Thank goodness you got out of there! We'd never find anyone else to eat expired foods, pamper tadpoles, build cool gardens, camp on a frozen river or in a tree-top camp or old bakery truck camp, or take us on a cross-country trek to the ocean while checking out every culvert along the way! Not to mention old, abandoned trains and depots and buildings. We need you alive and kicking!
Out of all the unclogging videos you’ve done, we must say that this is the most intense “nail biting” video that we’ve watched. Very good call to pull out of that unclogging. Be safe post 10.
There was a sand clearance about 2 months ago, Post climbed in and it was fairly high pressure. Both were definitely nail biters. Stay safe Post we adore you man!
That one sounded like niagara falls how loud it was! It's better to be safe than sorry. Smart decision one walking away. Looking forward to a follow-up on this one ✌️
Bummer, this one would have been amazing to see cleared. But it was def giving off sketchy vibes. Could see the light clean through it, and the water was already amost up to the top of your boots. Plus you're alone. Better to play it safe.
17:00 Love how you can see the difference between the dam and the level of water. Very cool and very glad you played it safe. Shows why you're the best. Thanks Post.
Wow! That one was a doozie! I was so looking forward to seeing that one blast through. But your life is more important than!! Would leaning over that pipe from the topside & picking away at it, w/ your tool, have helped? Love your content & your no nonsense personality! It makes you very likable & watchable! Pulling out on this one was a smart choice! Please Stay safe!🙏😁🙏
Great episode from an educational perspective! Right decision to go for “better safe than sorry” here. Clearly underlines your professional attitude; really appreciate!
Good thing you stopped Post 10. That looked very dangerous, seeing that light thru the dam looking like an ex-ray looked very forbidding. Im glad you have the know/ how when to stop [ you got to know when to hold em and know when to fold em ] Lol. and walk away from danger or worse. Great video, thanks for sharing.
I'm glad you erred on the side of caution. There was a 4-6" piece of jagged metal inside the pipe on the right, maybe 9" above the water level. It could have been really nasty if you got pushed into it by the dam breaking. 👍👍
That seemed super dangerous to me. I'm surprised Post10 even messed w/it because he's usually very cautious. I'm SO glad he finally walked away. (I was holding my breath!)
This one was cool! Went to the highest resolution and i could see the dam falling apart! That water was super clear!! Safety first! Much love to ya Post 10!
Post you definitely had me gripped to my chair on this one for your safety! Always interesting to listen and watch you hard at work! Take care and stay safe ❤❤
When I saw the thumbnail for this video I was thinking if this unclogging is going to be like the underground tank pipe But when I watched the video..."Holy" Glad you made the right choice in stepping away from this, Post 10. Stay safe and continue making the right decisions to step away when the odds are really overwhelming against you, even with a spotter present.
You know what would be cool if you made a grappling hook and had to come along and threw it in the front and then hooked to come along to the end of the pipe at the other end and then just pulled that whole thing through
That was a scary one! Good you were smart about it and let it be! Don't know if I could've stopped.. I hope I could. Curious about the other uncloggings, the biggest one yet, of that day that you got completly open!
Just thought of something, not by any means an expert but what if you had some kind of hook/anchor thing that you could have attached to a long winch/come along cable, set the hook on the other side of such a dam where the water is deep, then attach the winch/come along end to the end of the culvert where your camera shows the water coming out. Cranking the winch/come along would pull the hook thru the dam, loosening the dam in the process. Just an idea, probably not suitable for plastic pipes, but maybe for those you could fasten the winch/come along end to something else.
My grandparents and uncles live very close to an irrigation canal so my uncles generally know how to swim, but the water currents even here in the video are little seen but I can't imagine the strength of the water current, the good thing It's that you didn't continue unclogging the pipe. ps - a wave in the sea made me roll around But that wave was huge, I couldn't do anything, not even a breath of fresh air, but it didn't get any worse and I went the whole 2 hour way back home without a towel, so you can imagine how cold it was. NICE VIDEO
As much as I wanted to see it move, I was worried you may get caught in it. Sometimes it's better to leave well enough alone. Glad I don't chew my nails😂. I enjoyed that. Love the unclogging. I miss the road drain ones too they are fun to watch.😊
I built a reciever mount for my 4500lb winch that allows me to run a chain through the tube that goes into the reciever. Doing so allows me to chain the setup to most anything and once the chain tightens up the chain tension keeps the cable in line with the chain. This situation would have been the perfect place to use it. It could be chained to the downstream end of the culvert and using a trebble hook built from ¾" round steel(I built one of those also), that dam could have been winched to pieces in minutes. Would love to see Post use something like that on this plug! Just rip it out in one huge gush! That would be an awesome video!
Oh for some minor explosive lol! I wonder what would happen if you had a grab hook and connected to your car and pulled? great video glad you were cautious and absolutely love the Shirt!
While its unfortunate you couldn't get it fully, this was the first time I've been concerned for your safety. If that thing broke, you would have been washed out for sure. Your health ain't worth our views :) There will be other big ones we can enjoy with you. Glad you made the right call on this one.
Your videos are always entertaining! I’m curious if that’s part of your official job or do you just do the culvert cleaning to help out the people who have to use the roads? Either way it’s admirable :)
That was a rough defeat... but better safe than sorry. Glad you called that off. Also a rare BS bomb from post10... that lake drain still burns you up a little doesn't it. Glad you're safe, take care.
I saw a giant log on the other side of the culvert. I wonder if you could lift it and bring jt over to the inlet and use it as a ram to push the whole dam down. As you said, the culvert is smooth so it might slip with all that pressure?
I've been listening to him for years and could not put my finger on it. It just came to me he sounds just like Napoleon Dynamite. Vote for Pedro "GOSH"
Glad that you handled this one with great caution; the force and sheer mass of the flow in that pipe was very clear! Keep taking care, post 10.
exactly my thought
that's what i said.!!!!!!!!!!!
I prefer the smaller drain unclogs if it means I can relax knowing he's not in danger.
Thanks to you, Post, for the content either way.
It’s not that bad lol

@@TheCostume we’ll check out that video. Thank you.
That was a worrisome culvert, glad you’re alright. You were so careful too. Thanks for everything you do to help all of us. ❤

so soothing the sound of rushing water
Glad you went the safe route. That could have been crazy. Wonder if a 6ft pry bar would have helped with this one (from upstream)…
Or maybe float a big log into it.
Maybe we can pool together to get him one for Christmas!
Maybe use his winch
@@woodstream6137 I think he had a tackle block to change the direction. Great idea!
Have to admire anybody who takes whatever job they have seriously.
And a volunteer at that ! He definitely should be paid by counties for his maintenance work !
Yup this is one of his hobbies

Glad you put safety first. I like that you're not a dare devil. Your big, hairy spider friend gave me the willies!
The little Rick burps crack me up..😂 4:49
Oh boy, I’m glad you stopped when you did. I was hyperventilating! Thank you for sharing.
I know! He almost drove off with his marker on the hood!
Thanks for being safe! Especially when you are alone!!
Happy 4th!!
Always follow your instincts. Good job.
I'm glad you stopped when you did. This one was huge. Great video Post.

Definitely a good call there. I wonder how long that road has left at this rate. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Postie ❤ Happy fourth of July🇺🇸
Appreciate your judgment. Happy Fourth to you!
Hope to see updates on the dam and sinkhole situation. Looked way too dangerous inside the culvert
A hand written orange ribbon from Post10 would be a true collectors item.
Thank you for realizing and going to work on it from the other side. And then you came back.
Woo post 10 upload
Good evening, post10!
Love the way you can never resist "having a go" - and also know when to stop !!!
This is an excellent video thank you - very comprehensive

Glad you changed your mind on this one. No video is worth getting injured. I'm sure all of us were holding our breath hoping you'd get out of there.
Loving the squelching sound of,your boots at the start…. Clearly you had an already busy day. 😅
@Post 10 Amazing video. Glad you were cautious. Love your videos in the UK.

Well enjoyed the video and glad you took the cautious route.
Im so glad you are very safety conscious, that looked like a very bad pipe to stay in.
When I saw the thumbnail for this video I was thinking if this unclogging is going to be like the underground tank pipe

It’s amazing that beavers could build that structure with the force of the water flowing
It wouldn't have been very bad when they built it.
Would you go back and try again as the water has gone down?
The water will not go down below the dam
@@post.10 I think he means as it went down to the new level. Take it down a little at a time.
Post 10 is great !

You're a true Horsefighter!❤
you might consider looking into those personal flotation devices. They have self inflating ones that activate when submerged in water. Safety first
You're one crazy guy Post! That was a dangerous one🎉
Most nervous I’ve even been watching an unclogging video. That was intense.
Post certainly raised the tension. I keep saying "If you're not sure, don't."
Wow i swear i saw the whole thing move once. Glad post played that one safe !

That was so neat watching the rake come in the water from this side
Great stuff as always.

Whew, that one was hard to watch. Figured because you POSTed the vid you survived, but stil... Happy Independence Day to all Americans out there!!!
I love post10 clogging but im kinda scared of the snakes or something in there hehehe❤

That was a rough defeat... but better safe than sorry. Glad you called that off. Also a rare BS bomb from post10... that lake drain still burns you up a little doesn't it. Glad you're safe, take care.
Sorry I put the subtitles on this video cause of a roar of the water :D

Definitely a good one for sure
This one's going to be interesting!
We were actually looking through the water-scary. You were wise to get out. That could have been disastrous if it had let go.
Havent seen any street drain videos in a long time. any plans of doing any in the future?
He said clogged streets are hard to find since the local governments got embarrassed by his viral videos so they clean better.
Maybe a life jacket or some sort of floatation device near by might be a good idea for unclogs like this.
Gosh, Post 10, that is too much for my heart. I don’t want to see you flash away. I was so afraid for you.
Stay safe post!!
