Everyone has that "One". The one that they didn't tell how they felt, the one that they let go, the one that should have been. This is the Anthem for all those that never were.... Beautiful song, makes me cry every time I listen to it because I know she is still out there and always will be.
Oh wow. You nailed with that! I was 18. I didn't tell him how much I loved him. Big mistake! As he was about to walk out of my life forever, I called out to him and asked if we could still be friends. I couldn't bear the thought of never knowing what happened to him. I cried for him for 10 years. He would actually call me every so often. We stayed in touch. I always loved him. I never wanted to be his friend. I'm 64 now. After being friends on Facebook for 10 years with no contact (after the initial, Hi! You look great. How have you been?) I started going nuts and messaged him. I needed closure badly. We had a long talk, and we shared a lot of things we hadn't shared when we were young. It left me with a lot to think about. He was engaged at the time and he did get married. I told him I needed time to think about what he had told me. And believe me, I thought long and hard, for over a year. So, after 46 years I realized the only way I could move on was to let him go, completely. So, without warning, I unfriended him. I doubt he'll be too upset. Was there a little bit of revenge in there. Yes, but he moved on a long long time ago. Older and wiser but love still hurts. And I do take responsibility for the mistakes I made in our relationship.

This song came out the year my stepfather died of bone cancer. That was 30 some years ago,and everytime I hear this song I am reminded that he will always be with me wherever I go. The song strikes a cord in the deepest part of those memories he gave to me,even the memories of his suffering and untimely death. I still think of him and cry over his death till this day. Thanks dad for taking care of me.
Nice words. I’m a stepdad too and love my step children like they’re my own. They all call me Dad and believe I’m better to them than their biological father.
The Flame Cheap Trick Another night slowly closes in And I feel so lonely Touching heat freezing on my skin I pretend you still hold me I'm going crazy, I'm losing sleep I'm in too far, I'm in way too deep over you I can't believe you're gone You were the first, you'll be the last Wherever you go, I'll be with you Whatever you want, I'll give it to you Whenever you need someone To lay your heart and head upon Remember, after the fire, after all the rain I will be the flame I will be the flame Watching shadows move across the wall I feel so frightened I wanna run to you, I wanna call But I've been hit by lightning Just can't stand up for fallin' apart Can't see through this veil across my heart, over you You'll always be the one You were the first, you'll be the last Wherever you go, I'll be with you Whatever you want, I'll give it to you Whenever you need someone To lay your heart and head upon Remember, after the fire, after all the rain I will be the flame I will be the flame I'm going crazy, I'm losing sleep I'm in too far, I'm in way too deep over you You'll always be the one You were the first, you'll be the last Wherever you go, I'll be with you Whatever you want, I'll give it to you Whenever you need someone To lay your heart and head upon Remember, after the fire, after all the rain I will be the flame I will be the flame Whatever you want, I'll give it to you Wherever you go, I'll be with you And whatever you want, I'll give it to you
In 1987 I met a girl and for a variety of reasons,on both our parts , we couldn't be together.14 yrs later we reconnect and Find out that whenever this song came on both of us dreamed of each other. We have a beautiful daughter and are living our dream life .We both still get goosebumps when we hear it.
I've seen Cheap trick twice and get to see them again next weekend. LOVE this group. They are my husband's favorite group, and The Flame is our song. Cannot wait to see them again! Robin Zander's voice is amazing.
I lost my beautiful wife after 32 years together 3 years ago. When he sang “you were the first, you’ll be the last” it really hit hard. I miss you Deb.
@@vaughangregory-hunt4094 same here. He was the hero I never had. I am only 58, who will be the hero now? Maybe he taught me all I needed to know except for one thing, how to live without him.
Ms Diane,so sorry to hear of ur loss I lost my own at 16 n my sister just lost hers within the last hour The Flame was third song as well..I wish u peace n Gods mercy n grace, bless u honey Donna
@@dianebaum91 this comment hit home. I lost my husband in 2004. We met when I was 15 and he was 16. We grew up together. Always together. He was 29 and I was 28 when he past away. I always thought life put us together so we and teach each other something. But it’s true.. the one thing we dnt learn is how to live without one another.
When I've lost someone close to me, w heat I'll do is wait for the pain to ease a bit, and then I'll visit where they are. And then when the weather allows it, I'll take a trip to wherever I can get a good view of the night sky. And while I'm contemplating the vastness of the cosmos, I remember what many have said - that our spirits take a place amongst the stars. And at some point, I'll feel a cool breeze that I'm convinced is the spirit of the departed saying that I have not left you and never will. And then we will meet again on that distant shore in a better place. Hopefully you can find solace in this. Peace.
so wish i could relive the 80s was the best time of my 55 years (except having my 2 kids) and i cannot let the 80's music die it lives in me till i die best ever!!!!
Just saw Cheap Trick in Cincinnati last night and this song was one of the big highlights. Such a beautiful tune. Cheap Trick may be one of the most underrated rock bands in US history. So damn good.
Every. Single. Time. Stephanie, I choke back the tears and memories flood my head with pictures I never took. I think of my high school girlfriend, Jill... and wonder what she's doing 25 years later. Tears... beautifully painful.
Cheap Trick - The Flame,One of the Greatest Love Songs of All Time."The Flame" is a ballad written by British songwriters Bob Mitchell and Nick Graham. The song was first offered to English singer Elkie Brooks, who turned it down, and was then released by Cheap Trick, for which it was a hit single in 1988.
when you hear a song like this, you realize that they pour their heart and soul into it. the 80s was such an incredible time for music. like many of you, I also share the notion that there was something special about that time and music that sadly cannot be replicated today. too bad for this generation; it was such an incredible time!
The Flame by Cheap Trick was my husband and myself song. He rarely danced but this song was played he would dance slow to it. We definitely loved this song. Now that he has passed away I still listen to it. It brings so much joy and loved mermories
I'm 33 and refuse to listen to anything after 1989 unless it's something a classic band has put out! Mötley Crüe have been my heroes since I was 3 but I also love cheap trick
R.E.M. Losing My Religion was the song of the year in 91. Great song. Not much came after that to me. I was 14 in 1977 and the list of great albums that came out that year is long. The year before was a little album titled Hotel California. What a great decade to have been a kid. In 89 I was just getting out of the Navy.
I turned 18 in 1980. I couldn't have asked to have been born at a better time! The 80's was one hell of a ride! Great music, loose women and President Reagan! Life was great! I honestly don't know how I managed to survive it! It's long gone but I have my memories and we'll always have the music!
In 1980, I turned 22...4 years older than you and my fiancee and i had broken up and i thought life was over. I still have the wedding rings he gave me in 1978. He turned out to be a drug addict on heroin...so he messed up the life of another girl and their kids. Glad it wasnt me....he just passed of a drug overdose...and we still loved each other. Love this song..
They just don't make great music like this anymore ! These 80 power ballad songs bring back so many awesome memories. I sometimes shed a tear of joy from the good memories these songs give me .
Nicky, you have that right! I love Cheap Trick, The Flame and just about anything 80's! What an eclectic variety of music produced in a 10 yr. span! I don't think we'll ever see it again! The artist's and music were just so good! And the personalities and charisma! Thank God for CD's and the internet!
I feel this.. I still fight w/ my family everytime I see them.. I’m broken because of them but nothing w/ out them.. take care and May God bless you like he has done for me ;]

I was born in 1960 and I have to honestly say in my opinion that the music from the '50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's had a huge impact on my upbringing. Just for the fact it had such great talent. I honestly like a big diverse amount of talent from the 4 era's except for a choice few groups. I will leave it at that but I truly like Cheap Trick for the fact Robin has an amazing voice.
I was born in the 70’s and I’d prefer listening to the music of 50’s up to the 90’s ,and for me were far too good to listen to,and how lucky I was to grow up into these kind of music.🥰🥰🥰❤️🇵🇭🇦🇺
Damn. The look he gives the camera at 2:31 makes my knees go weak. What a vocal range this man has - soft and smoky, to crystal and sweet, to raspy screams, just wow. As a whole, Cheap Trick ticks every single box for Best Rock Band ever. And my vote also goes to Best Lead Vocalist, in case that wasn't clear...
My first innocent true love on-and-off relationship from the beginning of third grade until the end of sixth grade (sixth graders went to junior high back then in my district; I’m 57 now) looked like this lead singer but with shorter feathered golden-blond hair and blue eyes. Every time I see this singer when he was younger like this, I always remember Andy. But he broke my heart over a lie told about me to him and ended our relationship at the last school dance that year. Shortly thereafter, I moved hundreds of miles away. I never saw him again. Life went on, and I ended up marrying a man, the love of my life, completely different from Andy years and years later and have been married to him for coming on 40 years now. Had Andy not broken my heart and I not have moved away, I never would have wound up with the right guy for me who has never believed a lie about me. Funny how things work out like that...by God’s Hand alone! But I still remember the sweet moments of yesteryear before the heartbreak when I watch this band play in their earlier days. ☺️
Omg, I absolutely love this song!! I keep playing it over and over. It goes straight to your soul!!! These were the good Ole days!!! It won't ever be like that again and I'm so glad I grew up during these times!!! Great memories!!!
The 80s were truly special, and it's intriguing to consider that their uniqueness might be amplified by the fact that those times are gone - almost as if their special quality is eternal precisely because they are no more.
I remember dancing with a girl at the prom to this song 34 years ago. She's sitting in the chair next to me watching TV. My biggest wish in life is that our son finds the same thing.
@@1stand2ndtimearound67 Just FYI: The Flame was written by two British song writers. A female singer was offered this song but turned it down. Lucky for Cheap Trick and the rest of us that she did.
Greg M Couldn’t agree more! I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 48 years now and I get it! When you’re a music lover time and age mean nothing! To all you young people, even we older folks can appreciate good music! I grew up in the 60’s, Army and Vietnam in 69 and 70. We had all the best music! This however is a great song.
Frank Baker You're damn right, this is a good song. A damned good, GREAT song!!!!!! And no matter how "old" you get, keep on rockin' in, and try not to lose your heart-- or your spunk!!😎😎
I'm 41 and my mom introduced me to cheap trick in the 80's. This has always been one of my favorite songs ever. I won tickets to see them in 93 from the local radio station. 101.5kgb. Thanks mom 😘
An old boyfriend told me this was his song to me and to think of him when I heard it. At the time I had a newborn baby with a guy who had cheated on me after the baby was born and I wanted my child to have his father so even though I cared for the other guy very much, I chose to stay with the babies father. Ive thought about him alot over the years, but lost touch with him. I recently found out that he had passed away at only 50 yrs old. It completely broke my heart to know he is gone. Hearing this song again after all these years has a different meaning for me, more so now knowing he is gone.😭💔😥 Rest easy Chris McCabe, you were and always will be in my heart.
Some people who live in our memory are more valuable than anything thing the present day has on auction. There are beautiful women and eccentric characters I will never forget. And then there is garbage I forget before I even know it’s name
I can’t imagine any other person singing this song. Steve Perry is my favorite singer. I served in the Air Force and heard his voice in a lot of countries where I was stationed. When walking down the streets of Songton City, you could here his voice/music on every corner. Rock on Mr. Perry and God Bless❤. Please come to South Carolina if you tour again.😊
those who were not born and experience the life in the 80s,im sorry to say but you missed the greatest decade of the 20th century.this is truly the decade you will die for just to bring it back,we are very fortunate enough that we experience all the drama, the excitement, the happiness, the very good music plus the cold war in the 1980s.oh I really love the 80s life,if only I could turn back time.
what a self righteous and arrogant attitude. Every decade has had its shit and good and always will. Your parents were saying the same about your youth. Everyone feels their childhood was exceptional/special because childhood is a magical time, the 80s were not special.
This came out in June '88 when my newborn son's dad walked out on me. Now 33 years later my son died. This song literally breaks my heart now, the words hit different 😭💔 gregg33mom
This song touches my soul. The love of my life died years ago, and this song captures the essence of our marriage. I'm forever grateful to Cheap Trick for this.
I'd be honored if some fans of 80s power ballads would check out my acoustic piano & vocal covers of AGAINST ALL ODDS by Phil Collins and SISTER CHRISTIAN by Night Ranger on my channel in tribute to the masters. Live acoustic with no autotune. Thanks and peace.
The Music of the 80's & 90's was the best, in terms of writings, delivery, feelings, & instrumental presentations. Today's Millennials have absolutely no clue about things in general. Those were times where artist; regardless of musical taste, had to play their instruments & perform @ the same time. I've built a "Time Ship" & I'm going back to the 80's on a one way trip! There's plenty of room, anyone wanna come along?
A very Happy 71st Birthday Robin Wayne Zander. Born in Beloit, Wisconsin January 23, 1953. Robin joined Cheap Trick 50 years ago. 1974.. R & R Hall of Fame induction proves they are a great rock and roll band. Many, many more Robin Wayne..
@@reggaefan2700 - I realize that. I was comparing him to 80’s singers who partied WAY to much, and didn’t take care of their voice. Jon Bon Jovi, and Vince Neil are perfect examples!!!
Hell yer, I'm 50s now and we grew up real men. Play fights. Falling out of trees, and blooded knees, and my dad would say.....just a flesh wound. You'll live.. If I could go back in time it would be to my childhood, and with what I know now, I d never of let my true love ever go,and told her that every day. I cant imagine growing up today, it must be hell on earth, always in the cool gear ect, where as we grew up in our families hand me down clothes, i did say no way to underwear though and not my sisters clothes either lol. 😂
My high school sweetheart who was my first and I still talk to each other to this day. 50 Years later and both of us are single. We had our 1st date in 48 years in 2022. It was GREAT. Both of us have been single for over 25 years. I still love her, but we live 1850 miles apart. Wish I knew what to do!!!
Kelly, be very careful what you wish for, Love and Pain are two sides of the same coin. the GREATER the LOVE, the deeper the Pain cuts when something happens...
Probably said in the comments on here already but, Robin Zander is one of the best vocalists from that era. Very underrated as well. Still sounds amazing live as well.
Watch The CT episode of Live at Darryl's House. Zander hasn't lost a thing. Great tracks with an amazing house band. "No Direction" is mind blowingly pulled off to perfection.
I love Robin Zanders voice. This song has been one of my favorites ever since it came out. It just pops up in my brain and then I gotta watch the video again because I gotta see Robin singing it. ❤
This is mine and my husband song he dedicated this song to me when I was 16 yrs old .we have been married 28 yrs .And to this day i get emotional when I hear this song .
gerimerrymuffin ...This song holds emotional memories for me. I used to work in the music scene for some time. I used to do concert security in California, San Francisco bay area where I'd seen Cheap Trick a couple of times with Heart. later, I did stagehand work in Virginia Beach, Va. and caught Cheap Trick again as the crew I worked with set them up for a private party at OCEANA NAVAL AIR STATION military base. They were celebrating the retirement of the F-114 fighter jet and bringing in the F-118. I also operated a spotlight and when the band did certain songs..like this one, I would get teared up and making it difficult to keep an eye on certain band members in order to keep them in the light...lol. I did good, but I had to wipe my eyes.
Classic rock. Tears me up hearing it now. The feelings and crushes I had in high school all come back to fruition and totally Fucks me up! Miss that simple feeling and wish it would last forever.
it was good times with friends, great music and hoping it would never end ! i wish the 80's had never ended, i want to go back knowing what i know now !
I agree Bryan. It was a lot simpler in every way. And it was more fun in every way. Technology is turning the human race into a bunch of freaks....... I wish I was wrong about that.

Born in the 50’s and still listening. Music of our past creates a timeline for us. Every important moment in life is assigned a song.
We were the greatest generation ever
Ain’t that the truth
There are certain 80’s songs that give me an overwhelmingly painful and bittersweet sense of nostalgia. This is definitely one of them.
Me too.
I remember this played at the base club every night 1988.

Thanks dad for taking care of me.

Lo vas a volver a ver OTRA VEZ, eso es garantizado!!
Nice words. I’m a stepdad too and love my step children like they’re my own. They all call me Dad and believe I’m better to them than their biological father.
That's why they're called Step Dad's because he step up to raise another person kid and may he R.I.P
Sorry..

Cheap Trick
Another night slowly closes in
And I feel so lonely
Touching heat freezing on my skin
I pretend you still hold me
I'm going crazy, I'm losing sleep
I'm in too far, I'm in way too deep over you
I can't believe you're gone
You were the first, you'll be the last
Wherever you go, I'll be with you
Whatever you want, I'll give it to you
Whenever you need someone
To lay your heart and head upon
Remember, after the fire, after all the rain
I will be the flame
I will be the flame
Watching shadows move across the wall
I feel so frightened
I wanna run to you, I wanna call
But I've been hit by lightning
Just can't stand up for fallin' apart
Can't see through this veil across my heart, over you
You'll always be the one
You were the first, you'll be the last
Wherever you go, I'll be with you
Whatever you want, I'll give it to you
Whenever you need someone
To lay your heart and head upon
Remember, after the fire, after all the rain
I will be the flame
I will be the flame
I'm going crazy, I'm losing sleep

To lay your heart and head upon
Remember, after the fire, after all the rain
I will be the flame

In 1987 I met a girl and for a variety of reasons,on both our parts , we couldn't be together.14 yrs later we reconnect and Find out that whenever this song came on both of us dreamed of each other. We have a beautiful daughter and are living our dream life .We both still get goosebumps when we hear it.
I can relate. My husband and I dated at 17, broke up, and finally got back together and got married 16 years later. We have 3 boys now.

I've seen Cheap trick twice and get to see them again next weekend. LOVE this group. They are my husband's favorite group, and The Flame is our song. Cannot wait to see them again! Robin Zander's voice is amazing.

My husband loved this song, so do i, i played it at his funeral in November 😭. Means soo much to us both x
Sorry for your loss. It's good your love lasted a lifetime.
Peace.
I'm so sorry about your loss!
A widow 25 years now, hang in there... memories and great music will always make you smile. God Bless ❤️🔥

A song that breaks your heart, transcends time, and heals your pain. Incredible voice and music.

Just saw Cheap Trick in Cincinnati last night and this song was one of the big highlights. Such a beautiful tune. Cheap Trick may be one of the most underrated rock bands in US history. So damn good.
I just seen them at blossom 2 weeks ago... unbelievable
Anyone else ball their eyes out to this? it's just so evocative. I miss the eighties so much.

Every. Single.

One of the all time great rock vocal performances. Incredible.
when you hear a song like this, you realize that they pour their heart and soul into it. the 80s was such an incredible time for music. like many of you, I also share the notion that there was something special about that time and music that sadly cannot be replicated today. too bad for this generation; it was such an incredible time!
JC Valentin So so true❤️
Too bad they hate it so much it almost never gets played in concert. Which sucks cause I think its one of their best!
What's more amazing is that they were trashing this song on the set of the video for this song

Im so sorry for your loss.
At 28 years old, this is my all time favorite song. I love music from the 70's - 80's. The "musicians" nowadays need to take notes.
I'm 33 and refuse to listen to anything after 1989 unless it's something a classic band has put out! Mötley Crüe have been my heroes since I was 3 but I also love cheap trick
Saw Motley Crue in concert with Hinder. Great show! ☺
i get to see heart, chip trick and Joan jett live in one concert this August
R.E.M. Losing My Religion was the song of the year in 91. Great song. Not much came after that to me. I was 14 in 1977 and the list of great albums that came out that year is long. The year before was a little album titled Hotel California. What a great decade to have been a kid. In 89 I was just getting out of the Navy.
im used to 70s80s music, kids now paying $200.00 - 300.00 for concerts, i dont remember seeing 10 year olds at concerts
I don't know how many hundreds of times I've heard this song... it NEVER gets old. What a classic.
I never knew how lucky i was to live all these 80s music.. its the best and never replaced
I turned 18 in 1980. I couldn't have asked to have been born at a better time! The 80's was one hell of a ride! Great music, loose women and President Reagan! Life was great! I honestly don't know how I managed to survive it!
It's long gone but I have my memories and we'll always have the music!
Wish I was around in the 80s, I was Born in 88
Yup, same age.

100% Agree
I was born in 1960 and I have to honestly say in my opinion that the music from the '50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's had a huge impact on my upbringing. Just for the fact it had such great talent. I honestly like a big diverse amount of talent from the 4 era's except for a choice few groups. I will leave it at that but I truly like Cheap Trick for the fact Robin has an amazing voice.

I dont care what anyone says. The 80s was the best music. No agendas thrown at you. No talent less hacks. Just real music with emotion and feeling.
I'm glad that I got to grow up in that time.
The 40s were better jackass.

Yes, yes, yes! Listen often to this beautiful ballad!

How could so many people dislike this song is beyond me. This song is another classic of it's era. Such a heartfelt song I love it.

Whoever dislikes this song is crazy that’s all I can say
I love the song, too, but it doesn't sound anything like the rest of the band's music...
Hearing this song again after all these years has a different meaning for me, more so now knowing he is gone.😭💔😥 Rest easy Chris McCabe, you were and always will be in my heart.

those who were not born and experience the life in the 80s,im sorry to say but you missed the greatest decade of the 20th century.this is truly the decade you will die for just to bring it back,we are very fortunate enough that we experience all the drama, the excitement, the happiness, the very good music plus the cold war in the 1980s.oh I really love the 80s life,if only I could turn back time.

what a self righteous and arrogant attitude. Every decade has had its shit and good and always will. Your parents were saying the same about your youth. Everyone feels their childhood was exceptional/special because childhood is a magical time, the 80s were not special.

Santiago Murillo I do
I hear You
Let's go!
Fuck yeah man I'm an '80's guy and I'll jump right aboard that '80's 'Time Ship'-just make sure I don't have to return to 2019.
Es un sentimiento increíble escuchar esta canción una melancolía con estilo ese teclado y esa guitarra amee The Flame!!
Hola Vanessa
Deseo conocerte
A very Happy 71st Birthday Robin Wayne Zander. Born in Beloit, Wisconsin January 23, 1953.
Robin joined Cheap Trick 50 years ago. 1974..
R & R Hall of Fame induction proves they are a great rock and roll band.
Many, many more Robin Wayne..
It’s 2022, and Robin STILL sounds great!!! He’s taken care of his voice, unlike a lot of singers from the 80’s.
I saw them for the first time a couple of weeks ago. They were excellent, in so many ways.
Saw them last night n they sounded awesome!!!! Great live!
Cheap Trick is pre-80s.
@@reggaefan2700 - I realize that. I was comparing him to 80’s singers who partied WAY to much, and didn’t take care of their voice. Jon Bon Jovi, and Vince Neil are perfect examples!!!
@@chesterswingjr9796 Why not compare him to 70s singers since the band really got big in the 70s?
Listening in 2024 and thinking about old friends, lost loved ones and simpler times. Who’s with me?
Most of mine are dead.
❤
So true
Hell yer, I'm 50s now and we grew up real men. Play fights. Falling out of trees, and blooded knees, and my dad would say.....just a flesh wound. You'll live..
If I could go back in time it would be to my childhood, and with what I know now, I d never of let my true love ever go,and told her that every day.
I cant imagine growing up today, it must be hell on earth, always in the cool gear ect, where as we grew up in our families hand me down clothes, i did say no way to underwear though and not my sisters clothes either lol. 😂
I'm with u
“ You were the first, you’ll be the last!” Love that line!
Thank you
Real talk
Jojo reference
My high school sweetheart who was my first and I still talk to each other to this day. 50 Years later and both of us are single. We had our 1st date in 48 years in 2022. It was GREAT. Both of us have been single for over 25 years. I still love her, but we live 1850 miles apart. Wish I knew what to do!!!
Underrated band with an exceptional lead singer, probably among the top 10 Rock lead singers that has been overlooked
the flame.. I want one! My opinion is it's one of the greatest Love Songs... Ever...Ever..n ever!
Kelly, be very careful what you wish for, Love and Pain are two sides of the same coin. the GREATER the LOVE, the deeper the Pain cuts when something happens...
+steven wicks hi Steven..if wishes were fishes.. the seas would be full?
I agree.
rock and roll bands of the 80s wrote tthe best love songs of all time.
steven wickes: Very well said sir, I couldn't agree more.
I will never get tired of hearing this song. Long live the 80s.
I'm amazed that after all their hits, they only had 1 No.1 Hit, and this masterpiece was that one.
Maybe not a number one hit but I Want You to Want Me was a sensation when it was released.
Crazy little thing called love was great too
How bout Ghost Town it's a great song too I think
And they absolutely hate this song. Funny how that works
Aerosmith only ever had one #1 song, from the movie Armageddon!!!
This is mine and my husband song he dedicated this song to me when I was 16 yrs old .we have been married 28 yrs .And to this day i get emotional when I hear this song .
Hello there, Good day to you and it's nice seeing you here.
Bloody Masterpiece...this song will live through generation after generation.
Biggest Song for homeless people
This is one of those songs I can listen to over & over it never gets old.
One of the most iconic songs of the unforgettable 80´s!!!!!
Forever this song will be locked in my heart ❤️ It kept me alive and dreaming.
I saw them in concert about 3 years ago, absolutely awesome and yes, he can still hit that high note perfectly
Bread
I see you
gerimerrymuffin ...This song holds emotional memories for me.
Me too. I'd ride the longest bull market in history and make a fortune.
lets all just go back and hang out
Growing up in the 80's was a special time for sure.
yes it was !
an oldie but still a damn goody !
I’m absolutely in love with this song and group! Forever grateful for them 😢
Fantastic percussion by Bun E. Carlos. He’s horribly underrated.
Yes!
This. Song. Never. Gets. Old. Your. Right!
As a drummer myself, I can only say YESSSS!!!!!
Yes, but the whole band is underrated.
yes he is
Brings back memories of the 80s. It was a simpler time and I miss it.
Ja też bym chciała,żeby te czasy wróciły.Były najlepsze pod względem wszystkiego chyba.nie tylko muzyki, ale wogóle.
@Sleeping ugh
Najlepsza muzyka pod słońcem i to się nie zmieni NIGDY.
I agree Bryan. It was a lot simpler in every way. And it was more fun in every way. Technology is turning the human race into a bunch of freaks....... I wish I was wrong about that.
My grandpa just passed away June 2nd, my heart and soul continue to crying. Wherever you go I'll be with you . I miss you
Sorry for ur loss.🙏🥺🙏😭
@@gastonforde2121 My sons birthday is June 2, on this day 16 years ago he told me to go away and leave him alone I too miss him everyday I often wonder if he ever thinks of me
😔💔
Oh so sorry ,,
🙏❤️💪🎸🤘🔥
This song came out shortly after my Mom died in 1988. For me it is her song now. Our mothers are always our first girl. You'll always be the one. You were the first you'll be the last. I still can't believe you're gone.
RIP
Pure emotion, this song . Nothing wasted. Their best. Big respect for them. Hard working . Never saw it go to their heads.
23 años y como hubiera anhelado vivir aquella época en juventud.. Simplemente la mejor música la mejor etapa de la humanidad.. LOS 80 no faltaba nada más para ser feliz.. Saludos
I agree with you. I would have LOVED the 80s and 90s. Instead I’m stuck in 2022.
Eran los locos años 80; muy particular y con identidad musical
one of the all time best power ballads in rock history by one of the best bands ever
They actually didn't write this and weren't the first choice to perform it, but I'm glad it was them.
George Harris my dad Dieter laid the brick's on their house in Rockford Illinios my hometown and they still live here
Sometimes music speaks what you feel inside. The late 70s 80s were the best many great memories. Lots of loust back then! Still here listening to this great music. Going back in time. 2024! Tequila time. Sometimes you have to shut the world out and close your eyes and turn up the music!
