@Da'shwaynius Cobb Jr.: I like it very much. I don't use an external reverb effect. The question rather is what are you using your reverb for? Are you searching for a kind of spacy type of reverb sound or a more basic reverb that "fills the base" of your entire guitar sound? If it should be more than just a simple reverb, you know what's the answer ;)
great demo. I've been looking at this amp for a while. Love the EL84/12ax7 combination. Great for cleans and a killer platform to build the 'perfect tone'. You and I have very similar playing styles and this video is the clincher. Thanks!
This is a great amp, but you do need to take the time to dial in your sounds. When I first tried the crunch and lead channels they sounded a bit thin. I then knocked off the treble to about 10 o'clock and bass about 2 o'clock and the warmth really starts to come through. I add a Maxon od 808 and that does it for me.
I absolutely second this. A flat EQ for this amp seems to be with the mids around 3:00, treble around 9:00, and bass between 9 and 12. A tube change also really helps with the brightness
I've viewed dozens of vids for the TM36 and you've got some of the best tones I've heard. May have pushed me passed "wonder if" to "oh yeah!" - good job man! I'm looking for something as great as my Tweaker 15 but "different" and it's been really tough.
I have read that the amp has reliability issues? I like the design/features but it is concerning that so many have had issues and the warranty is not that strong. It would be good to hear from someone that gigs with this head to comment on this subject!!!
Nice Playing BTW, I just bought this amp today. My EVH head was too loud for my place. Plus they're on sale right now, cause i think they're gonna stop making them. I'm sooo happy i got one. Cheers
Thank you for doing a video just showing the sound! So many reviews talk about the features (I can read about those) but not enough using the head for what it was built for! Question though, why no channel 4 in this vid? Any particular reason?
I'm loving these tones! But I have such a problem with not having a global master volume and then independent channel volumes (in addition to the gain knob). I never feel like I'm able to choose between saturating the power tubes or the preamp tubes. I'm able to do that perfectly with my Legacy 3 but it's just too much power for my needs right now (which is why I'm looking at the meister series). Am I missing something in my assessment? I would welcome any and all thoughts.
Hey nice demo I just bought the Grandmiester 36 I just can't get a crunch sound I like your crunch sound when you lowered the gain was perfect can you post your eq settings and gain thanks bro
You have to think of that the grandmeister 36 isn't the same as the tubemeister 36. The grandmeister has got a completely new designed preamp! Maybe that's the reason for the slightly different sound. I don't remember the EQ settings, sorry!! I always change them as I need to.
Hey man....so I noticed the amp doesn't have a dedicated Presence knob like the grandmeister model. Do you noticed whether this has some impact to the overall clarity (or brown-type sound)? The reason I'm asking is because I know the presence knob on my current amp makes a big difference in the way the high end sounds are coming thru. The treble knob usually just makes the amp sound more or less trebly...but the presence knob is usually responsible for giving that extra bight or extra spark. Since the TM 36 doesn't have it, I fear I might miss it. What's your thought?
Hi. My amp makes a "plopp" noise when switching channels. This is normal? Here I got a demo video: ruclips.net/video/LygJiSgqcSM/видео.html . Thank you!
Great job with the demo! This one pushed me over the edge to buy one.

Hah! This is the EXACT setup I play on. Love the PPC112. Such a badass fucking cab.
Great sounding amp! And great playing man !.. rock on!

can you list you sweet spot settings? pre amp vs power tube for each channel? eq?

Great audio and video :-)
This video really helped me decide if I ant this amp
Good video. Thanks. You make it sound good with both guitars.
And the broncos would approve.
Отличный тест!
Thanks for the video. Trying to see if I can downsize from a 6505+ 112 to a Tubemeister 36.
I’m just learning was it hard to hook up your mic to your amp or Guitar using the hughes & Kettner

Because there are only 3 channels ;) Maybe you mean the Grandmeister, that amp has 4 channels. I'm playing the Tubemeister...
Is this amp good for mild distortion type of tone? Like vinai trinateepakdee tone? Thx

What do you mean by "Slightly Modified back"?
Can the XLR output be connected safely to a mixing board with (shared) phantom power activated?
Yes it can be connected. Maybe you'll have to switch on a pad on your console because of the strong signal coming from the tubemeister.

This is a very bright, clear amp. I think if anything, you would want to dial back the brightness
What orange cabinet is This?
I think it's a PPC112
PPC112 ?
Ehm, yes, as I wrote...
dude, is a 1X12 loud and powerful enough for small bar gigs and school onstage performance for around 70 people ? Love the vid BTW
If your head is powerful enough of course...
I know im late but the answer is yes. I played a school auditorium with this and a 2x12.. i had now mic and it hit the back of the room no problem.
Is that a 1x12 ou 2x12 cabinet?
1x12

Thank you!
+Martín Michlig I didn't have any issues like that with my amp. Sry! I'll recomend to bring the amp to your local music store dealer to check it...
DST Music&Fun
Thank you for your advice!
If you could upload a video like mine would be great!
Thanks again!!!
+Martín Michlig You would hear nothing if I would switch the channels ;)
At 8:00: feedback fail, ho ho ho. Great review, anyway. Don't care about me.
The overdrive sound is little bit like a piece of plastic; cheap in one word......
