i use windows 11 at office, you have any video on how to repair external hardisk without loosing the contents, the hardisk is making clicking sound and the contents are showing very late
It imported the video in upside down. I had to use Davinci to flip it. When I recorded the video with my pixel 4a it was already in MP4 format, but for whatever reason, Davinci could not import it until I formatted it into MP4 again, or something else.
Open an old XP machine, r a Win 8, 8.1 or Win 10 if you kept your old computers. Then simply "save your video's directly from your camera/cellphone directly into that, or if it's inside your Win 11 already, thumbdrive it across to the old machine, and do EVERYTHING inside the older machine (keeping it entirely OFFline, by killing it's internet capabilities or putting it into airoplane mode if you don't wish to uninstall the internet connectivity) Wipe all the old programs that you won't be needing, EXCEPT FOR Movie Maker, Picture gallery, Any Audio files, and such like, keep the notepad too (for writting things on) and maybe another file such as "saved movie projects (outside the gallery, as backups) Then simply use all the computing power now freed up, to run Movie Maker, doing all of your camers'a video editing there, and ONLY bring the file back as a "saved .mp4 movie. That way, all of your video editing will be in the same place, well away from the internet, until YOU are ready to copy it to your Win PC for uploading somewhere. I spent years making video edits with Movie maker and SAVING to the PC wasn't the 1,000 (thousand) step process it now is, inside PowerDirector, which ONLY simple saves a "stand-alone file inside the editor program itself, unable to be viewed by your PC or anything else, until you do the 1,000 step shaggingaround, to get the (usable) file to your desktop.

Hi there! The error code 0x800c006 can sometimes appear with older programs like Windows Movie Maker. Here are a few things you can try to fix it: 1. Run as Administrator: I know you mentioned trying this already, but just in case, make sure you’re right-clicking on the setup file and selecting Run as administrator. 2. Compatibility Mode: Since it’s an older program, try running the installer in compatibility mode. Right-click the setup file, go to Properties, then Compatibility, and select an older Windows version, like Windows 7 or XP. 3. Check .NET Framework: Sometimes, older programs need specific versions of .NET Framework. Make sure .NET 3.5 is enabled on your system by going to Windows Features and checking the box for .NET 3.5. 4. Disable Antivirus Temporarily: Some antivirus programs can block installations. Try disabling yours temporarily while running the setup. 5. Use an Offline Installer: If you have the option, an offline installer (one that doesn’t need to download anything during setup) can sometimes avoid network-related errors. 6. Clear Temporary Files: You can clear temporary files in your system, either with Disk Cleanup or by going to %temp% and deleting files there. 7. Install Windows Updates: Sometimes, installing any pending Windows updates can help resolve compatibility issues. 8. Run Compatibility Troubleshooter: Windows has a built-in troubleshooter for older programs. Search for “Run programs made for previous versions of Windows” and follow the steps.
