I would say you are mostly African, with some European and a bit of Native American. The Europeans(mostly Spaniards &Portuguese) committed genocide against the original Natives. This is why there are no pure Native Americans in the Caribbean. We are mostly mixtures of European and Africans, with insignificant amounts of Native(Taino) DNA. Even if an individual looks Taino it doesn't mean they are 100% or mostly. Test your DNA using an ancestry DNA kit or another. Your results will probably show significant amounts of African DNA. You are very beautiful, as many Afro-Latinas, and others. As Latinos we come in all shades.

Puerto Rican's in general tend to be tri-racial with a dominance of European blood with some exceptions on the east side of the island, Taino and African ancestries run neck and neck as opposed to other islands in the region , according to the most recent DNA studies. What was taught in schools about Tainos being extinct has proven to be untrue. Google the Taino genome project if you doubt my words. So stop hating on the sister unless you have her dna results you can never know for sure.

I would say you are mostly African, with some European and a bit of Native American. The Europeans(mostly Spaniards &Portuguese) committed genocide against the original Natives. This is why there are no pure Native Americans in the Caribbean. We are mostly mixtures of European and Africans, with insignificant amounts of Native(Taino) DNA. Even if an individual looks Taino it doesn't mean they are 100% or mostly. Test your DNA using an ancestry DNA kit or another. Your results will probably show significant amounts of African DNA. You are very beautiful, as many Afro-Latinas, and others. As Latinos we come in all shades.

Puerto Rican's in general tend to be tri-racial with a dominance of European blood with some exceptions on the east side of the island, Taino and African ancestries run neck and neck as opposed to other islands in the region , according to the most recent DNA studies. What was taught in schools about Tainos being extinct has proven to be untrue. Google the Taino genome project if you doubt my words. So stop hating on the sister unless you have her dna results you can never know for sure.
