As someone who works for Chick-fil-A, let me tell you you did absolutely everything correctly. Perfectly even. You said everything clear and precise, you turned off your bike, you clarified entrée, you knew exactly what you wanted to get as you were pulling up, you spelled your name out, you had your card out ready to be taken by the time you were at the window (even if you couldn’t find it at first), and you were absolutely so polite about everything. Zero notes 10/10 you’re an amazing customer!! Oh and just to let you know we have cameras that allow us to see the menu boards and whoever was assigned to that menu board was probably just busy for a few seconds.

I’m sure someone else mentioned it but don’t forget you have a rear break during a stop. I’ve been riding for years and even I forget about it when I go back to riding in the spring. It will also free up your right hand from having to use the break so you can adjust your visor or even look for your card 😎

I learned the other day that blur is not destructive. So, if you can, I suggest blocking out important things, just to make sure that it can't be reconstructed.

In Canada i never once had someone take my card nor would I be comfortable with it
I came here to say that too, should never hand your card over, only takes a couple seconds for them to snap a picture of it
in the US they almost always take your card but the register is right next to the window so you can see them swipe it
