Actually, the movie version of this game is Apocalypse Now and this game takes heavy inspiration from Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad( Now you know where the main antagonists name came from)
I'll never forget the white phosphorus sequence as when I first played the sequence three years ago and saw that group of heat signatures, I remember saying out loud, "Wait, those are civilians." Realizing the game wasn't giving me much of a choice, I had to fire it and I then knew what this game was going to be about and how there was an illusion of choice. By the end of the game, I realized just how much that hit home based on the "endings" the game gives you.
This is easily Nolan North's second best performance with Nathan Drake being his best and I wish more people would bring it up to him as no one really talks about his performance in the game.
