A lot of people say the reason why Steve Perry is so good is due to his incredible voice and amazing falsetto. While yes, that is a large part of it, the thing some people seek to forget is his stage personality. Nothing to do with rights. You had to be able to attract enough people to pay for the venue and pay the bills. Good bands did well because they sold records and filled stadiums, providing a product that people were willing to pay for. Pure capitalism.
@@dangermartin69 : Well, at least, for once, it was good capitalism, which is not always, the case. Honestly though, did people overall, have better taste 30, 40 and 50 years ago or what? Now a days, people will pay to see any old crap at all, and think it's good. I don't get it. My Best. Out.

Ooh, the wheel in the sky keeps turnin'
Wheel in the sky keeps on turnin'
Steve not content with delivering a classic rock song with a world class vocal, but intent on working that crowd as much as he can. Great stuff.
One the Best Bands ever !
The best voice❤😊
He sings from heaven ! Incredible!!!!!
Steve Perry is a bad ass! The whole band is just freaking amazing! ❤
These guys were all zoned into their craft. They were a legit band.
Greatest singer of all time--American classic...The greatest American singer ever..So reminds me of growing up in San Jose/San Francisco !
Most incredible band always and forever. Still my favorite after xxx years 😂. And Steve Perry…there’s NO one like him. The GOAT of singers. ❤❤❤❤. And thank you for making a song for me (oh Sherry). ❤
I'm there 😍
Clearest, baddest and most fine voice in rock ❣️
Ross Valory and Steve Smith have to be one of the tightest rhythm sections. Phenomenal groove!
I was one of many that was at this concert at the Summit to see Journey this night. It was electrifying to all the senses to see the girls go crazy and here the tunes that caused a deep feeling and being a guy to see this was unforgettable. Thank you Journey for the ride. I have been to numerous concerts of yours but this was the best.
Steve Perry said that when he was younger, he never thought that he had a good enough voice to be a singer. His Mother encouraged him to go for it.
Most singers hate their own voice....
Good thing he had such support from a loving family, otherwise we wouldn't have such great music
Steve Perry's dad was a singer, so , I am thinking Steve was a born singer.
this is so good
Steve this song is great
Thanks
When your there in the crowd and it’s just magic I’ll never forget this concert…I love this Journey. Steve always gave the best performance he poured everything in his shows. Saw them more than once and he always was fantastic
Those people that had a chance to see a concert like this are the luckiest. So sad I won't be experiencing a concert like this.
What an amazing rendition of the song.
Back in the days when you had to be a great musican to even have the right to perform live...
So true. Journey does it great
Nothing to do with rights. You had to be able to attract enough people to pay for the venue and pay the bills. Good bands did well because they sold records and filled stadiums, providing a product that people were willing to pay for. Pure capitalism.
Quite true. Every person on this stage is a SERIOUS player/ singer
@@dangermartin69 : Well, at least, for once, it was good capitalism, which is not always, the case.
Honestly though, did people overall, have better taste 30, 40 and 50 years ago or what? Now a days, people will pay to see any old crap at all, and think it's good. I don't get it.
My Best. Out.
precisely...
Wow - what a voice and such an excellent band, looooove this song.
That 2.29-3.18 break is pure rock heaven
Matteo Napolitano no kidding
That part isn't included in the original studio version. Just great 👍
I love the spin move Steve does!!!
Notni
Absolutely awesome solo. He's playing it on the bridge humbucker, would like to know which one it is
an incredibly awesome group... today they would be mega stars... unbeatable...
His vocals are unreal O.O
Wow! That was beyond awesome... jammin base line...Heck, they were all so talented.. Steve's voice beautiful as usual!
I am just here enjoying Perry's angelic voice and those freaking tight jeans on him👀👀
I think everyone enjoyed that, even some men 👀
It's August of 2020 and I am still enjoying those sexy jeans too. Only he can rock those tight pants. My eyes seems to follow him all over that stage. What a gift even now. I love me some Steve Perry then and now. Forever 🤩😍❤️😍 his fan in Cleveland Ohio
Love Steve Perry so much! ❤ ❤
I'm feeling a little devilish right now. But and this is for the ladies only. I read somewhere that our Steve didn't wear any underwear . now can you imagine that I knew I love those tight jeans 🤩😏😏🤩. love me some Steve Perry forever his fan in Cleveland Ohio 2020

The greatest singer ever.
This song live was lot better than recorded
Journey was at their peak at this time. So tight. Live perfection. Nothing will top the music of the 80s.
