He’s so well rounded. Elite ball carrier who can run through you or step round you, makes big hits but is also a very good technical tackler, breakdown skills of an openside flanker, 6’4 and very explosive so could easily be a great lineout jumper, and can offload. Could genuinely see him being a more physical version of Kieran Read.
I once watched an interview with Celimpilo Gumede, wherein he was asked how he feels about being a no.8 in the Bulls, which is a hotly contested position therein and in SA in general. That question sat with me because Cameron Hanekom looks like he's gonna be the most valuable no.8 for the Bulls going forward.
