To think they were invited to England by Led Zeppelin to play(their version) "Stairway to Heaven" personally (which is on one of their albums) to get their approval to release it on an album. Wow! Although they are acoustic in the sense that they are not electric guitars, those are nylon stringed classical guitars, not steel stringed acoustic guitars, which is what is commonly known as an acoustic guitar.
playing an Spanish guitar with plectrum in hispanic world mean you are lazy and unable to actually learn how to play it.. of course, playint it with plectrum is easy but you limit the reachness and variety of things you can do with the guitar..playing it with proper techniques takes a lot a of yearsbut it´s worth it. techniques like picado, huge variety of rasgueos, tremolo, alzapua etc etc takes years to learn
A RyG show should NOT be in an all-seat venue. By mid-show half of the crowds was already standing at close to the stage. This is a ROCK concert, it should have a festival sector in front of the stage. The show is just too electrifying to enjoy it while sitting.
Agreed. I went to their concert in a theater venue in São Paulo and it was so weird to be sitting for half of the show. Luckily, on the second half, they allowed us to watch the concert from the back of the stage!
