I have two questions. Do I must learn Bottom Turn ? Because you also can surf a wave without a Bottom Turn (I don`t use a shortboard), so why do I need it? Just for doing Tricks?
And why do you say at 00:35 that you can make with the Top Turn many tricks ? Which tricks?

Top turns let you set up for tricks. like making speed for airs or you can do tail slides and grabs...things like that!

This is glorious, I been tryin to find out about "surfing small waves tips" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Feyvid Surfers Semitist - (search on google ) ? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my cousin got cool success with it.
