Was changing out for a 2008 Grand Caravan for my mom this morning and found it had a back door leading to the battery. At first I thought the door would not allow room to replace, but as I pried and the case wasn't coming apart easily, I removed the door again and popped out the battery with a tiny screwdriver. Much appreciated. :D Just leaving for future reference for anyone with a similar setup. I thought the fob was OEM (as the vehicle was purchased from dealership at 2 years old), but it may be an aftermarket version.

fwiw I did not use a srewdriver to open the fob as shown here. I tried but I was pushing so hard to get in the gap that I was afraid of breaking the fob cover.
I used the thin edge of a pen knife instead. It slides in easily, and a little twist was all it took to separate the two halves.
Also, not mentioned in this video, is the fact that there is a thin gasket between the two halves. You want to be sure not to disturb or twist it in any way, otherwise, you won't be able to snap the two halves back together.
Did this and buttons wont press down that well?

My 2017 Caravan started honking and auto started and shut off and kept honking. Is that a battery problem?

There is a key that is hidden in the fob which will get you into the van.
How do you get to the key?
@@uber2tuber look at the key fob near the end where the split ring is and notice the ridges...slide these to the left and at the same time pull the ring out....
