grounded + right now and keep getting into the bad habit of missing a shot and then restarting checkpoint. How do you get out of that mindset? I'd have to if I ever did permadeath.
@@Jozombies115 ... It takes a lot of practice. For a regular Grounded run, my advice regarding shooting is to upgrade the stability of your weapons first, then increase accuracy. That makes the reticle "float" less enabling more accurate shots. Also, going prone to shoot increases your accuracy as well. Being prone and unseen makes it easier to line up your shot before you take it. The silencer on the pistol is pure gold for silent stealth kills, but you gotta be kinda close and get a headshot. On Grounded, you'll get very few supplies, and (prior to upgrading the silencer) you'll only get two shots out of it, so pick your spots to use it carefully.
On human enemies who are unaware, stealth by them as much as you can. If you must fire a weapon, go prone, and go for the headshot--one shot, one kill then vacate that area because the remaining enemies (and this applies to both Ellie and Abby) will come looking for you and they'll start where they think the shot came from.
Just in general, to help conserve ammo, you can shoot an Infected in the leg once and if they fall down, run up on them, press square, and either Ellie or Abby will stomp their head. If you have a melee weapon, use a brick or bottle, throw it at them to stun them, then run up on them and press square to use you melee weapon and you'll homerun them into oblivian.
The main thing is, use stealth, prone, and obstacles to hide behnd... and try not to rush your shot. Hope these tips help.
@@marcileatherboots1 Thanks for the tips. For the shot in the leg thing... is that for clickers, stalkers, or runners? Usually I just put one shot into a clickers head and then knife it and it's dead.
@@Jozombies115 ... Yeah shooting the infected in the leg and they fall down works on runners, stalkers, and clickers. Also, not sure if you're aware of this, but as Abby, when you stealth up to a clicker, you can use the crossbow and headshot a clicker. Really useful because sometimes you get the bolt back.
The fact that they recognised the game by the ui shows how popular the game is.
