Singing Camp 2023 Performance

8/4/23 - It was heartwarming to witness the passion and talent of young vocalists as they brought their amazing creative energy to their performances this summer! We are incredibly proud of how much they accomplished in just 1 week of a half-day camp. The growth we saw in their confidence levels and vocal skills was absolutely remarkable. We hope it touched your heart as much as it touched ours.
In addition to working on our performance pieces, our week was full of an eclectic mix of "choral-oke," singing games, traditional folk dancing, and classic campfire folk songs. We feel it's important to keep these traditions alive, and we hope they pass them along to their friends for "good old-fashioned fun" together away from technology.
Our campers drew inspiration from our guest vocalist, Madelyn Knight, and learned about proper singing techniques, performance tips, musicality and learning tools such as solfege. We had a lot of laughs and smiles -- especially on Thursday's Costume Day! 😆 There were many sweet friendships and great memories made. 💚
