I lost one of my best friends that a grew up with since kindergarten. He got diagnosed with leukemia halfway through 8th grade and left school. I was the last person to see him and talk to him on his last day at school and that was the last time I talked to him. We did a whole bunch of fundraisers at the school and at the end of the summer, we had a week before 9th grade started, he passed away. Our football team had already won our first state championship and they dedicated the next season to him because all the guys in my grade were on varsity then. They won a second championship, back to back champions, for him. The year was rough, the funeral was rough because I didn't think it would get to me until the songs played and the slideshow and I was in almost every picture. It made realize, oh hes really gone. This guy I spent everyday with for the past 11 years is gone and im never gonna see him again. Cherish your friends and family. You never know when something can happen
And since I went to school with him I also know his other family members like his cousin she was really sweet for graduation they left his seat empty and put his jersey and some flowers so people who knew him and others who didn't would remember him and the year he was supposed to/going to graduate
I remember when I was in high school it was the night before the championship game me n 6 of my teammates was celebrating that we came this far being undefeated one of the cheerleaders we knew was fighting cancer that night of the game was the last nun of us would have wanted our best friend to watch us we one for her still we miss her
When you've had a death of a student, especially a student who has touched many lives, it is hard to put one foot in front of the other. I've been to several funerals for kids I knew, and there are just no words that can really give the grieving family any form of comfort. Nothing.
always sad to hear a child has passed away, but for them to want to play on in his honor really speaks to their honor, i dont know how or why anyone would dislike this video, i hope its because it was the loss of the child and his mother, if its not for that, then those who do dislike it truly have no heart, R.I.P young man

I can totally relate to this because back in October, the BHS community lost 2 current seniors, Faith Woods and Adlai Estes, due to a single vehicle crash on county highway a in between Baraboo and Wisconsin Dells.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I am anti "bad cop" and anti "cop cover up," tho i stand firmly with our "good cops." i obviously didnt know your father, but if for nothing else, the should have respected the human on the other side of the badge.

Last year we played a team in our district who lost a player due to an accident so they came out with his jersey and both sides paid tribute to him.
