I'm a fan and yup he's compassionate 1-1 and empathetic about communication within a relationship, but he definitely played it clumsily on twitter when he dumped on the fat model. No one's a perfect lobster!
Yeah I agree. I saw that today and I was surprised by his response. She wasn’t even comparatively very fat. Maybe something along the lines of “promoting an unhealthy BMI is wrong” rather than “not beautiful,” since that’s subjective.
IF you want your partner to lose weight and be attractive, you have two options, 1. The straight forward approach where you lay it all out on the table and let the cards land where they may 2. The side door approach, "honey, your weight issue is going to catch up with you sooner than you think and Im not interested in being a young widower, the time to upgrade your health and future is now, so we need to change your diet, practice stress tolerance exercises, see a good dietician (not one that believes in the food pyramid, run from those) and possibly health counseling to reveal the triggers that cause you to over-eat and/or be inactive."
@@jameslucena1020 Oh yeah, the slimy, non-moral approach where you treat women in you life as well as yourself like a meaningless piece of meat. Bravo!🤣 Good luck with that!
Option 3: Find something that fits your standards. Do you really want your offspring to carry the same weak metabolism genetics just because of your emotional state? Sounds selfish. (Or: like a lack of options).
Jordan clearly lacks the finesse in that. Nowadays it's immoral, almost blasphemous to discuss a woman's weight, let alone your wife's. Your supposed to blindly accept her no matter how she changes, or if she becomes a guy etc. You have no will in this. Unlike her, she's allowed to criticize you (most often rightfully), of course. These are the social rules of the west ;)
Men are so delusional on this topic. The statistics are clear that obesity is more prevalent in men in America than in women. More women are accepting fat, bald men than the other way around. The issue of being overweight is a population-level problem.
I agree that you can't fool yourself about what you are attracted to ...

Neither approach works in the real world.
I wish my partner would take her health more seriously, but after seven years she won't change...

Tell her to go on the carnivore diet. She will no longer be over weight.
People are being told catastrophic advice regarding dietary advice.
Learn how to wield big words before you start throwing them around
