My idea for the next game would be a haunted cruise ship. They could even make it the Daisy cruiser. That would be the perfect way to bring Daisy into the series. I wouldn’t want her to just be a damsel in distress though. Having her be a player 2 could be really cool
There’s a pretty popular fan theory that King Boo is Bowser. The reason for this is because Luigi’s mansion was King Boos first appearance, but he says that he wants revenge on Mario and Luigi for “all the trouble he caused them in the past” but again this was his first appearance so this mysterious previous event we have no idea what he’s referring to. The fortuneteller in the mansion says that she thought Mario had killed Bowser and then there’s King Boo using a Bowser suit during the final boss for no explained reason. Is this theory true? Probably not but it is cool
I really like the pirate ghost idea. I feel like it makes complete sense since ghost pirates are such a common idea in stories. I do wonder what the different bosses would be like since you can only do so much with a pirate theme
I would think the bosses could be based on different crew member positions, or even just based on pirate-like elements in general. One of em could be blind with two eyepatches, so they flail around with swords, another could be Creeptooth's Parrot, one could be a butcher for fish the crew would eat, or heck, maybe even have a boss that's a literal giant undead/ghost Blooper that went down with the crew when they all became ghosts. There's tons of potential!
Okay, I thought about it a little too much... Game Pitch: Luigi's Mansion 4 Overview: In Luigi's Mansion 4, players join Luigi on an eerie adventure as he sets off with Mario, Peach, Daisy, and some unexpected stowaways-Wario and Waluigi-to visit Delfino Island. Meanwhile, Professor E. Gadd has been monitoring for large Boo activity, and the Boomuda Triangle appears. He went to study and investigate, amazed that Luigi is here. Their trip takes a dark turn when they accidentally veer into the mysterious Boomuda Triangle, where they encounter an abandoned cruise ship haunted by King Boo and his ghostly minions. Core Mechanics: Spirit Mirror Mechanic: Ghost Ability Puzzle-Solving Description: In Luigi's Mansion 4, players can transform into Ghost Luigi using the Spirit Mirror mechanic. This form grants Luigi several unique abilities that are essential for solving various puzzles throughout the game. 1. "Scare" Function Invisible Interactions: As Ghost Luigi, players can use the "scare" function to startle certain enemies or environmental elements, triggering reactions. For example, scaring a ghostly statue might cause it to reveal a hidden passage or activate a mechanism that opens a door. 2. Passing Through Walls Accessing Hidden Areas: Ghost Luigi can pass through specific walls or barriers that are otherwise impenetrable in his human form. This ability allows players to explore secret rooms or shortcuts, often leading to valuable collectibles or clues for puzzles. 3. Interacting with Ghostly Objects Manipulating Haunted Objects: Some puzzles involve ghostly objects that can only be moved or activated by Ghost Luigi. For instance, pushing a ghostly box into the right position may unlock a gate or activate a lift. 4. Avoiding Enemy Vision Strategic Movement: Ghost Luigi can sneak past enemies without being seen, allowing players to access areas without triggering combat. This stealth mechanic is crucial for puzzles that require a delicate approach, like navigating a maze of patrolling Dry Bones or avoiding detection to retrieve items. Gameplay Experience By incorporating these ghost abilities into puzzle-solving, Luigi's Mansion 4 encourages players to think creatively about how to navigate challenges. Utilizing Ghost Luigi’s powers not only enhances exploration but also deepens engagement with the haunted environments, making each puzzle feel unique and rewarding to solve. F.L.U.D.D Returns!: As Professor E. Gadd shows up in a submarine and begins to share what he knows with Luigi, providing upgrades and information, and transportation as the submarine can take him to the islands. 1. Ectoplasm Generation Attachment to the Poltergust: FLUDD is integrated with Luigi's Poltergust, enhancing his ghost-hunting abilities by generating ectoplasm from what the spirits contained within the Poltergust left behind. 2. Ectoplasm Spray Weakening Ghosts: FLUDD sprays ectoplasm that clings to ghosts, effectively weakening them and pushing them back. This mechanic allows Luigi to create opportunities for capturing ghosts by momentarily disabling their attacks or movements. Area of Effect: The ectoplasm can cover a small area, creating a strategic advantage in combat by pushing multiple ghosts back if they are caught within the spray. 3. Revealing Hidden Path Clearing Obstacles: Players can use FLUDD to spray ectoplasm on obscured surfaces, clearing away overgrown foliage, cobwebs, or dust to access hidden areas or pathways. Unveiling Secrets: Certain hidden paths, puzzles, or secrets can only be revealed by using FLUDD’s ectoplasm spray, encouraging exploration and experimentation. Gameplay Experience FLUDD’s ability to weaken and push back ghosts while also serving as a tool for exploration enriches the gameplay experience in Luigi's Mansion 4. This dual functionality encourages players to think strategically about how and when to use FLUDD, enhancing both combat and puzzle-solving aspects of the game. Boomuda Islands: The game features three distinct islands representing the Boomuda Triangle: Pirate Den: Explore a haunted pirate-themed area, defeating a boss to earn a pirate outfit and disrupt part of King Boo's ancient ritual. Village of Tribal Piñata People: Solve colorful puzzles among friendly piñata villagers to receive a whimsical piñata skirt and tree hat, stopping another segment of the ritual. Underwater Area: Navigate shipwrecks while using ghost skills to outmaneuver a Kraken Blooper, unlocking a thematic underwater skin. Narrative Elements: King Boo's ultimate plan is to use the power of the Boomuda Triangle to cause it to be night forever, so he may go wherever he pleases and rule the world! This causes the moon's rays to become funny, if they touch a glass or reflective surface it can turn people into ghosts or alter their forms as stated above. Luigi's friends and a couple of semi-enemies have been corrupted into enemies that Luigi must get them through a mirror to return them to their old selves. Cosmetics and Customization: Skins earned throughout the game are purely cosmetic, allowing players to customize Luigi's appearance without altering gameplay mechanics. Conclusion: Luigi's Mansion 4 promises to blend captivating exploration, engaging puzzle-solving, and thrilling combat as players navigate a beautifully crafted world filled with ghosts, treasures, and whimsical challenges. Join Luigi on this haunting adventure, face his fears, and rescue his friends from the clutches of King Boo!

Big fan of the ideas, epically the tower hill one, taking the house, to the mansion
The Boomuda Triangle still goes hard
- The one who made it up
How about exploring an entire haunted town?
