According to the light novels, Yamamoto in his prime could not defeat the hollow Ikomikidomoe (the most powerful hollow) who was planning to devour the soul king. No 4 base > no 6 res, so, no 2 base > no 4 res And since resurrection and segunda etapa gives same boost, no 2 res > no 4 segunda etapa. 3. Ulquiorra res was beating ichigo while stark (unserious) was fighting 2 captains directly below Yamamoto and two other visored captains. Ichigo atp was equal to byakuya and zaraki both of whom are weaker than shunsui. So stark > ulquiorra. 2. Shinji < ulquiorra Shinji's stats are just too low. His base stats are kinda equal to injured grimmjow, given 10x mask boosts, he can't realy stand up to ulquiorra stats or stark's. Sakanade is truly a nasty ability, but it's easy to counter when you know about it. And knowing shinji, he will surely yap about it. Ulquiorra's ceros are highly destructive like bambietta's bombs, stark can fire his gun all around, etc etc 3. I disagree with Yoruichi, she's never shown any feats to place her above unohana byakuya mayuri. Her strongest form requires Urahara to feed her something meaning she can't activate it all by herself. I'd place her somewhere between top espadas. 4. Squad 0 feats are held back for plot purposes (that's what i think) so i won't argue for kirio, Tenjiro and oetsu. Although, them choosing senjumaru doesn't mean senju is stronger, they even said that she has 1000 arms so 6 people should be fine to deal with. 5. Urahara < Senjumaru Senjumaru was able to subdue 4 Schutzaffels alone with her bankai, Urahara with his bankai wasn't able to beat even askin. 6. Senjumaru > askin 7. Shunsui and zaraki couldn't beat one Schutzaffel while senjumaru beat 4, so senjumaru > shunsui and zaraki 8. Now, senjumaru can seal gerard and lille to defeat them, but since she cannot kill them, you can who's stronger. 8. Uryu beat senjumaru so uryu > senjumaru shunsui zaraki. 9. The top 10 - top 5 of bleach are all about hax, so it's just case dependent. 10. Yamamoto < senjumaru and lille gerard and ichibei 11. Shunsui is stronger than sejumaru, any other stern Ritter caught in his bankai would’ve died. X-Axis was broken not to mention he was getting amped by soul king Yhwach & even started using part of his power, hence why nanao was the only one able to defeat his because her zanpakuto is literally made for absorbing power and reflecting it back.

I agree his argument makes no sense that he beat a younger Yuha but Yuha beat Ichibe but we learned that Ichibe was able to disable Yuha's almighty using the left hand of god so that means Yuha fought Yamamoto without the almighty so no wonder he lost , heck Ichibe was toying with Yuha until he was able to use almighty , its only when Yuha opened his eyes when he wrecked Ichibe . Since we are treating new scenes in anime that are not in manga as canon we know that a young Yuha before he fought Yama already had the almighty but it was an inferior version to what he had later , he had 2 pupils instead of 3 but he still had it and he attacked Ichibe during their negotiations but Ichibe used the left hand of the soul king to seal Yuha's almighty so he couldn't ,, see ,, anymore . squad 0 members should be higher. also oetsu is the 2nd strongest not senjumaru. remember she asked him if he was sure she should be the one doing the job as for why they need to be higher again remember just one of was able fight the entire royal guards with uryu and hashwalt who were in their vollstandich . had it not been for the quincy king they would have faced greater difficulty. another piece of inconsistency is that icibei will be higher than yamamoto prime or not. sure prime yamamoto will not hold back has greater stats but he has 1 big weakness and that is stamina. merely using bankai while suppressed drained him to the extent he was blitzed and killed where he should be able react to the quincy kings attack. when it comes to stats icibei is far higher than old yamamoto speed wise is 80% base quincy king where icibei clearly and easily overpowered and outspeed the quincy king even after he got stronger with energy of the quincy race. prime yamamoto will have an extra arm and some more stats but not more than icibei. as for hax and ability icibei is obiously far greater than yamamoto. lastly is the fact that icibei has a prime version too in which he had access to the soul kings left arm.

For anyone disagreeing with us, please keep in mind there is no definitive answer (in most cases at least). And this shows when for the same character, I read some people saying he should be placed way higher, while others say he should be way lower. Bleach is actually one of the most difficult anime to scale because many characters are not explicitly stated to be stronger than others and they never fought against each other. Meaning there is a lot of room for discussion on who is stronger than another. I just did what I thought was right after EXTENSIVE research (for reference I watched the anime twice and read the manga 3 times so far)
Aizen did know about his second form. Ulq just thought he didn't. It even shows when aizen tells ichigo he planned all his fights and in the flashback/telling ichigo about it shows ulq in his second form implying that aizen did know about it, and it's actually confirmed by tite in other stories and interviews.
Bro, Aizen was able to bring down the royal palace just by his reiatsu, while everyone in the Soul Society, including Ichigo, could only reach the palace by gathering reiatsu from others. Idk how does it make sense that Ichigo stronger than Aizen? I am just talking about the reiatsu while we can talk about the abilities, immortality and the kido and others. Theres a lot of things that i disagree on this list, and i know thats almost impossible to make a list that everyone agrees. Saying that, the list is Ok but yamamoto beeing stronger than Ichibei is a crime. I liked the fact that you put Aizen above Ichiho its really debatable and most people tend to ichigo but for me its aizen.
In my opinion top 5: 5. Gerard Valkyrie. he can't die he just grows bigger and keeps on fighting if Yhwach didn't take his powers then the Soul Reapers would have lost for sure. 4. Soul King. we haven't seen him actually do anything we only know he holds the three worlds together so we can only assume, but fair enough to say he is prolly in top 5. 3. Yhwach. I feel like all these top 3 characters are closely linked, BUT you ave got to hear me out. Yhwach had Almighty prolly the most broken ability we have seen so far, but he was defeated by Aizen (and Ichigo) and at the time all Aizen had was his Kyoka Suigetsu which was able to confuddle the Almighty ability. 2. Aizen. he never showed Ichigo his sword showing he can make mistakes. 1. Ichigo. Aizen or Ichigo I honestly don't know cause let's assume Ichigo's true bankai or Vasto Lorde form is stronger than Mugetsu we still have to consider Aizen never used his bankai and he must have had one, but this is all just estimation we can get a pretty good guess but we need to see if Aizen has a bankai or not and to see how strong his true bankai and Vasto Lorde form are compared to Mugetsu.

Not a huge deal as its just a title u call it, but ulquiorras "vasto lorde form", is technically inaccurate as hes always been a vasto lorde, even in his base form. Yammy was definitely underwhelming in the series, but the performance of the top 3 also being MORE underwhelming than even grimmjow or 1st release ulquiorra, shows u cant base his power based on how much screen presence he had. Databooks confirm him being the strongest espada in the arrancar arc with his initial release evn surpassing ulquiorras segunda etapa. Why he was beaten by zaraki was because zaraki recieved a buff post noitorra fight due to releasing some if his mental limiters from a near death experience. As shown above, performances r very inaccurate especially in the arraancar arc where its clear the later half was severely rushed. Starrk in the databooks is confirmed to far stronger than barragon,a s its stated with JUST the power he used to try and force shusnui into bankai, it was worthy of num 1. This means with just his stats and cero metralletta, hes already above the espadas ranked lower than him. I know u said u give it to starrk, insteadof barragon, but i wnated to clarify that the difference between the two is huge. Mayuri being as low as he is is insane in my eyes. he was capable of moving faster than a Nemu who was as fast as Kenpachi (Base eyepatch) and consitently kept up with Pernida. @FIRE-yy1zt he has better regeneration, ichigo has no counter to kyoka suigetsu, has hundreds of different kidos and most importantly, has the hogyoku. Ichigo is physically better then aizen in every stat however Aizen would eventually evolve and reach ichigo's level, beating him. Prime example of this was in the fake karakura. Ichigo knew he couldve just kept bullying Aizen however he knew aizen would eventually evolve to his level and beat him which is why he used mugetsu. To put it simply, Aizen would just progressively get stronger than ichigo over the fight, closing the physical gap + Ichigo has zero counters to kyokasuigetsu

No amount of on tge spot planning will stop their bodies from getting squashed while gerard literally can't die unless they detsroy the cross 2. There's very few abilities in bleach that can actually counter intangibility. Meanwhile, lille was stated to be able to adapt to nimayas speed in just base, and has the power to pierce thru anything he likes, bypassing durability 3. The espadas r ranked based on overall power. So whoever is ranked above the other, will win. Noitorra, ulquiorra, starrk, hallibel, yammy, and shawling, all confirm this as its also stated in the databooks. So I can't take ur mix up of espada rankings seriously. 4. Noitorra was stated to have the HARDEST hierro of the espadas, not an indestructible one. Based on their ranks, its clear the espadas above him have the ap to get thru the hierro. 5. Starrks versatility is decent among the top espadas, not high or low, but he is on the highER end. He can split his soul into any weapon he wants. 6. To add on to that, starrk excels at pretty much EVERY aspect of hollow battle, except maybe hierro. Cero, sonido, iq, swordplay, pesquisa. 7. The espada ranking felt confusing to me considering feats we see from a handful of them. I wanna think seeing Barragan was the king for who knows how long and was acknowledged as practically equal to one of the other strongest hollows in the novels should be considered. Ignoring what Aizen says about the whole "higher spirit energy wins" speech, it would be hard for any of the other arrancar to counter Respira even if they may have higher spirit energy. Yammy would be one of the better arrancar if he wasnt just some stereotypical dumb brute with his hidden rank but considering what his ability is it suits him, anger means more strength, too bad we didnt get to see what his 2nd form could do outside of Brave Souls. I still believe he could have potential to be near invincible physically so long as his opponent doesnt one-shot him before his ability kicks in, maybe its how he lost to Zaraki and Byakuya. Then there's Starrk. Its hard to really showcase what his immense spirit energy couldve really done unless he couldve done something similar to the old arcs where stronger characters unleashing their energy force those around them to kneel or something. Meaning during his fight with Shunsui perhaps his spirit energy couldve had a side effect where being near him could disorient or weaken the opponent.
Barragons respira has a rlly slow aging time. Even hachi could react to it before it made it's way to hachis arm. Starrk can fire ceros at a greater rate and faster than barragon can age. Yamms body is huge. Batragon wouldn't be to age a single finger before yammy hits barragon several times either with his fists, or blasts him with a cero. The anime made yammy look pathetic. But this is a post noitorra fight zaraki, where he released some of his mental restrictions due to the near death experience he had agaisnt noitorra. This manga zaraki admitted to 1st form yammy being STRONG, even if he ultimately won in the end. The anime made zaraki talk down on yammy the entire time until yammy fired his cero. Starrk isn't just num 1 just for his rieatsu. He pretty much excels at every aspect of hollow battle, except hierro. And as stated before, his cero metralletta is enough to beta respira. Even in databook unmasked, it says that starrks stats and cero metralletta alone r enough for him to be worthy of num 1.
You can't compare Yamamoto to Ichibei. All 5 of squad 0 members individually are stronger than prime Yamamoto. Ichibei can defeat him with just a Shikai

But the quincy were at a huge advantage during the final fight, they had been given power up by yhwach and soul palace reishi was literally all condensed in them after yhwach turns it into warwelt. If you were to put Gererad, Lille Barrao and Jugram in even playing field that power disparity would be much less. People really fail to see the context of war and how much landscape, stratagey plays a factor in these battles. Just basing it of the feats alone when assesing power.

Ulquiorra's ceros are highly destructive like bambietta's bombs, stark can fire his gun all around, etc etc
3. I disagree with Yoruichi, she's never shown any feats to place her above unohana byakuya mayuri. Her strongest form requires Urahara to feed her something meaning she can't activate it all by herself. I'd place her somewhere between top espadas.
4. Squad 0 feats are held back for plot purposes (that's what i think) so i won't argue for kirio, Tenjiro and oetsu. Although, them choosing senjumaru doesn't mean senju is stronger, they even said that she has 1000 arms so 6 people should be fine to deal with.
5. Urahara < Senjumaru
Senjumaru was able to subdue 4 Schutzaffels alone with her bankai, Urahara with his bankai wasn't able to beat even askin.

7. Shunsui and zaraki couldn't beat one Schutzaffel while senjumaru beat 4, so senjumaru > shunsui and zaraki

For anyone disagreeing with us, please keep in mind there is no definitive answer (in most cases at least). And this shows when for the same character, I read some people saying he should be placed way higher, while others say he should be way lower. Bleach is actually one of the most difficult anime to scale because many characters are not explicitly stated to be stronger than others and they never fought against each other. Meaning there is a lot of room for discussion on who is stronger than another. I just did what I thought was right after EXTENSIVE research (for reference I watched the anime twice and read the manga 3 times so far)
Aizen did know about his second form. Ulq just thought he didn't. It even shows when aizen tells ichigo he planned all his fights and in the flashback/telling ichigo about it shows ulq in his second form implying that aizen did know about it, and it's actually confirmed by tite in other stories and interviews.

No, it was not. Yamma only defeated Ywach after Ichibei tricked Ywach and disabled his allmight with the help of Pernida. That is also why Pernida should be in the top 10, besides defeating Zaraki. However, if the Zaraki from the top 10 is the one from the novels, he should be higher in the list.

Theres a lot of things that i disagree on this list, and i know thats almost impossible to make a list that everyone agrees. Saying that, the list is Ok but yamamoto beeing stronger than Ichibei is a crime. I liked the fact that you put Aizen above Ichiho its really debatable and most people tend to ichigo but for me its aizen.

5. Gerard Valkyrie. he can't die he just grows bigger and keeps on fighting if Yhwach didn't take his powers then the Soul Reapers would have lost for sure.
4. Soul King. we haven't seen him actually do anything we only know he holds the three worlds together so we can only assume, but fair enough to say he is prolly in top 5.
3. Yhwach. I feel like all these top 3 characters are closely linked, BUT you ave got to hear me out. Yhwach had Almighty prolly the most broken ability we have seen so far, but he was defeated by Aizen (and Ichigo) and at the time all Aizen had was his Kyoka Suigetsu which was able to confuddle the Almighty ability.

Aizen or Ichigo I honestly don't know cause let's assume Ichigo's true bankai or Vasto Lorde form is stronger than Mugetsu we still have to consider Aizen never used his bankai and he must have had one, but this is all just estimation we can get a pretty good guess but we need to see if Aizen has a bankai or not and to see how strong his true bankai and Vasto Lorde form are compared to Mugetsu.

Not a huge deal as its just a title u call it, but ulquiorras "vasto lorde form", is technically inaccurate as hes always been a vasto lorde, even in his base form.
Yammy was definitely underwhelming in the series, but the performance of the top 3 also being MORE underwhelming than even grimmjow or 1st release ulquiorra, shows u cant base his power based on how much screen presence he had. Databooks confirm him being the strongest espada in the arrancar arc with his initial release evn surpassing ulquiorras segunda etapa. Why he was beaten by zaraki was because zaraki recieved a buff post noitorra fight due to releasing some if his mental limiters from a near death experience.
As shown above, performances r very inaccurate especially in the arraancar arc where its clear the later half was severely rushed. Starrk in the databooks is confirmed to far stronger than barragon,a s its stated with JUST the power he used to try and force shusnui into bankai, it was worthy of num 1. This means with just his stats and cero metralletta, hes already above the espadas ranked lower than him. I know u said u give it to starrk, insteadof barragon, but i wnated to clarify that the difference between the two is huge.
"Force" ichigo into vasto lorde is misleading as all ulquiorra had to do was be stronger than hollow mask ichigo, and white wouldve come out as vasto lorde ichigo regardless.

Shinji being above Mayuri or Bazz-B is comicial, he could barely handle Bambietta and Komamura had to deal with her.
Mayuri being as low as he is is insane in my eyes. he was capable of moving faster than a Nemu who was as fast as Kenpachi (Base eyepatch) and consitently kept up with Pernida. Unohana, Shinji and Yoruichi do not have feats of that level.
Gremmy being as low as he is is debatable, Id argue he gets bumped up a spot and have kisuke right below him.

Ichigo is physically better then aizen in every stat however Aizen would eventually evolve and reach ichigo's level, beating him. Prime example of this was in the fake karakura. Ichigo knew he couldve just kept bullying Aizen however he knew aizen would eventually evolve to his level and beat him which is why he used mugetsu.
To put it simply, Aizen would just progressively get stronger than ichigo over the fight, closing the physical gap + Ichigo has zero counters to kyokasuigetsu

1. Neither kisuke and shusnui should be higher than gerard unless u give kisuke prep time. No amount of on tge spot planning will stop their bodies from getting squashed while gerard literally can't die unless they detsroy the cross
2. There's very few abilities in bleach that can actually counter intangibility. Meanwhile, lille was stated to be able to adapt to nimayas speed in just base, and has the power to pierce thru anything he likes, bypassing durability
3. The espadas r ranked based on overall power. So whoever is ranked above the other, will win. Noitorra, ulquiorra, starrk, hallibel, yammy, and shawling, all confirm this as its also stated in the databooks. So I can't take ur mix up of espada rankings seriously.
4. Noitorra was stated to have the HARDEST hierro of the espadas, not an indestructible one. Based on their ranks, its clear the espadas above him have the ap to get thru the hierro.
5. Starrks versatility is decent among the top espadas, not high or low, but he is on the highER end. He can split his soul into any weapon he wants.
6. To add on to that, starrk excels at pretty much EVERY aspect of hollow battle, except maybe hierro. Cero, sonido, iq, swordplay, pesquisa.
7. I don't see how noitorra is a higher tier character than ulquiorra.
8. Yammys confirmed to be the strongest espada.
9. Byakuya was tearing as nodt apart with his shikai. Rukia is NOT above him.
10. The only way I see toshiro being lower than unohana kisuke or shunsui is if he starts in his kid form. His adult form scales above eyepatchless shikai zaraki, who is def way stronger than unohana.

The espada ranking felt confusing to me considering feats we see from a handful of them. I wanna think seeing Barragan was the king for who knows how long and was acknowledged as practically equal to one of the other strongest hollows in the novels should be considered. Ignoring what Aizen says about the whole "higher spirit energy wins" speech, it would be hard for any of the other arrancar to counter Respira even if they may have higher spirit energy.
Yammy would be one of the better arrancar if he wasnt just some stereotypical dumb brute with his hidden rank but considering what his ability is it suits him, anger means more strength, too bad we didnt get to see what his 2nd form could do outside of Brave Souls. I still believe he could have potential to be near invincible physically so long as his opponent doesnt one-shot him before his ability kicks in, maybe its how he lost to Zaraki and Byakuya.
Then there's Starrk. Its hard to really showcase what his immense spirit energy couldve really done unless he couldve done something similar to the old arcs where stronger characters unleashing their energy force those around them to kneel or something. Meaning during his fight with Shunsui perhaps his spirit energy couldve had a side effect where being near him could disorient or weaken the opponent.
Barragons respira has a rlly slow aging time. Even hachi could react to it before it made it's way to hachis arm. Starrk can fire ceros at a greater rate and faster than barragon can age. Yamms body is huge. Batragon wouldn't be to age a single finger before yammy hits barragon several times either with his fists, or blasts him with a cero.
The anime made yammy look pathetic. But this is a post noitorra fight zaraki, where he released some of his mental restrictions due to the near death experience he had agaisnt noitorra. This manga zaraki admitted to 1st form yammy being STRONG, even if he ultimately won in the end. The anime made zaraki talk down on yammy the entire time until yammy fired his cero.
Starrk isn't just num 1 just for his rieatsu. He pretty much excels at every aspect of hollow battle, except hierro. And as stated before, his cero metralletta is enough to beta respira. Even in databook unmasked, it says that starrks stats and cero metralletta alone r enough for him to be worthy of num 1.
You can't compare Yamamoto to Ichibei. All 5 of squad 0 members individually are stronger than prime Yamamoto. Ichibei can defeat him with just a Shikai

This is a great list! But the quincy were at a huge advantage during the final fight, they had been given power up by yhwach and soul palace reishi was literally all condensed in them after yhwach turns it into warwelt. If you were to put Gererad, Lille Barrao and Jugram in even playing field that power disparity would be much less. People really fail to see the context of war and how much landscape, stratagey plays a factor in these battles. Just basing it of the feats alone when assesing power.

@ezart8656 byakuya took one shot from initial miracle amped gerard and considered himself at his limit. Zaraki with his eyepatch came in and easily diced that gerard up. Unohana combatted that unsuppressed zaraki no eyepatch in an even sword clash.
