All of their performances are terrific, but this one ranks right up as one of their very best; it is also a very interesting performance that includes some at least somewhat different approaches that I have not seen them take before. Two of the best guitarists who have ever lived without question. Gabriela is not just a rhythm guitarist without peer, but also a great soloist, and I would say also a master percussionist that plays like no one else, and Rodrigo also has a mastery of the instrument that is unrivaled. Together they are also exceptionally creative.
23 minutes in starts Gabriela's solo. OMG, so fantastic. I listen to it over and over. Can't get enough of their style of playing. My all time favorite musicians.
Coming from the Trujillo videos, and from usually listening rock/metal punk, I can see that they play flamenco with a lot of rock structures and influences. This is what makes them different. I recognize quite a few bits that remind me rock songs (Metallica, Refused, etc.). Their interpretation of Metallica's "Orion" is excellent here. I didn't know them so maybe I'm just stating the obvious ^^'
I like to imagine what amazing things they could play if there was an actual drummer in the band it would free them up a good deal to focus on playing guitar.
That would lose alot of their style though. So much of what I absolutely love about them is how many different sounds they are able to get out of just those two acoustic guitars.

Too bad they have to swear every two seconds when they are speaking...
Gabriela is fucking adorable when she swears.
I guess is because they used to play heavy metal at the beginning of their careers... I don't mind though 😉
+Mario Núñez They learned to speak English while playing in Irish bars. The Irish are eloquent fookin' cursers.
@@pwmcshane may be:) I can't remember any swearing in spanish...
You'd be surprised how many non native English speakets know the f word and how to use it.
