Remember the old saying, "Believe nothing you hear and only half of what you see." Well, I am here to tell you that in this case that saying fits so well. Because I am a victim of the videos of this product. I am warning people to not believe what they are seeing. Keep in mind that the people making these videos are being paid to make the product look very much fun. I purchased one of these. The first time out I hit the breaks and it flipped to the right side. I was thrown out onto the asphalt, sustaining a few injuries. It was because the brakes were not properly adjusted from the factory. In this video you see him hit the brakes and stop in a straight line. Well, good luck with that. He obviously either was going really slow when he hit the brakes or, he had a kart that had already been tested and adjusted at the factory or adjusted just prior to this video.
Let's face it. Videos like this are done professionally. I could not possibly make such an extravagant video. Ask yourself a few questions. Such as, what was the camera man driving that made him low enough to follow the go kart? Also, if you look at the kart right before he test drove it in his driveway, you can see where the wheels already had the marks in the center, that prove this kart had been driven before this video. Which could explain why the brakes stopped in a straight line. They had been adjusted prior to this video.
One other extremely important fact. While I was driving this kart, the vibrations were so bad that I almost could not see in front of me. It rattled my brain profusely. The goggles are useless. It is really hard to see with them on. So, of-course, I was not wearing them. If you have seen the video by Kim Henriksen, when he puts the goggles on he says "I can't see anything" He is another one of the people that get paid to make very misleading videos.
I am only posting this to let people know the dangers of using this product so they do not get hurt. I am not out to make money selling an inferior product. Yes, it looks really cool when you get it. Then you unbox it. Then you attach your hover board. OOPS! That is another flaw. I noticed that the hover board does not "Auto magically" stay straight in line with the kart. It can still twist from side to side. I guess maybe that when you add your body weight it helps hold the board in place. Any how, I do believe that my honest and true comments actually help people in their decision to purchase this product.
I am sure that this is going to piss KhanFlicks off to no end. I sincerely hope that he sees the danger now and can forgive me.

NineBot is a lot better but the price is more. I made a video on the NineBot and still prefer it over this kit.

Andy Ramz I have a couple of Ninebot Karts and I can honestly say they are bomb proof in terms of build quality. You have to connect the Bluetooth and do their dumb driver training for ten minutes to unlock it though. Once you’ve done that, they are super quick.

Got it and it makes the hoverboard way faster and the acceleration is amazing and bigger than it looks but can be made smaller if necessary

December 2021 update: ordered one of these for my kids for Christmas, the go-kart part is good enough for what it is but the hoverboard was defective. Kudos that they got me a second board quickly, serious loss of points because the second hoverboard was defective as well. It might be a better option to get the cheap cart body from these guys but just invest in a better name brand hoverboard to strap it to. Hopefully my adventure with them ends with them making the situation right.

Wondering how long is the strap. I like to mount on ninebot minilite since it is flat like hoverboard. Ninebot gokart kit does not fit what i have .
But what does the gas pedal do then? If you have to use your hand to accelerate and brake

The gas pedal tilts the hover board slowly as though someone is riding it. The handle just allows you to go full out. Doing the same thing the gas pedal does, only quicker (Like flooring it). If you look, there are cables attached to the part of the kart that the hover board sits on. When you press the gas pedal it "Pulls" the attached pads upward, tilting the hover board forward. Making the hover board go forward. Depending on how hard you push the pedal results in how fast the hover board will go. There is a spring attached to both the gas pedal and the brake pedal. Causing each pedal to return to there normal position when released. Keep in mind that you MUST use the handle to go in reverse. I hope this helps.
@@paulreeder5241 no there are no springs so it doesn't go back by itself. Thats the problem. And when I press the pedal it only goes like 2km/h.
I bought 2 of these for my kids they won't move with the pedal. When they use the handle it goes wide open and won't stop even when trying to pull the handle back
