In India they released new ertiga facelift, it have new K15C dualjet engine, new AT 6 speed transmision, paddle shifters, 4 airbags, new grill (not any major change in face), rear chrome garnish, and also headunit. And for XL 7 facelift have all fitur in ertiga facelift with additional features like new black smoke rear stoplamp, new grill, new velg (it the same with current), tield and telescopic steering, new headunit (with Suzuki Connect), and 3rd level front Ventilated seat (driver and front passenger only).
Fantastic review, Sir Roy. I must say that the Ertiga (and most other Suzuki cars for that matter) always gives you a feel that it's an intelligent car designed by intelligent people for intelligent people. Simple and no frills, great car!

Finally, a review giving this car some justice. It's a simple, reliable, fuel efficient car that you can truly take anywhere. A true MPV in every sense.
I mentioned in one of my comments that I own this car. I am that guy, brother. One more thing, this car pulls like a boss, even in mountain areas. At full load, I have taken mine in the mountains of Negros Occ. and Oriental (Alangilan, Patag, Cauayan, Canlaon, Mabinay, Pamplona) without worries of overheating, or being underpowered. That low end torque tuning is fantastic!
Plus, it has the most comfortable and spacious third row in its segment. You put it to the test. You are 5'11" and it's still spacious. 😊
Plus, did I mention how fuel efficient it is? Oh yes, I did. Thanks again for the review!

As you can see from the video we also film in your area and yes there certainly are ALOT of Ertigas in our place :-) i love the no-frills and solid vibe of this car :-)

I'm an ex-Suzuki Philippines sales agent and they used to have the Ertiga GLX, the luxury variant of the Ertiga. Then it was phased out in favor of the more expensive XL7.
Yeah. Bummer. I like the exterior of the ertiga more than the xl7. I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't need the extra ground clearance and flashy styling. The interior of the xl7 is perfect for the exterior of the ertiga. 😐

Hope the future Ertiga and XL7 will have a 6-speed AT and at least 6 airbags (better safety for a family vehicle).
agreed , the 4 speed these days is a Downer. engine power is decent but the power delivery is meh,

Can you please enlighten me sir about the RUST ISSUE in ertiga.. I did my research and it comes out that the rust issue in ertiga is true,.. The rust starts to come out just in 2 years.. Coz i am eyeing to buy this particular car..
I've done a bit of research on the matter myself and found that many of the reported rust issues come from the Indian market and not much from our local scene. It may have to do with the coating and rustproofing done which is certainly different from market to market but part of the perks of buying a Brand new car is the warranty and Suzuki Philippines certainly has one of the largest dealer and service networks to help you out!
