I have the plus size, interracial and I’m 19 years older than him! Most everyone is really awesome about it and he makes me feel amazing! He too said it was my confidence. We both came out of 20 year relationships and are the first we have both been with since our breakups which was almost five years for me and over two years for him. He has some work to do though.... sometimes I feel like I’m just filling in the gap on the intimacy side for him. I love the concept and transparency of this video. Growing up as a 90s baby with the norms being a body type I won’t ever have defiantly played a role in self confidence. I was thin when I met my husband. We got married and I was thin. We’ve now been together 12 years married 10 and my body is 100% different after kids etc. My husband honestly is more in love as time has went on. In fact, he told me it’s not at all about weight. It’s about confidence. I can say getting off of social media and stopping comparison and reading the book “women don’t owe you pretty.” All game changers. My new mantra is show up for me first and the rest will follow 💋

Girl, I'm 5'8 and 250lbs and my man is 5'5 at 150lbs so we definitely break multiple societal norms. But he's my high school sweetheart and we're going on 13 years strong. It was hard in the beginning when introducing him to new people and family.We would always hear "She's big and he's short. That don't work" The fact of the matter is we are happy. Hearing all the dudes comment on other women at the tournament, then seeing the pictures we took, and comparing myself.to other women on the team got me down. Reflecting on playing ball with my bf, having confidence on the field, and being spiritual with others in between games reminds me that my value is so much more than the shell my body came in. My husband was the first man that I’d ever met that said, “I don’t find thin women as attractive as heavier girls.” In the 90’s in high school, I lost weight and the guys came crawling out of the woodwork to date me and that screwed with my head so badly because they admitted they liked me but didn’t want to date before I’d lost the weight. My husband’s acceptance of my body but his love of my mind and personality helped me let go of my own feelings of inadequacy and not being “socially acceptable”. I have high confidence like you but it took YEARS. I have a friend that I try to uplift but she truly believes being heavier makes her undesireable. She's literally attempting to lose 40lbs before dating in person and it saddens as I'm a true believer in loving yourself before someone can love you.

If a woman is losing weight solely for the purpose of attracting a man, what happens once she has him and gains the weight back? Anyways I use to weigh 375 lbs but I changed my eating habits and started walking 2 miles a day I am now down to 264 lbs and feeling confident and beautiful I have a bubbly personality that just makes ppl smile I get along with everyone 😁

But lately I have been feeling so much more confident and I have to thank Dani for that too, for the longest I felt like I had to hide my body and cover my belly but seeing Dani and other influencers who are my size and have my body shape be confident and fashionable has been super inspiring for me to wear whatever I want. I have the plus size, interracial and I’m 19 years older than him! Most everyone is really awesome about it and he makes me feel amazing! He too said it was my confidence. We both came out of 20 year relationships and are the first we have both been with since our breakups which was almost five years for me and over two years for him. He has some work to do though.... sometimes I feel like I’m just filling in the gap on the intimacy side for him. But he knows when I say something I mean it, so either he’s going to step up or he’s not going to be in my life. I love the concept and transparency of this video. Growing up as a 90s baby with the norms being a body type I won’t ever have defiantly played a role in self confidence. I was thin when I met my husband. We got married and I was thin. We’ve now been together 12 years married 10 and my body is 100% different after kids etc. My husband honestly is more in love as time has went on. In fact, he told me it’s not at all about weight. It’s about confidence. I can say getting off of social media and stopping comparison and reading the book “women don’t owe you pretty.” All game changers. My new mantra is show up for me first and the rest will follow 💋

Girl, I'm 5'8 and 250lbs and my man is 5'5 at 150lbs so we definitely break multiple societal norms. But he's my high school sweetheart and we're going on 13 years strong. It was hard in the beginning when introducing him to new people and family.We would always hear "She's big and he's short. That don't work" The fact of the matter is we are happy. It helps that he makes me feel beautiful every day and he's defended me about my size and height. I do the same in regards to his height. Reflecting on playing ball with my bf, having confidence on the field, and being spiritual with others in between games reminds me that my value is so much more than the shell my body came in. Then my bf and I had a great talk about how he's never had anyone talk to him about my size and how he's only seen my bright and confident soul gave me so much reassurance.

My husband was the first man that I’d ever met that said, “I don’t find thin women as attractive as heavier girls.” In the 90’s in high school, I lost weight and the guys came crawling out of the woodwork to date me and that screwed with my head so badly because they admitted they liked me but didn’t want to date before I’d lost the weight. My husband’s acceptance of my body but his love of my mind and personality helped me let go of my own feelings of inadequacy and not being “socially acceptable”.
