I always come back to this performance because I love hearing Liam sing. like everyone, i love the roars like in slide away at Knebworth and all of that aggressive passion, but I truly love hearing him sing like this. especially for someone who didn't really look after it, wasn't trained and got into singing quite late, in comparison to other singers, he really does have a pretty voice and his tone is beautiful.
Nothing comes close to oasis Noel & Liam had something that’ll never be repeated
Fantastic songs from a lyrical genius and the great vocals from the last ever rock n roll star Liam Gallagher
This truly was Oasis. That truly was MTV.
I really can’t get over how beautiful Liam looks here argh
The best bit about growing up in Manchester in the 90s and being a city fan was of course Oasis.
She had no idea how massive they would become 🤑🌟🎸🎶🎙🎤🎼
Actually she was a fan lol
1:41 whatever
7:05 live forever
It's my favorite song thanks 99matsusee
3:11 gave me chills. Noel should’ve been singing on the studio version with Liam during that part!!! You’ll thank me later
So many hits for early days. Amazing!
Shame they never recorded Liam’s vocal in a natural way like this on a record… in a way that captures the raw emotional vulnerability. Not a word you’d use to describe Liam very often… but this is a really special recording of a band on the eve of their supernova.
you need to listen to ,more oasis
Listen to the live forever demo and you’ll find this type of vocals
@@Black7Bluebird I literally just listened to it just before you messaged. Its got Liams vocals. Liam was all about power, Noel is about soul
Married With Children
For me this is the best performance ever.. their voice is soo beautiful and “soft” to hear 😍
Aiye lass. T'was 'class'.
Hey there! Me from Mumbai, you like big derki derki?
Bíblical!!! One of the Best acoustic performances ever!!!
08:30 Vibrato that we dont normally here from Liam, nailed it there
Liam absolutely smashes it here omg
Was born to be seated and sing without moving... The best presence in whole rock history yesterday, now, tomorrow ( Axl rose the same but differently)
I was 20.......and they defined a generation of music and culture......🙏❤
He was able to focus the timbre of his voice through that eye brow.
Simply Love Liam's voice. The way he sings and songs like "I'm outta time" or "Born on a different cloud" always give me peace.
Thank you LIAM for made me Love british accent...For that,I will Love you for ever...😊
I loved this period of Oasis's career. I liked the fact that Noel wore shades all the time and that collarless adidas top which I could not find anywhere. They were absolute perfection, an indie band with an extra spark that the others didn't have.
Beautiful version of 'Live Forever', it makes me cry every time.
I've got a few youtube vids I seem to come back to after having a few too many drinks and this is always one of them. Oasis were just top class back then!
Liams voice is something else on this. No hiding place just great delivery.
Liams voice is just incredible, raw and fresh, even Noel is looking on in ore.
their demeanor cracks me up here...Bonehead looks like he could just as easily be playing a funeral dirge based on his expression, Liam is completely bored, and Noel is just too cool for it all in the shades lol. Sounding fantastic by the way Liam is, just a wonderful voice. 25 yrs ago...just insane.
dr05guitar they are so stoned here, Liam’s in his own little world
Noel wore the shades to hide a black eye from a show on August 9th - the week before they did this tv performance - when an audience member got up and punched him
@@fakedeep6844 lol why. Imagine buying tickets just to punch a guy😆
@@OriginalKingRichTv I know right? sadly around that time before they really exploded in Britain, because of their bad boy image their gigs attracted trouble makers who just wanted to fight them
I don't understand why whatever wasn't included on the album, that song was sooo good
steve It was only recorded afterwards and obviously didn't fit the sound of the album overall.
because they got sued for it and lost money
He rip it off niel innis. I've probably spelt that wrong but whatever..
it was included in Mexico, it's the final song and fits perfectly because of the applause and cheers at the end lol
Noel wanting an orchestra held it back, they had to get money from McGhee two or three times to restart recording...they put it out as a taster of morning glory so it's all good...oh and Bowie wasn't into the all the young dudes rip so they waited...the song may only have been fully finished after the album, some time issue
their Acoustic Version were always so awesome , rock along them legends mates!!!
Liam's voice is like butter, smooth as ya like son!
I feel so blessed i got to see Oasis live
Beard Gains I would too, never got the chance. I am however going to see Liam in Australia later this year, can’t wait
@@JamesG89 it will be biblical my friend
I’m amazed this absolute treasure only has 1.5 million views in 9 years. Stop crying your heart out as 130 in the exact same time.
It is like a long adidas ad
😂😂😂😂
Good one 😁
😂😂 brilliant
I'll always love oasis
This is my favorite band and I just realized that this was performed the day I was born 🥺
I feel honored 💗

Thanks for the upload, I have this on a VHS somewhere, back when MTV had «Oasis weekends» and I was taping everything I came across. Fantastic live versions of both songs.
The song that changed the direction of my life
This version of Live Forever is so good, it’s really mellow and chill I dunno I just love it - and when Liam sings the word fly (10:09) insane
His vocals were untouchable in the 90’s and early 2000’s
ur a crack head insane
I just watched the Liam Gallagher film
As You Were. God bless and thanks for all the music. Glad to see Liam on top again.
