Haha, definitely pros and cons to walking st night. I would also definitely recommend visiting Makapu'u Beach. So far it has become a favorite of mine on Oahu.
Lovely destination for your walk but what a lot of roadwork. Some of the road did seem a bit hairy with the fast traffic and low light. Nightwalks are so different and the atmosphere of the world seems to be so changed. Even in town with all so quiet it is a really alien experience.
