Big Island Backpack Trip

This video highlights my incredible adventures (and many blunders) on Big Island, Hawaii. This would be my first solo backpacking trip, and I hope to do more in the future.

You really did not have the best of luck on this trip. You did have some fun moments in the pools below those spectacular waterfalls though. I know myself just how difficult wind can be when erecting tents and keeping them in place on stormy nights. The good times though on trips really do outnumber the bad moments. You did have more than your fair share of disappointments this time though. Great to see more than just the tourist brochure images of Hawaii.

Never heard a mre called a blessing :) lol I havent had much luck with my heaters lately military grade. I honestly cant stand coconut water yuck!! Sucks about your tent usually there is a repair bar in there for such an event. ElSalvador has your black sand :) I deployed there for hurricane Mitch relief I still have some black sand in a bottle its cool how it sparkles. ohh stay off my youtube page 😂

Man pretty sure hawaii would fine me if I took some of the sand haha. And I totally understand the deal with coconut water, though, I personally like it but only fresh. 🥥
