My key fob was stuck, I couldn't open it to change the battery. Not even the mechanic who changed the oil could open it. I just followed your instructions and BOOM! open in seconds. Thank you!!!

My Grand Caravan is a 2011 and the buttons on the key fob failed. I ordered the key fob form Amazon and switched the circuit board to the new one and problem solved. After 2011 the new ones had to be programed by a dealer.

How about a video on how to fix the problem that the remote doesn't work even after installing a new battery? I don't think that the key fobs can be programmed by the owner, meaning that it's a very expensive replacement.

Hey there! Do you mean that a brand new key does not work after fitting a battery, or instead that a fob that worked a-ok before stops working after changing the battery? If we're taling brand new keys, yes they do need to be programmed. Usually if you have two keys already you can program the third yourself, but in most cases you have one key and need a second, then yes again this would need programming. It does not have to be done by a main dealer. There are some other options to do it DIY that hopefully we can look into in the future!

I have bought several inexpensive key fobs from eBay moving the old circuit board, installing new batteries but it doesn't seem to do any good. I even took the eBay key fob to a dealer for programming and it worked for a little while and then stopped, so I was back to where I began. Sometimes the key fob works but mostly it does not. So it may be the receiver in the vehicle?
Perhaps a video on do-it-yourself programming using cheap eBay key fobs?

Binding it to the body computer would be great. This problem is solved with the help of the built in key. Though for nubbies this can be useful.

Yes, this video is specifically showing how to change the keyfob battery. This video is not for key programming. We are hoping to be able to do a key programming video in the future too though :-)
