- Flying throughout The Bahamas has its pro's and con's. Its always a beautiful sight to see with the different shades of blue in our waters but when the weather gets sketchy it all goes downhill. Only two of the islands have approved approaches, everything else is visual approaches. Join me on a flight from the capitol to a very popular tourist destination, Cat Island. I love seeing these videos because i want to fly for western air in the future and it inspires me. Starting my journey from the simulators to the real deal. Studied aviation since age 10 and wanted to be a pilot at 5 and loved toy airplanes at an even younger age.
