A club only 15 years back was in league 2 and championship now all of a sudden bigger than the 3rd most successful team in England 😅
To the City fans football only started 7-8 ago when Pep set foot in Manchester...
first up Francis, it was 24 years ago and it was our only ever season in it. 1 in 130 years. "Those with no future live in the past"
Chelsea? I don't think City are bigger than Chelsea.
@@Cropsy-yy9wg plus it was league 1 not 2. These haters are blinded by it.
@@davidstephenson164Man City are bigger than Chelsea.
So according to noel, league titles don't make you big, only CL's do. This means despite Man City's dominance and title wins since 2012, they only officially became a big club last season after being small for the previous 100 plus seasons. 😂
not bad though city have been in the cl 12 years 1 semi 1 final 1 win . united been in 55 years 3 wins so 1 win every 18.3 years who is doing better so city to compete with united need two more cl wins in 42 years i think they will probably have around 10 by then
@@thedean4431 It still doesn't change the point. If a CL win dictates whether you're big or not, city have only officially been a big club for a few months. This is according to Noel's logic. 😉
@@helicoptersrkool Guess Nottingham Forest must be bigger than City too by his logic.
@@ItsAv3rageGameroh yes
It would mean that Nottingham Forest are a bigger club than Man City, because they won it twice.
Who takes any notice of this donut? At least other teams win trophies based on merit and not artificially. Scraping through 115 charges certainly doesn’t get scrutinised enough.
I mean quite a lot of people since he's Noel Gallagher😂😂, 115 alleged ffp charges, joke charges, ffp was brought in for one reason which was to keep the already established teams at the top and that's it. Citys only crime is their owners spending their own money on the team, factlities and local community. We have zero debt whereas another team in Manchester has over 1 billion but somehow we are breaking FFP haha what a load of shite
@@jamesmachonyes but at least one of those 115 charges will be a breach. You don’t get that many charges if you have done nothing wrong. If the same guy keeps getting pulled into a court room accused of various different crimes he will start to look very guilty.

As a Gooner of 35+ years- i genuinely do see his point- winning the CL would be nice.....

@@thedean4431You are completely wrong. Man City have a 50%+ Commercial revenue to total revenue ratio. Arsenal's match-day revenue, even when not playing in the Champions League, is much more than City’s, and city’s broadcasting revenue is only higher than Arsenal's because of Champions League revenue. One is a club that grew organically over a century and the other one has 115 charges and has overinflated sponsorship contracts with state companies from the country of the owner, who happens to be part of the people who run the government.

When it comes to big questions regarding football I always come to the conclusion what would Noel Gallagher think
Agree. The epitome of 'jumping on the bandwagon' new Man City supporters. Refuse to acknowledge their success is completely manufactured and bought.
Financially engineered since 2008 when it began for Man City

How do you feel about the middle east Noel...? lets get your opinion on anything your remotely interested in ...
Its not your fault Noel, your merely a puppet... badly constructed...
Most of your trophies were won in the 1930s when you were owned by the richest man in Britain, which probably made him the richest man in the world at the time
Well put ❤
they need to start asking Noel about the 100 plus charges and how its tainted City's trophies.
A big club is a club that still has a world wide following even when they don’t win much. And that is arsenal. People will forget Man City when they stop winning trophies because their fan base is small
BS. Fan numbers don't make a big club. If that were the case, Flamengo would be the biggest club in the world. It's the trophies and prestige.
Arsenal are big. But Chelsea, Utd, Liverpool are all bigger. And City are getting there.
The day Pep decides to leave people will quickly forget about Man City .
@@jeanlundi2141 😂
90% of Chelsea's fanbase is made up of bandwagon gloryhunters.
Think about it, if Abramovich had bought Fulham, there'd be a sh*tload of Fulham fans around today, and Chelsea would be in League 2.
To put it into further perspective, there were more people celebrating on the streets for Leicester's title win than there were for Chelsea's first CL win.
Chelsea's "fans" are the quickest to turn on the club when their form goes to sh*t. They define the term "Checkbook Club" and still do to this day.
@@jeanlundi2141
In a year ....who oh corruption city
Come back when you do a season unbeaten, your club is about 10 years old.
😂😂😂😂 2050 you will still only have that to celebrate
Ridiculous. You don't have to be a Arsenal supporter to know they are a big club. So is Villa and Forest, because they have achieved and have global prominence. In the context Arsenal wouldn't be considered a European giant, but that doesn't make them not a big club
The Villa and Forest thing is a such a cope for Arsenal fans 😂😂 especially now City have won one.
Big club tier list of English clubs:
Tier 1- Man United, Liverpool
Tier 2- Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City
Tier 3- Spurs, Newcastle, Villa, Everton
Of course recency plays a part. Forest have barely been in the top flight over the last 25 years.
Everton have never been relegated from the Premiership. And they have been in the top tier longer than all those teams bar Arsenal. So that's recency as well. The five, six, seven? times City have been relegated in the Premier league era is recency as well
But they've won the league like 5 of the last 6 times. Of course they're bigger than Everton right now. Leicester winning the league in 2016 didn't put them in the top 3 tiers but the consistency for a few years under Rogers maybe put them in there. But they are solidly in the 4th tier at least now.@@fitzroygeorge6823
Arsenal fans, like their club, are so emotional. Their 20 years in the wilderness has really hurt them. You can see why they celebrate so much over a community shield or even a deflected goal win over City. People validating themselves over the club they support really is up there with the top insecurity traits.
Bet your 43 subscribers agree👍

I think we won four or five FA cups in those 20 years. Just ignore that. "In the wilderness" is just rubbish. We have been adjusting to the financial doping of the game brought about by Chelsea, PSG and Man City. Just readjusting to the financial cheats and now we are back!!!!!!
Football did not begin in 2008
City only become a club 8 years ago 115 charges later and when pep leaves it's all up
So man city with 8😅 cups are bigger than Arsenal with 13 titles and 1 the only invincible
Ah yes the invincible trophy, what an achievement 🤷♂️ Go unbeaten for a season or get over 100 points, I know what I'd rather

Agreed, the fact that he thinks city who cant sell 20k tickets to wembley when playing Liverpool are a big club is just amazing, when 3 weeks later sunderland took 22k and begged for more tickets, they are a big club. Oil money making you successful doesnt make you have more fans than everyone else, and doesnt make you BIG. 8 season losing favourites for CL, and over 10 years on bounce making a financial loss until last season, when liverpool made profit for 9 of those seasons, laughable really

If you feel Serie A are considered as big club then why did they not win anything since 10-15 years? This metric that you're a big club if you have won CL is wrong,Champions league should never be a standalone metric to justify if you are a big club or not,you do need it but you can be a big club only when you are consistently winning trophies or you have the highest trophies in your league plus having a much bigger fanbase. Manchester United are a big club,no one would point fingers at them, they're not a big club because they have won CL,it's because of their domestic records.
