I don't know what in the hell is happening here. But if Tariq is there for the long haul, big ups. Fathers are important. Mine was. I'm not adopted. But I have a half-sister who knows no other father even though she has visited with her bio. I also have an adopted sister. I've had to share my father with some level of personal resent on my part. But I eventually let that go because I understood what and why he did. I miss him.
I haven't seen this episode yet but from what we've seen from other episodes I won't be surprised if he was just there to see his ex girlfriend who is a teacher there who is happily moving on with her life
