From Waterloo. My late Mom and Dad retired from John Deere. I worked there till they sent our jobs to Mexico. Lol. Great job and benefits there. They went from picking cotton as youngters to making great money.

Years ago someone in their vehicle or walking down the street talking to themselves was unusually, but today with cell phones with microphones , hardly anyone notices
Those folks at the Deere dealership recognized you as the famous "Suoer Trucker" and were wanting pictures and autographs with you Bailey and the Orange Truck! .
That's the head for a combine it cuts the wheat, beans , oats gathers them up and pushes them into the combine so the grain can be seperated.

I was going to say hi at John deere but didn't see you in your and want to bother you but hope to sew there again sometime.
You just ran my old stomping grounds, Marshall Mo, then Edgerton ks, back to Concordia Mo. Back in the day there were small chicken coop scales by Odessa Mo. that always seemed to give drivers a bad time. ( They had a reputation that was known on I-70. One winter's nite in a snow storm when no one was in the East bound coop a flat bed driver backed his trailer into it and kncked the block walls down and basically flattened it. The moral of this story was they caught him later. It was the c.b. talk from quite a while.😮
I loaded at that John Deere in E. Moline a few months ago. Took a couple hours after my appointment time to get called back to load, but the actual loading is very fast. Great video. Keep them coming! Drive safe.

FYI - the 1/2 tires mounted to the skidsteer brackets are for scraping/pushing 🐄💩 from the alleys in the barns.

Dan, it goes on the front of a combine harvestor or a swather, so it either cuts the crop and draws it into the combine so it threshes it into hopper or if it's on a swather it just cuts the crop and puts it in a windrow for a combine to pickup and harvest later. That thing is huge though?...40 feet wide?
I pulled a lot of multi axle trailers in Michigan in the 90's. Up to 8 axles at ZFS. The toggles for lifting were on the dashboard along with the air gauges. On the floor next to the seat was an air valve handle for adjusting the air pressure, that worked really nice. You have an auxiliary wire in your pigtail, connected to your dash somewhere, would be way more useful.
Always was fun backing into those black holes with my covered wagon. Man your running pretty hard. Stay safe thanks for your service !

Those are for scraping manure on dairy farm free stall barns.
Those rubber tire scrapers behind your truck are for scraping cow manure. Lol. We have used one on our dairy farm for 25 years
Hi Dan! Regarding your allergy, maybe it would be great to check filters for your cabin. I dunno what they are called in english, but there should be some kind of airfilters that will clean the air inside of your truck. Maybe it would help to at least get them changed out of they happend to be a few years old. Best of luck down the road. It is a real pleasure following along 🙂

my uncles and grandparents all had John Deere tractors even small ones green and yellow tractors.
I'm surprised that the trailer isn't set up so you can lift either axle. We had a triaxle that we set up so any axle could lift in case of a flat tire.

Good Morning!
Those are not snow pushers for skid steers. Those are manure scrapers. The tire part contains the manure as you push it to the pit opening and the top straight bar is to help pull it out of corners. Lots of a dairy barns use those to scrap alley ways into deep pits.

Those off road tires are for moving cow dropping , my dad made one we milked 105 Holstein in the 1990 .love your video, no trains .

So Dan. So someone like me who's not a trucker but loves the industry and what it represents. My question is would freight like this be considered "general freight" or am I still missing something???
hope that combine head will be used in a large field as it wont work too good in small fields, if the roads on both sides are traffic active
